A dystopic society with strong, refreshing, independent women on a mission. This was a read that had similarities to reality in another time. There were moments when I was wondering what did I get myself into. The class system, race, sex were just so hard hitting and the clarity was there. There were areas of this read that I found off putting. I was not prepared for the way things were winding up or winded down. I also found that it took me way too long to read this. It was hard to hold my attention for long periods of time to really get a grasp of what was going on.
