THIS is what second chance romances are supposed to be! The angst, the emotion, the journey through their pain. Not to mention the absolute fire of reconnecting. Denver was down BAD for Blair and I’m here for it.

Another one of Bailey’s stories that I could relate to so much!
Blair (the older daughter. IYKYK) tries to do it all and finally is shown by Denny she doesn’t have to. We all deserve to be taken care of like this and end up in our “little blue house”.
There’s some HEAVY topics in this series, but especially this book. Bailey did a great job with all the heaviness though and tied it all together so well.

Hey, do you like crying? Then this is the book for you!
I'm calling it now, this will be my top book of the year. There is SO MUCH that I loved about it: the yearning, the grief, the healing, IT WAS JUST PERFECT. Bailey is a fantastic author, and she truly shines in this book (as she has with her previous ones, obviously). This book grabs your heart and twists the emotion right out of you, and I couldn't recommend it more!

This. Freaking. Book. GAHHHH.
I absolutely devoured Denny and Blair. This is easily one of my favorite books of the year.
Denver is such a sunshiney character and I absolutely adored him. He’s a bronc riding cowboy who isn’t looking for anything serious because he gave his heart away at 16 and never got it back. There were so many times throughout the story that I wanted to reach in and give him the biggest hug 🥹 I loved his caring nature and how he never stopped showing up for Blair, even after all their years apart and her pushing him away.
Blair, sweet sweet Blair. After returning to Wells Canyon after her mom’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis, she is still running from her first love (and only love) while working as a nurse practitioner in their small town. She has a lot on her plate yet refuses to ask for help from anyone, especially not Denver Wells.
Blair finally letting her walls down and healing both herself and Denny from their past mistakes had me sobbing. Their love is something so special and I could feel it emanating from the pages. Their connection was sooo good and their chemistry was sooo hot. The spice was delicious and the mouth on both of them was 🔥 This is how you write a second chance romance 🙌
I have loved this series and I am so excited to see where Bailey takes the next book.

4.5 stars!
Thank you to Ballantine and NetGalley for the eARC!
Bailey, my queen, you dropped this --> 👑
I've been a fan of Bailey Hannah's work since I stumbled upon Alive and Wells on Kindle Unlimited last year, and I'm just so happy she's keeping us readers fed. I'm fully in my second chance romance era, and Change of Hart was *chef's kiss*. I loved getting to know Denny and Blair and their story. Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Change of Hart is definitely for you if you love:
🐎 Small town cowboy romance
🐎 Second chance romance
🐎 Friends to lovers
🐎 Dual POV
🐎 Multiple timelines
🐎 Beautiful family dynamics
🐎 "Good boy" 😉
Make sure you grab Change of Hart (and a box of tissues) today!!
I cannot wait to see what else Bailey Hannah has in store for us!

Denver Wells is so gone for Blair and I ate it up..(but after I cried like 17 times)!
Being back in Wells Ranch was an absolute delight. I love this series, these characters, and of course, this ranch. Hannah does a phenomenal job blending big emotions with humor, love, and support.
Denver and Blair met as teenagers and 14 years later find themselves navigating the hurt and feelings that originally tore them apart and have festered over the years. The maturity and growth within their relationship is second to none. They are both committed to their families and those they love and will let nothing come in and change that.
I will forever be a big fan of female friendships and Bailey Hannah gives this to up in spades with these gals.
Basically, I will never get enough of Wells Ranch!

Another Bailey Hannah book that’s so perfectly penned! The world, the characters—their stories, dynamics and development and the way it all comes together is a reading experience to remember.
Denver and Blair are second chance romance goals and they so deserved the love story that they were given! It was unique, emotional and their story unfolded so beautifully.
Bailey has quickly become a one click author for me and she just keeps getting better and better—I truly adore every ounce of what she puts on paper. Anxious to feast my eyes on book four, as well as, any future books she’s got planned!

