The slow burn to the second chance was 🫠

However, the more I read (and it is an easy read), the more I realised the magic was again missing for me. The third act break up was a blink and miss it moment. While a speedy resolution is most appreciated, there was a definite overreaction in the first place (imo). The final chapter is a beautiful ending to the series though 🥹

Overall, I liked it, and have no regrets, but the first two in the series are definitely my favourites.

I really have loved everything Lyla Sage has ever published, and Dusty and Cam were no different. Their chemistry and banter had my heart from the start and, up until 75% in I was sure this would be a 5 star read. Unfortunately, the third act felt extremely rushed. I wish we’d had more of a chance to see Cam and Dusty’s second chance at being in love, but it felt so much like a build up to a quick finish.

What a great ending to a brilliant debut series by Lyla Sage!

I loved every book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series, with Wild and Wrangled being on of my favourites

Lyla's writing is easy to read and addictive, she does family dynamics and relationships incredibly well

Dusty and Cam's story was sweet and spicy, humorous and heartfelt, plus both light and heavy. It was a perfect mix

I highly recommend lovers of small town romance, second chance and brother's best friend give it a read

Is there anything Lyla Sage cannot do. The second I see her name on a book I have to have it and this was no different. Dusty is the epitome of down bad. The way Lyla writes these characters and their emotions is truly insane and makes you feel 100% more invested in their lives. I’m devastated this is the last Rebel Blue book but can’t wait to see what she does next! Best believe I’ll be first in line!

This was by far my favourite book of the Rebel Blue series - I adore Cam and Dusty! I flew through this one as Lyla writes with such ease that it’s hard not to get lost in her storyline’s but now I wish I had savoured it a little more as it was our last time in Meadowlark 🥲 I loved the flashback chapters and really enjoyed learning more about Cam and Dusty’s relationship which made the present day chapters even more amazing. A definite must read!

💖Wild & Wrangled🤠

This is the fourth and final instalment of the Rebel Blue Ranch series and it did not disappoint.

Dusty has gone straight to the top of my favourite book boyfriends that’s for sure.

Second chance love with flashbacks to their initial meeting and friendship turned relationship in high school - the love notes 🥰.

I think what was done really well in this one was the everlasting love thing. They had IT and they thought it was forever but they kept getting doubt and cynicism from around them; they were young, they had their own dreams etc, cracks formed and their love fell through them for a while.

I’m still to read the first of this series but so far I think this was my favourite and I really liked this little town.

✨Thank you @netgalley for an ARC of this one✨

This novel was everything I could’ve wanted to finish the rebel blue ranch series. I absolutely loved the relationship between Dusty and Camille, as their shared childhood love came back to test them. I’m not usually one for a second chance romance, but this was written so well, that I felt lost in my usual distaste for the trope.
Wild and wrangled was an emotional read, but it also felt like a warm hug. I’ll be sad to say goodbye to rebel blue, but I am oh so happy I visited.

Lyla Sage truly saved the best for last 😌 This second chance romance was perfect, it was full of longing and angst which made it impossible to put down! Dusty and Cam’s story was beautiful, and watching them find their way back to each other after so many years was so special 🥹

I’m definitely going to miss this small town and especially the found family 😩 It was the perfect ending to the Rebel Blue Ranch series!

Firstly happy release to this incredible book and what is the official conclusion of the Rebel Blue Series.

I seriously didn't think this series could get any better atter
Lost and Lassoed but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I adored this one. Cam and Dusty have my entire heart
This was such a breeze to read honestly and I loved everything about it. Learning about Cam was magical and Dusty is the sweetest cowboy l've ever read about.
I loved getting glimpses into their past relationship and finding out how they got to where they are now so much.
Overall this felt like the perfect ending to a beautiful series and one I can't wait to visit again soon in a reread
What you can expect:
• Second Chance Romance
• single parent
• Cinnamon Bun MMC
• small town romance
• cowboy romance

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL END TO THIS SERIES!!!

I love a second chance romance, and Dusty and Cam provided all the yearning and longing I needed from this. It was so nice to be back at Rebel Blue, and I love the interactions we got with all the previous couples and of course Amos and Riley. I am obsessed with all the little moments between Dusty and Cam - him going to her soccer games, the chilli's date, THE TATTOOS! THE LETTERS!! real yearning is so back!!!

There were such tender moments between Dusty and Cam, and I loved that we got to see their friendship and relationship grow in both present and past. These two were always meant for each other <3

The only thing I was a little disappointed by was that I would've loved to see more Riley, especially her and Dusty - he was not just becoming a family with Cam but also with Riley, and while I loved the moments we did get of the two of them I would've loved to see the three of them interacting, and seeing that family dynamic much like we saw in Lost and Lassoed with Teddy, Gus and Riley - it would've been interesting to see how Dusty forms his own special bond with Riley and also how the three of them would work as a family unit.

Overall, I loved this story and was so pleased with this book - it was the perfect couple to end with in my opinion, and I loved the bonus and seeing Emmy and Luke's wedding; it all felt so full circle.

I have loved every single book in this series and Dusty and Cam’s book is no different. I absolutely loved their story and getting to see them reconnect in this second chance romance!

This was the perfect send off to a series that’s carved out a soft spot in my heart. Lyla Sage gave us a finale that felt like coming home, filled with laughter, love, and just the right amount of bittersweet.

Out of all four, this one might just be my favorite. There’s something so satisfying about watching each character’s arc wrap up in a way that feels true to them,no loose ends, just growth, healing, and connection, and spice, ofc.

