I’m a huge fan of this series and I absolutely loved this one too.
My favourite is still Lost and Lassoed, then Done and Dusted.. followed by this one.
But still rated 4 stars! Loved the main characters story. The letters, the flashbacks! Beautiful.

"I'll love you until we're dust in the wind"
THEMES
First love and first heartbreak
Single mum x wandering man
New beginnings
Found family
He's only ever had eyes for her
"I liked that I was going to be his first and he was going to be mine. My last, too. I knew it."
I've been waiting for Dusty and Cam's story ever since Dusty gatecrashed girl's night! Another beautiful Rebel Blue story, and hopefully not the last

Wild and Wrangled was absolutely perfect, not only as a book itself but to end this amazing Rebel Blue Ranch series. I think Cam and Dusty are my favorite characters throughout the series, their connection is so deep and beautiful you can feel everything the pain, the heartache and the love that is written in this book. Their story spans decades everything they went through brought them to this and it was well worth the wait.

This book is 4.5 tattoos! A&T
Lyla Sage gets stronger and stronger as she writes. Shes built this adorable little town of Meadowlark with all its foibles and quirks. It is a place that is so deeply imbued with characters that have heart, you can tell Sage loves what she writes about. You feel like in the descriptions of Wyoming and in the relationships between her characters.
Is this a perfect book? No, but it gets close. Cam/Ash is believable as a single mum doing her best to break the cycle she grew up enduring but maybe getting lost along the way and Dusty is a dream as the first love who slipped away but was never truly lost.
World building is an area that Sage excels in and it’s on clear display in this fourth installment of the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Whether you are traversing the valleys and peaks of Rebel Blue or cozying up Cam’s beautiful rental home with her and Riley, who know the nooks and crannies and you love it all.
What shines brightest on this book:
- Amos, as always is the dad we all wish we had
- Riley is adorable and Cam and her bond is A+
- Dusty, sexiest man in the series?!
- The ease in which Sage flicks between past and present (something I don’t normally think authors do very well)
- Dusty’s bond with Riley and his excitement to co parent her alongside Cam, Gus and Ted.
Bonus points for the extra about Emmy and Brooks’ wedding. Does Brooks wear one of his homemade muscle tees to his wedding? You’ll have to read to see.

Okay, how gorgeous is this cover???
Wild and Wrangled is the fourth, and final, book in the interconnected stand-alone rebel blue ranch series. It was the perfect ending for the series, even though I'm so sad it's over!! I loved seeing all the other characters from the previous books, and the bonus chapter made me shed a little tear!
The story starts off strong with Camille drowning her sorrows at the bar after being left at the alter, and Dusty drowning his sorrows at the bar because the love of his life is getting married. Camille asks Dusty to take her somewhere, and we get a gorgeous story filled with longing and tension and angst. Dusty is absolutely obsessed with Camille (and I am absolutely obsessed with Dusty!!!)
I'm SO fussy when it comes to second chance romances, and this is one of my favourites ever. We get flashbacks from when Cam and Dusty were dating in high-school, and I loved seeing the changes in both Cam and Dusty from the past and present timelines. We get letter writing (I am a sucker for letters) and unsent letters (I am an even being sucker for unsent letters). We also get the single mum trope, and, of course, small town. There's also a little bit of forced proximity and we get a great "only one hotel room" scene!!
The only reason this isn't a five star read is I wanted a little bit more after the third act conflict and the ending felt a little abrupt. (The gorgeous bonus chapter did make up a little for this though!)
I had so much fun reading this, thank you to Netgalley and Hachetteanz for this arc!
(Will post a review on tiktok closer to release @tamsbookshelf)

The last book of the Rebel Blue Ranch Series - Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage
I screamed when I got the approval for this ARC! I love love loveee this Series so much and I don’t want it to end so it was bittersweet, what a great way to wrap it all up, not just Cam and Dusty’s story but for everyone else too.
Cam and Dusty you have my heart! We must protect them at all costs.
I love the way Lyla has incorporated so much emotion into this story - yearning, hope and deep connection. The story jumps between the past and present and usually this can confuse me or feel clunky but it was done perfectly!

