It’s always nice to read a book where the author has done extensive research and is able to put that research into an interesting book. When the Stones Speak: The Remarkable Discovery of the City of David and What Israel's Enemies Don't Want You To Know by Doron Spielman, whose information is well-written and fascinating for those who have questions about the actual City of David that is written in the scriptures. While the book is written from a Jewish point of view, Christians will find many of their questions answered because Jesus Christ, a Jew, was born in the City of David, which is outlined in the New Testament.

Spielman has done the difficult research and his delivery is excellent. The book is well written and will keep readers very interested, as he seems to prove the truth about the city and answers questions that most of us have asked about the places in Israel there important things took place centuries ago.

All told, anyone who is interested in topics about the Middle East, especially Israel and even Palestine, will want to pick up this book, which has already become a bestseller.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.
