this was a strong psychological thriller novel, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed from this type of book. The characters were everything that I wanted in this and had that element that worked in this universe. It was a strong psychological element that I wanted and was engaged with the suspenseful atmosphere that I was hoping for. Bonnie Traymore wrote this well and was glad I got to read this.

I loved this book. It grabbed me from the very first page. I honestly couldn't put it down. A reunion story - sign me up please. I love an unpredictable ending and that's what I got with this one.

I loved this book! The story line and the mystery around the "accidental" death and suicide was really well written. I feel like this book can be so relatable to Reagan's constant second guessing herself and fear that no one will believe her because of her past. I also liked that it had a lot of twists and revelations throughout the book and not just at the end.

The writing is superb! The twists are good and I was guessing how it would end and was still surprised by the ending! The characters are really well developed and I was invested in this from start to finish. I would highly recommend this! Special Thank You to Bonnie Traymore,Pathways Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me to read a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

The Unforgetting is an absolutely all consuming, addictive and highly bingeable psychological thriller. Right from the prologue I was hooked and it only got better from there. It was straight to the point, no fluff type of thriller and I just love those. The atmosphere in this thriller was tense, palpable with a constant building suspense. The past and present tenses made for an engaging read that kept me flipping the pages way past my bedtime. I absolutely needed to know !!!!
One of the highlights in this book is the character development, especially with Reagan. The author makes you doubt her reliability, is she or isn't she reliable? All the characters become untrustworthy at some point. There are some shocking twists while others were a little more obvious, for me it didn't hinder my enjoyment. My only thing is I felt the ending was missing just a little more resolution regarding something, but apart from that it was a solid read!
Overall, this was an absolutely unputdownable, fun and suspenseful ride which I thoroughly enjoyed. I will definitely be on the lookout for more from this author!

The Unforgetting by Bonnie Traymore is an intriguing, mysterious, full of suspense and such a twisty story.
The characterization was superb, the writing pacey and flowing, and the tension delivered in a series of shocks and twists along the way.
This is a tightly written story, with well developed characters and enough suspense to keep you reading.

With a premise centered around a group of childhood friends returning to the site of a haunting death, this story is filled with tension, secrets, and an unforgettable twist that will leave readers stunned.

I generally love Bonnie Traymore books however, this one fell a tad short for me. It was good but didn't blow me away. The story was decent but all in all just an average read.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this arc.

A quick and easy read that was full of tension, suspense and mystery. I finished it very quickly and it was still swilling around my brain for a while afterwards. Would definitely recommend

The Unforgetting was, unfortunately, very forgettable for me. It was a super quick and easy read, and felt very much like a YA book. Though the characters are adults, the way they behave seemed juvenile. Would not recommend as an adult thriller, perhaps as a YA one.

Some buried secrets are better left unearthed. Ten years ago, Reagan’s friend died in a tragic accident. But what if it wasn’t an accident?! Great book! This book had thrilling suspense, murder, mystery, intrigue and a few shocking twists! The story was very interesting! I definitely recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

The Unforgetting was a quick thriller. Reagan has been battling post partum depression. She gets an invite for a reunion with some friends that she hasn't seen since an unfortunate accident at a party years ago that led to the death of another friend in their group. Reagan has little memory of that evening and what little memory she does have comes back in bits and pieces. She decides to attend the reunion to see if it helps jog her memory and fill in the blanks of the night in question. What she comes to realize is that everyone seems to have secrets and the truth may be harder to decipher than she initially thought.
I really wish I could do half stars because honestly, this one was a solid 3.5 for me. I did get an inkling early on in the beginning of the book about certain people being involved in more than they let on and my hunches were correct. That doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the book, it just wasn't necessarily the "twistiest" book I've read lately. I will say that the way it ultimately wrapped up wasn't what I expected at all. My main criticism is just that I didn't really find any of the characters particularly likeable. Nobody was overtly obnoxious or anything but I just couldn't connect with any of the characters and it left a little something lacking for me. Like I said before, a solid 3.5 stars on this one but I'll go ahead and round up to :)
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

This book was very average to me. An interesting story and one I enjoyed, but nothing special. I didn't really relate to any of the characters, they all seemed to be stereotypical character types when reading this type of novel. It was an enjoyable and quick read but nothing really stood out to me. I saw most of the "twists" coming.

The Unforgetting by Bonnie Traymore, unfortunately, fell short of its intriguing premise for me. While the idea of exploring buried secrets and the complexities of guilt has potential, I felt the story was a bit slow and predictable. The protagonist, Reagan, comes across as not particularly relatable, which makes it difficult to invest in her journey of self-discovery. The pacing of the novel is slow, with long passages filled with introspection that could have been more concise. Instead of building suspense, these sections tend to meander, where I felt stuck in the character's spiral of depression without much progression in the plot. The supposed tension surrounding Lanie’s death lacks the impact it should have, as the twists come across as predictable rather than surprising.
While the theme of friendships haunted by a shared tragedy resonates, it often feels like the characters are clichés rather than fully fleshed-out individuals. Additionally, the resolution feels rushed and somewhat unsatisfactory.
Overall, The Unforgetting attempts to tackle heavy themes but gets bogged down by its own narrative flaws.
I seem to be in the minority in rating this book, as other reviews give it 5 stars. I would only rate this book 3 stars as I just could not connect or get over the long expositions or some predictable scenes.

The Unforgetting by Bonnie Traymore is a highly recommended psychological thriller where secrets from the past haunt the present.
Reagan is struggling with postpartum when buried memories from ten years ago are trying to resurface. At a raging party ten years ago her friend Lanie was found the next day dead at the bottom of a ravine. Reagan's memories of the night are blurry because she was wasted and doesn't remember much from that night. But now she feels like she is remembering bits and pieces from the night. Then Ella invites Reagan and others to a gathering of remembrance and healing at her family's cabin in the Adirondacks where the death occurred. Reagan attends with hopes that it will help her recover her memories.
This is a fast-paced, quick read. As one would predict, the reunion is tense and uncomfortable, and the buried memories are disturbing. There isn't a lot of character development beyond that of Reagan, which is perfunctory. The rest of the characters are quickly slotted into their roles into the entertaining but familiar narrative trope.
The good news is that the swift pace, high tension, and low page count will keep your interest high throughout. Thanks to Pathways Publishing for providing me with an advance reader's copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary and expresses my honest opinion. 3.5
The review will be published on Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

This is definitely a book I would have chosen right off the shelf myself. The characters are likeable and the storyline draws you straight in. With so many twists and turns you are always second guessing yourself, which is exactly how I love to be when I’m reading. It’s an easy read that is pretty easy to keep up with without having to recap. I enjoyed the story line and loved the ending. Will definitely recommend To my friends and have already posted on our huge facebook group as a recommendation. Will add to my kindle list once released and leave a review there too. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

This book easily kept my interest. The three stars because I was able to guess most of the end. This did not distract from the story at all though. Looking forward to reading more from this author

A troubled young mother is haunted by lost memories and the mysterious death of a college classmate at a wild party years earlier. Now, when she returns for a tension-filled college reunion, long-buried secrets are uncovered about murder and betrayal that put more people's lives at risk, including her own. A haunting slow burn thriller that heats up to a stunnng ending. Highly recommended.

“The Unforgetting” by Bonnie Traymore completely sucked me in from the very first page. The suspense had me hooked right away, and the pacing kept me turning pages without a second thought. I loved the character development—each person felt so complex and real, which made the emotional stakes feel even higher. The mix of mystery and thrills kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I couldn’t put it down, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good psychological thriller.
