I really enjoyed coming back to my paranormal romance roots with this book! Matt and Kat were interesting characters that I liked right away. Their story is fast paced and cleverly added many familiar mythology themes to the story. Matt’s self exile from his Druid heritage and Kay’s complete ignorance to hers lent a sort of opposites attract trope to their romance, not to mention their numerous unexpected meetings.
I’m new to Zoe Forward’s writings and will definitely be looking for more of her books. Her dialogue is engaging and her characters are interesting. A new fan is born!

Oh how much I enjoyed "Protecting His Witch".
As of page one I was falling hard for Matt and Kat. Both of them are so funny, sexy and interesting to read about.

From the moment they first met, until 10 years later, when they meet again. Normally I do not like the back-and-forth and it is not that here it is all the time, but due to certain jumps it is the nature. But then both of them start trusting each other and their feelings and it was just so nice to get to experience their relationship.

Of course you have a lot of adventure in there and some family drama and for sure some sexy scenes, but all was well balanced and I just read this book within 2 days!

I can't wait for the next one, especially as we get a first glimpse of Serenity and Alexi already.

Oh, ich hab das Buch sehr genossen. Bereits nach 2 Tagen war ich durch, und musste mich von Matt & Kat verabschieden.

Die beiden haben mir den Einstieg mega leicht gemacht und es war eine tolle, spannende und lustige Geschichte. Und oh Mann, Matt ... phu, der weiß, was Kat will ;)

Normalerweise mag ich ja so ein Hin und Her nicht, und hier ist das auch nicht so im klassischen Sinne aufgrund der Sprünge, aber es war dennoch spannend zu sehen, wie die beiden zueinander finden und anfangen sich zu vertrauen, sich verlieben und gemeinsam in ein Abenteuer fallen. Natürlich gibt es auch noch ein paar Familiengeschichten, aber das gehört zu einer guten Geschichte dazu.

Für alle Liebhaber von heißen Druiden, tapferen Hexen, und spannenden Geschichten mit viel Herz.