From small town charm to heartfelt moments that sneak up on you, this book had it all. The setting pulled me in, the characters made me stay, and the ending left me with that rare feeling of being full *and* at peace.

If you’ve followed this series from the beginning, this finale won’t just meet your expectations-it’ll exceed them.

Wild and Wrangled was such a delightful way to wrap up the Rebel Blue Ranch/Meadowlark crew. I actually feel a little lost now because these characters felt like home. Lyla Sage created a great world filled with wonderful, loving characters, and this book was the perfect way to complete the series.

I've been waiting (im)patiently for Cam and Dusty's story since the beginning, and I think Sage did a great job delivering their tale. I loved seeing more of their history pre-W&W (because this is a second-chance romance), and I adored seeing the two together now.

The only thing I was a little iffy about (and I think this with every second-chance romance, to be honest) is that the reason for their initial break-up was a little frustrating. I wanted to reach into the book and shake them both because they were clearly perfect for each other, and their high-running emotions/lack of communication got the best of them.

But, thankfully, they were able to work through things now, and I think having the rest of the friend group there helped. Both Dusty and Cam were able to gather some much-needed outside perspective to sort through their issues and come out better for it.

Overall, Lyla Sage is a fantastic author, and I, for one, can't wait to see what she brings out next.

Disclaimer: I received an ARC.

Lyla smashes it out of the park once more.

I’m not one who enjoys the trope of ‘friends to lovers’ (I say this loosely), but I was really enraptured from the beginning of this book.

Cam and Dusty had me feeling too many emotions, mostly giddy and happy, and for that I am thankful (mostly because I was concerned how I would enjoy this book).. The relationship felt strongly developed and their romance/relationship felt authentic, considering their history and how tumultuous the beginning of the book was.

I am thankful to the publisher for allowing me early access to another Lyla Sage title, and I look forward to reviewing more of her work to come.

Man, I really wish this was book 3 and not book 4 in the series - I felt like it was a disservice to Cam & Dusty's story to have them follow up Teddy & Gus.

Book 3 is where the series peaked for me - so with book 4, I was expecting something that would have to be arguably better that Teddy and Gus' story, and although it was cute - it just didn't get there for me.

Let's break it down:

Firstly, we just don't have the same emotional connection to Cam and Dusty that we do for the Ryders - as both are secondary characters; Dusty especially only appearing briefly in books 2 and 3. Choosing to end the series with lesser known characters; despite how cute they are together, felt like the wrong move for me personally.

I really struggled with Cam as a character - she wasn't relatable and I found her story, albeit it sad, a bit underwhelming and frustrating. And although I ADORED Dusty, and I did enjoy the second chance love trope - she just kind of brought the vibe down for me.

If it had been book 3, I think I would've been a bit more forgiving, but my expectations were sky high after Lost & Lassoed and I can't help but think how much better received both books would've been if the order had been switched.

All in all, I did enjoy the Rebel Blue Ranch series. For the most part, the books and stories got better as they went on.

Thank you so much Hachette Australia for the eARC copy of this book!

Eeek! Love love love the dedication!!

I have been so excited for Cam and Dusty’s story after getting snippets in past books! IDC what anyone says I love a blonde mmc! Dusty honestly sounded so cool and how he was with Teddy in the last one - I knew he had to be amazing in this and boy was I right!

Dusty stole my heart! I have a soft spot for him and West 🥹 His words and the way he expresses them to Cam brought me to my knees! The build up of tension and then the spice hitting was perfect! The inner thoughts of Dusty and Cam made me feel so much more connected to their story than the other characters! I related to Cam so much with motherhood and wanting the best for your child! The heart ache and emotional pull that I got in this book is what I felt was missing from the other books!! I loved all the letters and flashbacks 🥰

So beautifully written! I’m sad that this was the last book of Rebel Blue 🥹 Thank you Lyla for creating this world! The meddling from Amos Ryder, the connections and intertwining of all the characters and the dysfunctional but beautiful family around Riley is truly heart-warming! The perfect cowboy romance comfort series!

Thank you so so much to NetGalley and Hatchette Australia & NZ for the eARC! Adding this to my fave comfort reads 🥹

truly the most bittersweet goodbye for my Meadowlark loves - the end scenes had me tearing up because I've truly loved the journey through these four books & getting to know Rebel Blue Ranch (yes I AM hopping on a plane to Wyoming asap).

Following Cam & Dusty in the last book was incredibly sweet - Dusty made me understand that it is possible to love a blond man (who would have thought??) and watching them unpack their history together and grow was a true joy.

All in all, this was such a solid way to wrap up the series! I would have loved to have gotten more time with Dusty and Cam, as there were moments, particularly towards the end, where it felt quite rushed, but I still loved being back home at Rebel Blue.

“I knew nothing or nobody actually could be perfect, especially not me. But with Dusty, I felt pretty close to it.”

Reading Wild and Wrangled was bitter sweet. I have come to know and love these characters and it is an end to an era. Cam and Dusty were the perfect pair to end the series with.

The angst between these two people was palpable. I could not stop reading because I wanted to know what happened years ago, why did they break up, and how will they move past it so they can both be happy?

I honestly screamed when I received the email from netgalley on a Friday afternoon. So my weekend was fully booked. I finished it 48 hours later and shed a little tear.

“You’re a privilege, Cam. Being in your presence is a goddamn honor.”

I'm not very partial to blonde mmc's but in Ada's words “You don’t have a neck tattoo and a nose piercing and not be good. And don’t even get me started on his little cropped T-shirts.”

Thank you to hachette aus and netgalley for the review copy and to lyla sage for creating not just a perfect book but honestly a series i want to reread over and over again.
