oh Blair.OH Denver. stop it. the both of you. you must not do this to the people reading your story. because we are all in pieces here! wow wow wow. stunned. and not ashamed to say how much this book has my whole heart captured. this is the book us cynics dont want to need but really really do. and when you let yourself read these books it does heal that little place in your heart that needs it.
what a way to write a book too. Bailey you know your stuff, what a talent. im in awe of those with talent like this. just wow.
i ot emotional a fair few times. with many array of emotions.
the book totally takes you in to both past and present of our two loves lives. its lovely to learn of how they were then and how they are now. and the now version, come on guys you two are practically one half of each others souls.
we got the whole scale of emotions from Blair of having to go back home.no choice this time. and how she must at some point face the man that broke her.
and for him. he would be faced with the woman that was his whole world. and still was. then how he worked to get her back. and yes that is ok. its ok for people either side of the sexes to put the work in. because you totally see a future where these two are in total balance of and for each other. but right now yeh. Denny you need to move some mountains, luv. but we all love you so keep going as we are rooting for your two.
the friendships in this book were another huge win.
and how love in all its forms is beautiful. and like this it can take reader right into that beauty and feel it too.

Where do I start. Blair and Denny own my whole heart! Second chance, high school sweethearts, SECRET TATTOO?! I could go on with how many of my favorite tropes are in this book! Such an emotional read, I cried quite a few times but couldn’t put the book down to save my life. Such a journey to get to their HEA, but so worth it. Denny pulled out all the stops to get his girl back, and I just kept falling in love with him! Also, Blair’s journey to letting him in and trusting again was so relatable and touching!

💕 Blair & Denver

I'm not typically the biggest fan of the second chance trope, but this book may have changed that!

Blair and Denver's story gripped me from the start. There are some seriously HEAVY topics in this book, and I had to take breaks throughout. Watching these characters navigate through their pain and ultimately find their way back to each other truly moved me.

I adored being back in Wells Ranch. This series has my heart and what a gift it has been with NetGalley and the publisher allowing me access to this ARC. One of my most anticipated reads for this year and I got access, how insane is that!? ,y life is made.

Blair and Denver are something else - they gave ME butterflies.

Blair returns to Wells Canyon for her sick mother. She comes back to be there for her mum and dad given her mums diagnosis. This was very hard hitting. I cried multiple times reading this. It was emotional yet absolutely beautiful to read.

I adored Denver. He was so patient, kind and so damn caring! However, the smut was abso-freakin’-lutely smutting (IYKYK) and wow 🥵🥵🥵 Speechless!

Bailey Hannah, what do you put in your books, hot dang girl!

This was absolutely beautiful, emotional and one of the best love stories I’ve read in a long time. The differing POV and also going between Denver and Bairs past… childhood lovers who broke up, moved on (kinda) and now are rekindling their love and romance.

I will remember Blair and Denver for a long time. Can’t wait for you all to read it! Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and Bailey Hannah for allowing me access to this ARC.

It pains me to rate this so low as I absolutely loved the first two, however this one just didn't hit the same for me. I do love a second chance romance but I just couldn't feel the chemistry between Denny and Blair - it was all so fast paced and rushed. Denny definitely carried the book for me, I didn't feel that Blair had that much of a personality that allowed me to connect with her. I can't say I cared for the flashbacks either as a lot of them didn't really bring anything to the main plot line and could've just been explained better through conversations in the present. However all this being said, it was the perfect palette cleanser and it was lovely to be back at Wells Canyon.

There's a reason Bailey Hannah is one of my favourite cowboy romance authors. Her ability to write realistic stories that make you feel is phenomenal. Change of Hart was so beautifully written that I felt the characters emotions. All the scenes with Denny's mom made me bawl, the challenges Blair faced and their inevitable break up made me cry so hard, and their second chance made me so happy and giddy. The character development Blair and Denny go through is also fantastic. Through a dual timeline, we see two adults working through the challenges they faced as teens. And while their more mature now, they support and understood why they didn't last then. Blair and Denny are one of my favourite book couples, and definitely my favourite Wells Grey couple. Thank you Bailey Hannah and Orion publishing for giving me this arc in exchange for my honest review!

