So happy to have been back at Wells Ranch! I love the way Bailey is able to pull you in and you are stuck until the end. Change of Hart does alternate between present and past with both characters. Denny and Blair dated when they were teenagers and reunited over a decade later so it was nice seeing parts of their past!
This is an emotional journey between Denny and Blair but they are so adorable! They deserved their happy ending. Their journey back to each other was not an easy one but they were able to heal together from their past and become stronger individuals and a couple.
I loved Denny’s hard work and dedication to show Blair she can trust him again and that he loves her so much! You can see how much he loves her, he did crawl for her!
I can’t wait for book 4!

Absolutely loved this book in the Wells Ranch Series. I thought the blending of the past and present timelines was done so seamlessly. The only thing I wish we saw more of was Denver's journey through processing the initial reasons for their breakup and his growth journey through that. I feel like we didn't get enough reasoning to believe that he really had worked through it, and not just telling Blair what she wants to hear. Regardless, the chemistry between the two of these characters is undeniably and left me feeling all the warm fuzzies!

This killed me. This caused me to stay up much too late during one of the busiest work weeks of my life and I am paying for it, but it was entirely worth it.
Blair and Denny’s second chance at happiness was the most soothing balm to my soul (look at me waxing poetic). Watching them navigate their complicated past so maturely and effectively (no miscommunication! No third-act breakup!) was so heart-wrenching and emotional, especially when their full story is revealed. I loved how we get to see the two of them evolve from teenagers to adults, and how their choices and actions reflect that growth.
Thank you to NetGalley for this arc!

This is the 3rd book in the Wells Ranch series. It is the first of this series I"ve read, this book was easily a stand alone - but I'd like to go back and read the first 2 stories, too. Spicy and interesting second chance romance.
This is Blair and Denver's story - past romantic partners and family history keep them together. Blair is back in town due to her mother's illness and she reconnects with childhood sweetheart, Denver. She spent most of her time with him and his family, barrel racing on the rodeo circuit. Now that she's back in town, Denver wants to pick up their romance.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

I absolutely devoured this book! If you love second-chance romances with characters who have real history and unresolved tension, this one will hit you right in the heart. Blair and Denver’s chemistry crackles from the very first page, and the witty banter between them had me laughing out loud more than once. The author does such a great job of balancing the spice and emotional depth—this isn’t just a romance, it’s a story about healing, growth, and forgiveness.
Blair is strong and guarded, and watching her slowly (and reluctantly!) open back up to the cowboy who broke her heart years ago was so satisfying. Denver, meanwhile, is the perfect mix of rugged charm and emotional vulnerability—he’s determined to make things right, and you can’t help but root for him.
The small-town setting adds another layer of intimacy to the story, and the side characters were just as vivid and well-drawn as the main couple. I felt like I was right there in Wells Canyon, caught up in all the tension, heartache, and unexpected laughs.
This is the kind of book that leaves you smiling at the last page, already missing the characters. Highly recommend for fans of spicy romances with depth, sass, and a cowboy who’ll do whatever it takes to win back the love of his life.

Change of Heart by Bailey Hannah kicked off my cowboy era in the best way! Angsty, emotional, and seriously sexy—this second chance romance hit all the right notes.

Thank you so much Ballentine publishing and Netgalley for this arc. i am in love with Denver and Blair. this is angsty, emotinal beautiful. just a well done second chance romance.

Change of Hart changed my heart for the better. I didn’t think anything could top Seeing Red because I am Cassidy and Cassidy is me but I was proven wrong with Blair and Denver.
This second chance romance shows us how two people fell in love as kids and found their love again 14 years after heartbreak. I am not going to say “fell in love as kids and fell in love again as adults” because that would be a lie. Blair and Denny never stopped loving each other. There was not one moment in either of their lives where they thought it could be anyone else but them.
“One time I read in a CosmoGirl issue that calling a guy by his full name—not a nickname—means you’re in love with him.” Blair only ever referred to him as Denver. The entire story. Because she never stopped loving him.

Second chance romance? Sign. Me. Up. Amazing writing and story telling. I feel in love with Denver and Blair and their love story. My heart-wrenching when we finally find out what happened to tear them apart in the first place. 10/10

Bailey Hannah writes amazing books, and this is no exception. I felt this book really showed emotion, showed how the characters connected, and showed how their relationship was able to pick back up. I will be recommending this to everyone I know.

Blair Hart has returned to Wells Canyon to help care for her mother. She has avoided the town for years. Denver Wells her boyfriend during her teen years still lives in town. Blair has tried to not run into him for the past several years.
Denver sees Blair and knows he has to get her back; he has always loved her. Denver let Blair go years ago when his life fell apart and he needs to get her back in his life.
Wonderful story of letting go of the past and moving toward the future.

