This was such an awesome book! I really enjoyed reading Blair and Denny's story and getting to read about them as children and growing up together. I loved Denny so much!!! He was a bronc riding cowboy that would hide his pain behind his humor. Blair was such a relatable character that was always trying to do everything for everyone else. This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster but I loved it! I highly recommend this second chance cowboy romance.

This is my absolute favorite book from the series so far! Second chance romance is my favorite trope, and this was done PERFECTLY!! Denny and Blair have lived rent-free in my mind for months, and it's safe to say that they'll have a place in my heart forever.

Blair was such a wonderful fmc. She's strong, independent, caring, and felt so real to me. I related to her so much as someone who takes her independence very seriously, to the point where it's just easier to push people away to prevent them from getting too close. I loved her and wanted to give her a huge hug. Her growth and healing throughout the book are everything to me, and I loved seeing the way she grew to accept Denny's love and help. He gave her space to feel things, and I thought it was so beautiful to see the way they found each other again.

DENVER WELLS IS THAT MAN!!! I could not get enough of him!! He loves so hard, and it's obvious that he is such a selfless person and would do anything for those he loves. He was SO HOT!!! That man crawledddd for the woman he loves! Denver really put in the work and showed Blair that he was a safe space for her to land. I love when men!!!!

I truly enjoyed reading about them when they were younger. It just showed how deep their love ran. Both characters were going through their own issues, which had a lot of depth and were honestly handled very well, but they took care of each other. They saw each other, down to the bones, and did not let each other go easily. Their relationship was full of longing, tension, hurt, and ultimately, a love that could not be broken. Their story was beautiful! I laughed, cried, swooned, and screamed as I read this because I truly love this book and series so much. Thank you, Bailey Hannah, for creating one of my favorite cowboy romance series!

I am completely in my cowboy era and have been enjoying this Wells Ranch series so much. Hannah puts high steam and heart in her books and it's just a fun ride. Denny and Blair's story is not easy and it spans years. But that makes the pay off in their second chance romance very rewarding. I appreciate the author's use of content warnings. I am very excited for the next book and love how she gave hints as to what's coming up!

Blair and Denver were made for each other and you can’t convince me otherwise. I loved the open communication and it was clear that Denver loved her from the beginning. Bailey Hannah did a good job in writing characters with cancer and Alzheimer’s and I could really feel the character’s emotions through the page. The flashbacks into their breakup kinda wrecked me, so I’m so glad they got the redemption they deserved <3

Saddle up and get back to Wells Ranch with this steamy, second chance, it’s always been you cowboy romance!

At first you want to scream and kick your feet over the banter between these two that’s until the back flashes start, then the emotions take over, you cry a little but the end is worth it!

Blair is the typical older daughter of the family. The dependable one, problem solver, and the care taker. But who takes care of her? Well, it used to be Denver Wells before their lives changed. Well I absolutely loved being back on Wells Ranch. I’ve been anxiously waiting for Blair and Denny’s story.

This was definitely an emotional ride but thankfully, Dennys sense of humor helped to make light of the book in a way.

Blair and Denny’s relationship is so sweet. The true definition of it’s always been you. Even though they grew apart for several years they are able to open up their hearts to each other again and create the most beautiful love story together. Blair definitely has her reservations about Denny and his playboy ways but this man is DOWN BAD & he stops at nothing to get Blair back and prove to her that she is IT for him.

Okay … I think at this point I would devour any book written by Bailey Hannah. I’m already read for At Whit’s End!

This is a second chance romance and I couldn’t read it fast enough, the pining and mutual yearning was too much. Blair and Denver are meant to be and it’s so satisfying to see them get their happily ever after.

Blair is an overly independent and stubborn fmc which I love, and Denver is a mmc that is all about his woman! I will never look at ice cream the same way after this read🥵

I devoured the anticipated 3rd book in this series! I loved seeing this side of Denny. I teared up several times! The dual timelines were done so well. I really felt like I saw the moment that Blair and Denny fell in love as young teens and it was so special.

All you have to say is second chance romance and you have gotten my attention! This one felt so raw and inevitable. Loved it!

This books deals with quite a very sensitive topics so its important to read the trigger warnings. But Bailey Hannah handles them with a lot of care.

Now the spice…SPICY. Whew. It was a good time!

3.5 Stars Oh how I love a second chance romance! And one set on a ranch with cowboys? Sign me up! Change of Hart is the third book in Bailey Hannah's Wells Ranch series.