Thankyou so much to Hachette Aus, The Bookish Type, Netgalley and Lyla Sage for an eARC
This book releases on 15 April

Such a good ending to the series. It’s hard knowing one of your comfort series is ending but I’m glad Cam & Dusty got their HEA. The bonus chapter wrecked me, it was so beautiful and such a good addition. Cam & Dusty might just be my new favourite couple in Rebel Blue Ranch (sorry Teddy). The jump between past and present didn’t feel unnecessary, and gave so much depth to the characters. Also loved the addition of the letters! Second chance romance hits different, fifteen years of pent up tension didn’t disappoint (that bathroom scene, my god!). Will forever be upset there aren’t more Dusty Tuckers in the world. New favourite book boyfriend unlocked! Until the next re-read, Rebel Blue Ranch 🩵
• small town romance
• Friends to lovers
• Second chance romance
• Single mom
• Forced proximity

I am so not ready to accept that this series is over !!
I loved Cam and Dusty’s story and how they found their way back to each other. I especially loved how well the flashbacks were written and how they were interwoven in the right spots. The way Cam and Dusty’s characters matured from teenagers for adults was so well written and I loved the tidbits of Cam that Riley was showing as she grew in the book.
I will say that at times it felt like not much was happening/parts that’s didn’t feel finished and this did result in me dropping to 4 stars.
I adored the bonus chapter so so much. It felt like the series was tied together in a neat bow and that was so special.
Lyla, I cannot wait to see where you go next. I haw adored this series. Rebel Blue ranch will always feel like home.

My Rating: 4.50⭐️
What I Loved:
🐴 Found Family
🌆 Second Chance
🐴 Cowboy Romance
🌆 Close Proximity
🐴 “it’s always been her”
Wow. Lyla Sage has finished the Rebel Blue Ranch series with a bang. This book is so dang sweet, featuring the characters we know and love from earlier books in this series.
Dusty Tucker knows a few things, most surround his first love Cam, and how to pine for her… and boy-oh-boy does he do that well. He is emotionally available, and just down right gorgeous (inside and out).
One of my favourite parts of a second chance romance is having flashbacks between the present and the past when the couple were together. Lyla Sage excelled at this. I absolutely adored the notes Dusty wrote for Cam. I will say though, I wish Dusty had a better nickname…
The amount of growth Cam goes through in this book was incredible. Where she slowly realises that her vulnerability isn’t a weakness and she deserves true love, from her partner AND from family- urgh had me on the floor.
Wild and Wrangled is the fourth and final (😢) book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series, and can be read as a standalone, however to get the full emotional punch, and understanding of the characters I’d recommend starting with Done and Dusted and going from there.
This series is for lovers of rugged cowboys, small-town romance, and found family 💕

THE MAN THAT YOU ARE DUSTY MF TUCKER!
“You’re wrong, angel, I fucking love being on my knees for you”
I am obsessed with a blonde MMC, this is something you’ll never catch me saying again. This is how you do a second chance romance 😮💨
Perfect amount of flirting, banter and real world serious talk.
Lyla Sage this book is incredible. The way that Dusty and Cams story unfolds through the years, the little flashbacks AND THE LETTERS. MY HEART. ❤️
“I’ll love you until we’re dust, Camille Ashwood”

Oh how I love a forced proximity and friends to lovers trope!! Cam and Dusty were meant to be together. It felt like fate when all the stars aligned and brought them both to where they were supposed to be after 15 years apart. This romance was playful it was comforting and it was full of years of yearning for eachother even when they tried to convince themselves it was nothing. If you haven’t read the series then it will be hard to wrap your head around the “new” characters but every character had a place a personality and a purpose in this book that just made sense trust me ( I would definitely recommend reading the books before this one in the series!!) This romance was truly beautiful and my eyes were full of tears all throughout the book. And the spice… the spice is another level. I was so wrapped up in their love for eachother and for their families this is definitely a 5 star read and I know you guys will enjoy it too!!

Camille and Dusssssssssty! My favourite couple and my favourite book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. They've both made several appearances throughout the first three Rebel Blue Ranch books, and there's been a lot of hints and nods towards their history together. I was super excited to get stuck into their story properly.
The story alternates the flashbacks and the previous history with the present, and as we get further along in the story, we get closer to finding out the full story between Camille and Dusty. We get a little more information into Cam's beautiful daughter as well, who has been a reoccurring character in the four books. The structure of this book was excellent and I enjoyed every second of it.
The epilogue was beyond perfect and wrapped up everything across the book and the series. Such a satisfying end to one of my favourite series.
This book has the below:
- Second chance romance
- Found family
- Epic love
- Small town romance
- Forced proximity
High recommend picking up the Rebel Blue Ranch series!