Change of Hart is the kind of second-chance cowboy romance that digs its spurs into your heart and refuses to let go. Denver Hart—a charming, stubborn, and deliciously reformed playboy—stumbles back into Blair’s life after 14 years of silence, and the emotional reckoning that follows is everything. Bailey Hannah masterfully weaves past and present through a dual timeline, making their youthful love story just as compelling as their grown-up heartache. Denver is obsessed (in the best way), and Blair’s fierce independence slowly crumbling under his relentless devotion had me swooning. The angst is top-tier, the spice is filthy good, and the emotional depth—especially around mental health and family struggles—lifts this far above your average ranch romance. No third-act breakup? Just two flawed, lovable people fighting for each other? Yes, please. If you love cowboys who wear their hearts on their sleeves (and know exactly how to use their hands), this one’s for you.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine/Dell for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited when I received this e-arc! I absolutely love Bailey Hannah's writing and was ready to be back at Wells Ranch! The characters and the story line were so cute and I'm definitely in my cowboy romance era! Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this arc!

okay okay, this book is so good. I'm obsessed with Blair and Denver. I might be a little biased because I absolutely love second chance romances, but you know what I like better than that? a WELL WRITTEN second chance romance. I feel like in this era where we have so many books ending up in a similar way, that is hard finding one that stands out, and this one was GOLD.
The only thing that I was kind of "bothered" with and not even that much to the point of removing a star was that when this gets hot, it started to happen so frequently that I even start to think it was shifting from the point, but it might totally be my mistake or just one of the things that I usually don't like in books, so ignore this part if you like smut a lot.

I LOVED this second chance romance more than any other one I have read !
Things I loved the most :
1) they country swing and two step in this book and dancing on page in books is one of my favorite microtropes
2) he gets her an espresso maker
3) Lucy Wells 😭😭😭😭
4 ) Neapolitan ice cream as a plot device (unlike the potatoes in seeing red this does get a little kinky )
5) the reason they broke up at 18 😭😭😭😭
6) true SOULMATES
Thank you for this arc! I was so happy to see Red, Cassidy and Hazel again ❤️❤️❤️

This was such an awesome book! I really enjoyed reading Blair and Denny's story and getting to read about them as children and growing up together. I loved Denny so much!!! He was a bronc riding cowboy that would hide his pain behind his humor. Blair was such a relatable character that was always trying to do everything for everyone else. This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster but I loved it! I highly recommend this second chance cowboy romance.

This is my absolute favorite book from the series so far! Second chance romance is my favorite trope, and this was done PERFECTLY!! Denny and Blair have lived rent-free in my mind for months, and it's safe to say that they'll have a place in my heart forever.
Blair was such a wonderful fmc. She's strong, independent, caring, and felt so real to me. I related to her so much as someone who takes her independence very seriously, to the point where it's just easier to push people away to prevent them from getting too close. I loved her and wanted to give her a huge hug. Her growth and healing throughout the book are everything to me, and I loved seeing the way she grew to accept Denny's love and help. He gave her space to feel things, and I thought it was so beautiful to see the way they found each other again.
DENVER WELLS IS THAT MAN!!! I could not get enough of him!! He loves so hard, and it's obvious that he is such a selfless person and would do anything for those he loves. He was SO HOT!!! That man crawledddd for the woman he loves! Denver really put in the work and showed Blair that he was a safe space for her to land. I love when men!!!!
I truly enjoyed reading about them when they were younger. It just showed how deep their love ran. Both characters were going through their own issues, which had a lot of depth and were honestly handled very well, but they took care of each other. They saw each other, down to the bones, and did not let each other go easily. Their relationship was full of longing, tension, hurt, and ultimately, a love that could not be broken. Their story was beautiful! I laughed, cried, swooned, and screamed as I read this because I truly love this book and series so much. Thank you, Bailey Hannah, for creating one of my favorite cowboy romance series!
Thank you Netgalley and Dell Romance for the arc!

I am completely in my cowboy era and have been enjoying this Wells Ranch series so much. Hannah puts high steam and heart in her books and it's just a fun ride. Denny and Blair's story is not easy and it spans years. But that makes the pay off in their second chance romance very rewarding. I appreciate the author's use of content warnings. I am very excited for the next book and love how she gave hints as to what's coming up!

Blair and Denver were made for each other and you can’t convince me otherwise. I loved the open communication and it was clear that Denver loved her from the beginning. Bailey Hannah did a good job in writing characters with cancer and Alzheimer’s and I could really feel the character’s emotions through the page. The flashbacks into their breakup kinda wrecked me, so I’m so glad they got the redemption they deserved <3

Saddle up and get back to Wells Ranch with this steamy, second chance, it’s always been you cowboy romance!
At first you want to scream and kick your feet over the banter between these two that’s until the back flashes start, then the emotions take over, you cry a little but the end is worth it!
Blair is the typical older daughter of the family. The dependable one, problem solver, and the care taker. But who takes care of her? Well, it used to be Denver Wells before their lives changed. Fast forward nearly fourteen years Blaire and Denver have a chance to rekindle their childhood romance or be forever second guessing if they were the one that got away.