Denny and Blair have my heart! I thoroughly enjoyed Change of Hart. All the angst and tension between these two was so palpable and so was their love.

I went through an avalanche of emotions while reading this book. These two were the definition of soulmates. I really enjoyed the back and forth in the timelines; it gave us their backstory and made their road ro finding each other again that much sweeter.

If you are looking for a second chance romance that will make you smile, believe in love and maybe even make you cry, Change of Hart is definitely one to read. I absolutely recommend!

This series just keeps getting better with each book! Change of Hart pulled me in from the start with Denver and Blair’s incredible chemistry. Their connection felt so real and electric, and I was totally invested in seeing them find their way back to each other.

I’m not usually a big fan of second chance romances, but when they’re done right, they really work—and this one did. What really pulled me in were the flashbacks. Seeing the beginning of their love story unfold while also learning where things went wrong made their reunion so much more impactful. It added layers of emotion and context that made me root for them even harder.

While there were a few moments that felt a bit drawn out, overall this was a compelling, emotional read that delivered both heartache and hope in all the right places. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series.

I have to start this review with a huge thank you to NetGalley, Orion and Bailey Hannah for making my entire year with this arc 🤭 Not to be dramatic but no one writes cowboys like Bailey does, the Wells Ranch series is by far my favourite cowboy romance series of all time - so if you haven’t read it… well what the hell are you doing? Go now!

Okay so Change of Hart; second chance isn’t my favourite trope but THIS is how you do it 👏🏻 There was no pointless third act breakup, no messing around once Denny and Blair came back together, just pure cuteness and rebuilding 🙂‍↕️ I bloody loved it.

👩🏻 Blair - this woman is incredible, with so much on her plate (moving back to Wells Canyon, looking after her poorly mum, working, helping Cass out with baby Hazel, helping her sister out with Jonas, the list is endless). After the huge and heartbreaking decision she made when her and Denny were together as teens, I’m so glad she got her happily ever after. She’s a badass… with a filthy mouth 👄✨

👨🏻 Denver - the definition of a man down bad. Blair could quite literally walk him like a dog and he’d bark a thank you. His backstory and childhood had me sobbing on multiple occasions, my poor baby. The way Denny adored Blair, worshipped the ground she walked on, and fought for her both as a teen and a man, when she came home 14 years later - UGH. He has a heart of gold 💛🥹

The fact we got to spend time with Austin, Cecily, Chase, Cass and the rest of the fam again made my heart so happy. God I missed them, it felt so good to be home 🤠🐴

The only thing I noticed, which was very minor and didn’t bother me that much, was that the storyline got mixed up. Blair broke her ankle when her horse slipped and she fell off whilst barrel racing in the arena, her horse stood on her ankle. Later on in the book it said she broke her ankle when she was out riding in the storm and was thrown from Sandy (the horse she was riding) but that didn’t happen. It’s a minor error in the plot, but I did notice it!

DENNY NOT CALLING BLAIR AS SOON AS THE STORM HIT WHEN SHE WAS OUT RIDING.

I had a good time reading this, I love a good cowboy romance and the atmosphere and setting were well written, second chance romance isn’t usually my favourite trope unless it’s done insanely well but in this case it wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be.

A fantastic cowboy romance. Just the right amount of heat, turmoil and heartache. I loved the dual timeline that gave the depth to the story, a great way to fill everything in. A great read.

A million stars.

Blair and Denver are heartbreaking and wholesome and messy perfection. What an absolutely amazing second chance romance 😭

This book had me sobbing and feeling so hard for both Denny and Blair. Bailey Hannah tackles such difficult topics like ill parents, grief, and mental health with such tact and grace.

I adored the concurrent writing of the timelines where we got to slowly understand what drove them apart as kids and what brought them back together as adults. Ugh I have no words.

4 ⭐️ I am so happy I got this ARC!

Okay, let me just say—this book completely won me over, and I’m not even usually a fan of second-chance romances. But Denny and Blair? They’re THE way to do a second-chance romance right. Their story is messy, heartfelt, and so beautifully written that I couldn’t help but root for them every step of the way... except maybe a little bit at the beginning cause Denny felt like a player (and eww). The way their past is woven into the story, into their present, with all the pain, longing, and unresolved feelings, made their journey feel authentic and deeply satisfying.