Never thought I'd be hot for a blonde MMC with a nose ring but here we are! I'm a Gus girlie through and through but God dang I have no complaints for a tatted up cowboy who's down bad and hung-up on his high school sweetheart. Most woman go feral for a "your mine" but for me it's "Atta girl" and mix that with Dusty's flirty banter and the way he call's her "Angel" you'll be swooning too. Angel has never been a pet name I've loved but somehow with Dusty saying it - I'm all for it. Lyla nailed the dual timeline. It was woven throughout the story so beautifully you felt engaged in both their past and their present.
I love how Dusty understands and gets Cam like no one else does, how he was the only one who knew what she needed after being left high and dry on her wedding day and how he knows when to push and when to back off. I loved that we got to see inside that head of Cam's and understand exactly why she is how she is. I loved that even though they spent so many years apart there was still that tether within both of them keeping that longing and yearning alive.
Another thing I loved about Wild and Wrangled is that you can see the progression and evolution in Lyla's writing since book one. It feels special because it's like the reader has also been on this exciting new journey with the Author and we have grown through her books alongside her.
AND the bonus chapter!! This needs its own review because I sobbed. It is so sweet and wholesome and the way it ties all four books and the Ryder family together is pure perfection. Lyla nailed this and was the perfect way to wrap up our time at Rebel Blue Ranch.

4.5/5 stars!
Dusty Tucker, THE MAN THAT YOU ARE. I knew I was going to be obsessed with Cam and Dusty, and I was absolutely right. Their history, their chemistry, their future - I was here for all of it.
This book had everything I wanted: second-chance romance, undeniable tension, and the kind of emotional depth that makes you feel every moment. Lyla Sage truly knows how to craft a love story that sticks with you.
A huge thank you to @hachetteaus and @thebookishtype_hau for the opportunity to read this ARC - this series has my whole heart, and Wild and Wrangled was no exception!

DUSTY TUCKER THE MAN THAT YOU ARE. I will protect this man at all costs. I’m utterly obsessed with him!
I just love how much Dusty loves Cam even after all the years they’ve been apart and watching these two high school sweethearts find their way back to one another was everything. I’m going to sob just thinking about it.
This one goes from past and present so you get to see flashbacks of what their relationship was like all those years ago and I just loved getting more of their history and seeing how much of a connection these two had.
I’m so sad that this is the end of rebel blue ranch but what a beautiful way to finish out the series the best was definitely saved for last and I’m going to miss this town and these characters.

First off, can we just say how beautiful this cover is? The entire series themed covers and art style? GORGEOUS!
I was super excited for Cam and Dusty's story after getting that teaser in Lost and Lassoed, and absolutely loved the yearning and the pining slow burn...up until the 65-70% ish mark then it went downhill for me.
Things I loved:
- Dusty, his tattoos, his story, his whole character. He had a lot more depth than Cam.
- The back and forth story between their past and present.
- Second Chance Romance
- The epilogue
- Dusty's magic fingers
Things I didnt like:
- Lack of movement through the book
- The reason for their breakup was very anticlimatic
- Cam; the fiestyness and she power from the first books - where was she? We got a watered down version not the boss power babe I loved.
- Third Act WE DID NOT NEED THIS AND CHUCKING IT IN FOR SHITS AND GIGS RUINED THE BOOK.
- The family approval at the end felt...too much
I did like most of the book, but I didnt love it. Sadly, it felt the same with the first 3 as well - I liked aspects of each book but they were all just ok not great reads.