Blair Hart didn't expect to return to Wells Canyon, but with her mother ill, she must return fourteen years after she left the town and the boy she loved behind. Denver "Denny" Wells hasn't been the same since his world came crashing down around him and the love of his life slipped away. Now she's back and he's ready to prove that he can be the man Blair needs: someone she can trust, rely on, and who will take care of her while she takes care of everyone else. The heartbreak from years ago is hard to escape, as is Denny's current reputation as a playboy, but Blair sees hope that things may finally work out this time. If only she can truly let go of the past and trust Denny.

This was such a great addition to the Wells Ranch series! I appreciated that there was no miscommunication trope or third act breakup after these two finally worked it out! Denny and Blair's HEA is hard fought, so they deserve everything good thing that happens to them. Sometimes dual timelines drive me crazy in second chance romances (I just wanna know what happened in the past already!), but this one was well done and didn't leave too much of a mystery as to what caused their breakup in the first place.

Change of Hart might just be my favorite book in the series. Not only do we finally get Denny’s story and his second chance at love, but we also learn so much more about his mom and the family’s past. The deeper look at the ranch and the Wells family history adds richness to the world Bailey Hannah has built. Denver is still his lovable self, but seeing him in love adds even more depth to his character. And yes—the spicy scenes are just as hot as expected! The entire Wells family is back, bringing the laughs and making us feel like we’re right there with them. Honestly, I just want to sip sangria with the girls and scope out cowboys! Highly recommend this one for anyone who’s been following the series or loves a good cowboy romance.!

Bailey Hannah is a genius. I loved every minute of Blair and Denver’s story. Bailey tackles tough, sensitive material in a loving and respectful matter. I’m a Wells family fan and can’t wait for the next one!!

I wanted to scream with excitement when I got this ARC because Seeing Red was one of my favorite books last year.

This book broke my heart and put it back together again. I love me some second chance, high school sweethearts and the dual timeline made all the difference 🥹

I’m not sure if it is a 3.75 or 4.

I think it’s a beautiful and believable love story. A LOT of hard topics discussed but I think she did it well (idk I’ve never dealt with the topics in discussion). I loved the characters and the real world feel of this book.

I enjoyed this book. However, I didn’t gel with the characters or the story as well as I did with the last two. I love flashback scenes but I thought the present time story got lost/fell a little flat at some points.

Either way I love me my cowboys and I love Bailey Hannah.

This was a great second chance romance! I have never read this series or author before and it was a really great read. A big thank you to NetGalley and Random House for sending me this arc and allowing me to find a new fav author!

In the arc I do have a problem with her being a nurse practitioner taking anti depressants and getting drunk. She isn’t trying to end her life so it doesn’t feel intentional. Maybe the author already heard about this and did the research to correct this.

Blair and Denver were so perfect for one another and I really loved the cameos we saw of the other characters from the previous books in the series!!

Honestly, I had zero doubt that Bailey Hannah was going to deliver on Denver and Blair. This sweet second chance romance made me sweat, giggle, and cry. I love them so much.

Change of Hart is the epic love story of Blair Hart and Denver Wells, told over a dual timeline. The connection they built as childhood friends then sweethearts, forming from the age of 13 through to what caused the heartbreaking rift in their late teens is where all the emotion and drama lies in this story. From the moment they reconnect in the now, it is pretty much a straight shoot to their happy ever after, using a 5 minutes of honesty rule to bring to the surface and overcome moments in their past.

It was an engaging read, and the backstory (then), held most of raw and emotional moments and I found myself waiting for a moment of drama, deeply emotional moments in the current day, but they were limited.

I love this author and her writing! I’ve been obsessed with this whole series. Hands down this one is my favorite. This is the first book to ever make me cry. I felt so seen in the FMC. Her stories all feel like you’re reading a movie. I highly recommend her and will always read any of her books

Another cowboy romance I couldn’t put down! Denver Wells is THE one! The man stopped everything when he thought he saw his girl back in town! He did everything he could to prove to Blair she was it for him. And don’t get me started on the banter! Denver and Blair’s connection is absolute perfection!

The flashback chapters were more than I could have hoped for. We get to see how their friendship turned into romance and I ate that up! Even when they started dating, their friendship only grew. It was hard reading the last few flashback chapters (check trigger warnings). I found myself tearing up 🥹 but they worked through what happened in their own way and came back stronger with more love for one another.

Needless to say, if Bailey Hannah writes it, I’m going to read it!