The story itself feels complete in the best way possible. It’s long, but not in a dragging, “when will this end?” kind of way—more like an “I never want this to end” kind of way. There’s so much depth to the plot, with layers of family drama, personal growth, and emotional healing that it’s impossible not to get invested. And the family dynamics?! They’re heartbreaking in the most beautiful way. The relationships between the characters are so real and raw that they’ll stick with you long after you’ve finished reading.

This book is my first dip into this world, but I can already tell it won’t be my last. I’m so curious about the other characters and their stories, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into this universe. The author has created something truly special here, and I’m officially hooked.

Thank you so much to NetGalley for the eARC! Getting to read this early was such a treat, and I’m so glad I took the chance on it. If you’re looking for a second-chance romance that’s emotional, steamy, and utterly unforgettable, this is it. Denny and Blair’s story is one you won’t want to miss.

🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 - The spice is there, and it’s good, but it’s the emotional connection that really makes the intimate moments shine. It’s steamy, but it’s also deeply meaningful, which is exactly how it should be in a story like this.

Thank you so much for NetGalley for the ARC <3

This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year after loving the first two books in the Well's Ranch series, and Change of Hart did NOT disappoint!! Blair and Denny are just totally delicious, they were real people with real issues and their history was done perfectly (sometimes I find with second chance romances the reason for the initial breakup is super trivial and it puts me off a little bit). I loved watching them fall back in love and seeing all the characters stories at Well's ranch progress too.

On a more personal note, I sobbed my heart out at this book as it also hit a little close home for me but was done in such a way I was crying my eyes out one minute and giggling at Denny the next. It was the perfect mix of highs and lows and will definitely be one of my soul books fr 🫰🏼

Change The Hart
By Bailey Hannah

♾️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I can give 10 stars I would!!

Change the Hart completely captivated me from beginning to end, and I can’t stop thinking about Blair and Denver. It's a second-chance romance with a dual timeline that beautifully unravels their past. The emotional depth of the story, filled with heartbreak, grief, and loss, left me truly moved. Blair and Denny’s journey was so raw and real, and I just wanted to give them both the biggest hugs.

They fell in love young and were ready to face the world together, but one decision tore them apart. Blair avoided Denny whenever she returned to town, and Denny never truly moved on, turning to a player lifestyle. But when Blair moves back home again, Denny gets hurt in typical fashion—falling off his horse—and he's determined not to let her slip away again.

Blair is a strong, independent woman who carries a heavy load, as the oldest daughter, and I completely related to her struggle to ask for help. It was so rewarding to see her let down her guard and allow Denver to support her. I admired her humor, her selflessness, and the way she grew throughout the story.

As for Denver, he’s the perfect hero funny, strong, caring, and loving. His grief is palpable, and his journey of growth really tugged at my heart. I loved how dedicated he was to those he cared about, and his depth as a character was so well done. The man is a reformed playboy, a cowboy, and someone who’ll do anything to win back the love of his life, and his humor made me smile through every chapter.

This is a beautiful small-town, second-chance romance with high school sweethearts, a barrel racer and bronc rider, dual timelines, themes of grief, and a lot of pining that will break your heart in the best way. If you're a fan of emotional, deeply moving love stories, this one is a must-read!

I have been looking forward to Denver's book for quite some time now and it definitely didn't disappoint. While it wasn't anywhere near as spicy as SEEING RED, I think the absolute raw emotion that bled out of this book more than made up for it. I was a complete wreck in parts and my heart absolutely broke for Denny and Blair. Bailey Hannah's writing gets better and better with each book and I would be more than happy if she continued the Wells Ranch series forever.

Rip my heart out, why don't you!?

I love Denver and Blair separately and together. They have so much love for each other. Even 14 years apart didn't change that.

Denver is cheeky, flirty, and just plain adorable. It's no wonder Blair never stopped loving him. Who would!? But his jokes and banter can be a facade for the hurt he hides.

Blair is such a strong FMC. Dealing with her mum's diagnosis as well as her own issues with her mental health, she is returning to a town where her first (and only) love lives, and she has heard the stories of the playboy life he leads.

This is a Second Chance romance with so much angst and love. What they went through together, and then apart, will rip your heart out. But Bailey Hannah does put it back together for us.