4.5/5 stars
Denver and Blair...I have absolutely no words. Starting this book, I knew just from the first couple of pages that I was going to be emo throughout the whole entire time I was reading it. A childhood friends to lovers, second chance romance will always do the trick to put you in your feels, and Bailey Hannah did not disappoint with this one. I think the added layer of having a dual POV really added to the story telling, and you quite couldn't put this book down the minute you started. The romance between Denver and Blair was inevitable and getting to read how their feelings first started to them trying to find their way back to one another pulled at the heartstrings way more than I'd like to admit.
Denver, our reformed playboy. I loved how the author conveys his character development throughout the book. From being hopeless for losing his first love to the biggest, clingiest golden retriever that steps up to the plate, it was honestly great to see him pining for Blair all over again and reflecting on his past actions. He's not perfect, but he was perfect for her, and it was SOOO obvious (in the best way) how much he knew he was right for her just like he knew how much she was right for him. They complimented each other so well that I was rooting for this playboy turned simp to make sure he didn't mess this up a second time around.
And, while I wouldn't say the fault is entirely on Denver for how things first ended, I understood where Blair was coming from. Being the eldest daughter, having dreams and aspirations (especially coming from a small town), AND dismantling the stereotypical norms, I was so happy reading how much Blair needed that time away from Wells Canyon to "find herself", despite not going 100% as planned. And, with her progression throughout the story, the author did a great job of not ending that self discovery back in Vancouver but continuing back at home where she knew Blair needed to be to finish figuring out who exactly she is and what she wants.
As a lover of a second chance romance, I could be 100% bias because that trope will always be my fav, but even if we were to take that out as the main focus, I think the author really did a great job of adding on different layers to the story. From mental health rep to handling all forms of grief to even the community aspect of the story you get through glimpses of family and friends, this story had additional layers that were addressed so seamlessly into the romance of Denver and Blair. And, while romance stories, of course, may not be 100% accurate with how we handle things in real life compared to fiction, I couldn't think of a better way for how Denver and Blair found their way back to one another through everything they've been through.
I could probs go on about how much this book was just UIEGHIUREHGR so good and UGH don't get me started on the spicy scenes. BUT, I think it would literally end up being a novella just from what I have to say.
In short, if you love a second chance, childhood friends to lover with the spiciest scenes, this book is for you. You wanna have your heartstrings pulled? Read this book. You want to see a girl discover herself and ask for help while a man wants to be the biggest simp after realizing what he lost? THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!!
Thank you to the publisher and the author for the eARC! I love sharing my opinions with others, and if you read this book, I hope to read yours as well!

Seeing Denny so steadfast in his love for Blair no matter what life threw their way melted my heart as an independent girlie.
Watching Blair learn to lean on Denny again with everything currently going on in her life & with their relationship history reminded me that even the most independent girlies deserve their Good Boys.

I have been so excited for Blair and Denny’s story and it did not disappoint!
From the sweet moments of two kids falling in love to their journey back together as adults, and all the life moments in between, Change of Hart had me hooked!
Friends to lovers and second chance are two of my favorite tropes and they worked so beautifully together in this book. I loved seeing the friendship and relationship that Blair and Denny had growing up and how that lead to where they were today. You could see the love and connection that had always been there and them opening themselves back up to that again was so special.
I love Denver Wells! He’s faced so much in his life but continued to show up for his people. I loved seeing how Blair was there for him for so much in the past and how he strived to support her in the present.
Blair was a very relatable character for me and those connections in her personality and family made this book even more special to me. I laughed, cried, and swooned with her as she faced her new reality being back in Wells Canyon and opening herself back up to love.
I absolutely loved experiencing their journey back to each other.

I love Blair and Denny!! 🥹
This is how you do a second chance romance. I loved getting to see them fall in love with each other as teenagers and getting to fall in love with each other all over again as adults. Their love story for sure puts you through it, but they were so swoony!! Denny just wanted to love Blair and they had to build that trust back and it was so beautifully done.
And Blair coming in hot with the “good boy” and making him crawl about took me out 😮💨
I can’t wait for my next trip to Wells Ranch!
Thank you Bailey and NetGalley for this ARC! 🫶🏼

Change of Hart is Book 3 in the Wells Ranch series. It is a heartfelt second chance romance. Blair has to go back home to care for her sick mom, but she’s not just facing family struggles. She also runs into her first love, Denny Wells.
Told in dual timelines, this story is full of emotion, heartache, and healing. Bailey Hannah does a beautiful job capturing what it means to grow, forgive, and fall back in love.

Happy Release Day!

Wow! What a great second chance romance! I’m not a huge lover of second chance romances, but dang, Bailey did this one justice. I loved it!
This is a dual POV and dual timeline. It starts when Denver and Blair are kids. Denver a bronc rider and Blair a barrel racer. It was so sweet to see how these two became friends, family and then first loves. It broke my heart with all the loss and heartache they endured in their young age.
We jumped forward to present time, which is about 14 years later from when they met. Blair, our FMC needed to move back home to help with her mom. She instantly had her walls up. She never thought she’d be back in town. And she had no interest in seeing her Ex. Blair’s life is nothing like she thought it would be. She has the weight of world on her shoulders and she doesn’t like to ask for help. She keeps her walls up and doesn’t want to be a burden to others.
Denver oh Denver. He is ready for her the minute she’s back in this life. Unfortunately, his playboy ways makes it hard for Blair to believe he could truly change. But Denver just keeps showing up. Even when Blair doesn’t ask or expect. Just to help carry her burdens or make her laugh. He puts all his focus on her and their friendship so she can continue to help others around her. His growth is amazing. He was just so determined to show her he was a new man, the perfect man for her.
There are a few heavy topics discussed in this book, so please check trigger warnings. I thought Bailey did a great job navigating this topics. It was great to see Denver and Blair talk about the tough things and discuss past hurts which were still hurting them both. They finally were able to get the closure they needed to move forward.
The chemistry they had was amazing. From first love, to rediscovering each other after 14 years. The way this man grovels for her 😮💨.
Overall a great book! I was happy to be back in Wells Ranch. The spice was great. The characters had great growth and they truly never stopped loving each other.
Thank you Dell Romance, Bailey Hannah and NetGallery for the ARC! This is my honest review.