Firstly I want to thank NetGalley for this ARC opportunity!
Lyla you have done it yet again! This is the last book in the Rebel Blue Series and as sad as I am that it is ending, this book was such an amazing one to end on. Cam and Dusty are forever in my heart. I have been waiting for their story since I first knew it was gonna happen!
This story follows Cam Ashwood as she navigates her life after being left at the alter by her parent-approved fiancé. She ends up running into her high school ex boyfriend, who knows exactly how to comfort her, leave town for a bit, get out of her head. Having to find a house to live in now, she is beyond excited to find out that her favourite house as a teen is available to rent, only to find out her neighbour will be Dusty Tucker, and he has spent the last 15 years running away.
- Second Chance Romance
- Single Mum
- Cowboy Romance
- Found Family
- Small Town Romance
I was obsessed with how this was written. I loved seeing little glimpse of their past and shared history, especially those significant ones! It just shows that sometimes love doesn’t leave, it only gets stronger, even after the challenges they faced. And to have Cam find not only her love again, but having her have a family that love her as one of them is amazing.
Firstly let’s talk about our girl Cam! I have loved Cam since the first time we met her, seeing little snippets of her in the other books. I have absolutely loved seeing her story come to life in this story. Seeing her become the woman she is now. She spent her life living by others and finally we get to see her release and make her life her own. Cam has always been fierce but seeing her softer side was so good.
Dusty! The man that you are ohhh lord! Dusty is by far my favourite MMC of the series! I just loved that he was so patient and understanding towards everyone but especially Cam. Dusty as a teenager is every book girlies dream, and he took those attributes with him to adulthood. He understood why they didn’t work all those years ago and that is such a strong aspect of him that I loved.
As always, I recommend this series! I will always read a Lyra book! I loved seeing past characters come back, adding into their wonderful story.

Lyla, you’ve crafted such a beautiful world with Rebel Blue Ranch! It’s a town where the men are incredibly swoon-worthy, and the women unite to create a tight-knit community that anyone would want to be a part of. Wild and Wrangled is no different Dusty is a walking green flag and Camille is fierce!!
Dusty Tucker is chef's kiss perfection! He’s patient, commanding, and utterly irresistible. The way their love story unfolds, with glimpses of their shared history, is truly heartwarming. It's the kind of love that endures, no matter the challenges, and the letters were such a sweet touch—teenage Dusty was absolutely adorable!
The sense of found family is so beautifully woven throughout the story, especially for Camille, whose own family couldn’t give her that support. The previous main characters are so beautifully integrated into the story, adding layers of warmth and connection to the narrative.
Lyla, I’ve loved every minute in this world, and I’m so sad to say goodbye! Please tell me you have more planned because I’m not ready to let go! You’ve become an autobuy author for me, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

DUSTY TUCKER THE MAN THAT YOU ARE!! 🫶🏼 The softest of soft, the sweetest of sweet, my god Dusty you are the sun and the moon and all of the stars 🌞🌖✨
I knew from the sneak peak we got of Cam and Dusty in book 2 that I needed to know more about them and their story and I was NOT disappointed. What a beautiful portrayal of young love navigating life, parents, friends, growing up and moving on.
Dusty is the man you want around in a crisis. He is the man you want around when shit hits the fan. He’s also the man you want around when everything is good. He is the shoulder to cry on and the hype man. and he knows how to communicate 😩
Cam is such a special character. I loved her development, her independence, her work ethic, her relationship with the Ryder’s and Teddy and in particular her daughter Riley. I’m so glad she got her happy ending.
The simplicity of this book is its strength. This is Lyla’s best work hands down now excuse me while I go and reread the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Aus/NZ for a copy of this eARC to review.

3.5 ⭐️
Let me start off by saying how much I absolutely adore this series - the setting, the characters and the found family vibes are unmatched! This book had so many sweet and tender moments to it and i devoured it easily in one afternoon.
This started off well, I was so intrigued to see where the story was going to go from Cam being left at the altar and I from the sprinklings we got of Cam and Dusty in the previous books. I loved the flashbacks and the notes and the slow burn in the present timeline - however I did think that the Cam we saw in this book was not the same Cam from the other books? Her personality was dimmed way down and I thought it was weird that she was basically never with her daughter/her daughter wasn’t even really mentioned for the first chunk of the book?
I also hated the third act conflict, it really knocked the book down a peg for me, it felt really unnecessary and annoying.
I am a bit of a harsh critic on second chance romances, especially when a large amount of time has passed (in this case, 15 years) and I found it hard to believe how in love Dusty still was after all that time but whatever, I loved Dusty and in my eyes he was perfect so I’ll overlook it 😅😂 Dusty was such a sweet, gentle soul and I loved how he helped and formed bonds with so many different people.
Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette for the advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