Thank you Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review. This series just keeps getting better with this emotional second chance romance. This story is so real and raw with this relatable story of Blair having to return to her hometown to take care of her sick mother. Returning home brings back a lot of memories including getting her heart broken by Denver years ago. Seeing their love story unfold with bringing up the good and bad of the past, helped them focus on what to do different for a stronger foundation.

This was my favorite book of the series, oh. My. God. I’m a FEEN for second chance romances and this did not disappoint. I got super excited to find out that this book would be about Denver and Blair after getting their lil crumbs in Seeing Red. Their love is so beautiful and raw and real. Watching them fall in love as kids was so cute and the conflict that breaks them apart actually HURT. The realness of that journey made me appreciate the writing because I FELT things. When we see Blair come back to town, she’s a changed woman. She’s stronger, and more sure of herself (and a dirty talker in bed, like GIRL) and that makes me like her so much! Denver is the definition of “it was always you” and I can’t stop gigging over this man. He might be the superior Wells brother, like he’s it.
I cannot wait for the next book later this year, praying I get an ARC because I just know it’s going to be sweet and tender but spicy and full of raw emotions.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dell for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

There’s not much I love more than second chance, but throw in childhood friends to lovers and you’ve basically got me hooked. This book was no exception!
Denny and Blair were worth the wait! I loved getting their backstory through flashbacks. I also loved getting to meet Mama Wells and getting a deeper insight into what the boys went through.
I laughed. I cried several times. I empathized with Denny’s loss, and I felt Blair’s struggles with her mom, both on a personal level. I pretty much experienced all the emotions with this one!
If you haven’t started this series yet, this is your sign! But be warned…you’ll probably need some merch once you do! See what I chose on slide 3! 😍
Expect:
💙 Childhood friends to lovers
💙 Second chance
💙 Dual timeline
💙 No present-day breakup
Thank you to Dell Romance and Random House for a physical arc and earc of this book. All opinions are my own and voluntarily given.

I hadn’t read anything by Bailey Hannah before this book. I was absolutely floored by this book. I wanted more before it had even ended. I am going back to read book one and two in this series.
This is a second-chance romance masterpiece!! It was equal parts raw, tender, and achingly beautiful. I was hooked from the first page all the way to the very last page. I was completely invested in Denver and Blair’s story.
Blair was my girl!! Her journey from teen to womanhood was so real. Completely relatable and deeply emotional. Her growth, her grief, her strength was something I loved. Denver is a cinnamon roll cowboy through and through. He didn’t like Blair at first and once he gave in, she was obsession with her. My heart broke for him and with him. So many emotions in this book. I felt every bit of it.
This is told in dual POV + dual timeline. Which I loved! I loved seeing them as kids and as adults. This book truly had it all. It was everything I want in a romance story.
Denver and Blair are soulmates. There is no question about it.
Thank you Bailey Hannah and NetGalley for this eARC.

I stayed up late reading this one! Im super picky when it comes to contemporary cowboy romances since a lot of MMC’s can feel like caricatures of themselves. Bailey Hannah continues to break that mold though with her more complex and well-written MMCs. Im a sucker for second chance romances and this one was heartfelt. I also appreciate that she veered away from the 3rd act breakup trope. Highly recommend Change of Hart as it did not disappoint!

Blair and Denver were high school sweethearts and haven’t seen each other since their breakup almost 14 years ago. When her mother is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s, Blair moves back to Wells Canyon to help care for her. Denver wants a second chance for their relationship and sets out to capture Blair's heart again, but she's reluctant to trust him. Seems he has quite the playboy reputation, now.
This second chance, cowboy romance is the third book in the Wells Ranch series. There are two timelines, past and present, both told from Blair and Denver’s first person points of view. Hannah does a great job keeping us wondering what caused the breakup years ago, until truth is finally revealed.
I loved that Blair is tall, just under six feet. This is refreshing given how many petite female main characters there are in romance novels. As always, Hannah does a great job describing the sights and sounds and smells of Wells Canyon, making the small town setting come alive.
I didn’t want to like Denver, but he’s darned irresistible trying to win Blair back.
Thanks to Dell Books and NetGalley for providing an ARC copy!

This book was a second chance, high school sweethearts romance that was done correctly. There is a dual timeline that flashes back between Blair and Denver’s high school relationship to their present day one, and the way it was done and spaced out through the book was perfect. There was also some really good mental health representation between both Blair and Denver that was again done very well and appreciate.
