These gnomes are the cutest little things ever! These would be adorable on your mantle. Or even set up for your kids to move around to create different scenes. Directions are clear and easy to read. Sizes are of needles are shown not only in millimeters but in US. I can’t wait to gather my supplies to start creating my Christmas gnomes.

Annelie Kojic's Crochet Scandinavian Christmas Gnomes is a cute collection to help anyone get in the holiday spirit. Following Kojic's directions you can create several different gnomes as well as a little wonderland for them to play in, including home accessories, furniture, and accessories to create an outside scene.
The directions look easy to follow and I think this would make a great group of toys for kids and adults to play with around the holidays.
Thanks to Callisto Publishing for the advanced copy. This book will publish on September 16.

The crochet gnomes with their accessories are adorable! The patterns are well-written and these little Christmas gnomes would be a fun addition to holiday decorations. I can’t wait to give them a try!

This crochet book is incredibly detailed with way more patterns than I expected. A couch for gnome? How about a crocheted holiday cake? Hot cup of coco crocheted, this book has that too. Every design was cute, well explained and has photos. There are so many “extras” you could easily crochet these items to make a gnome dolls with their accessories!

I love cute and quirky crochet books and this one does not disappoint. I thought it was going to have a few characters but I hadn't realized there would be so many adorable accessories to fill little winter gnome homes.
It's great to have a crochet book where the patterns start right at the beginning and the techniques and skills are at the end. Getting into a pattern book that starts right up is so much easier that way. The gnomes are such a sweet design, Frida, Lars, Ida, and Nils are incredibly cute- if it's possible, their accessories are even cuter! I'm planning on adding some of these accessories to my little free library in the winter (front door with wreath, doormat, and mail box) so I've made a couple of those. The directions are easy to follow and very cleverly designed.
Thank you, Annelie Kojic, Callisto Publishing, and NetGalley for this ARC, it's a wonderful pattern book!

I loved this book, easy to follow descriptions (I am an experienced crocheter). There are not many characters to choose from, but there are so many different items to create great Christmas scenes. I loved the sofa, and the backing section the best! Nice pictures. Might not be suitable for those completely new to crocheting, even if there are basic instructions.

This is such a cute book of patterns! I love the inclusion of accessories for the gnomes, and ideas for what they might do in their daily lives. The pictures accompanying each pattern are vibrant, and the crochet instructions are straightforward. This might not be the best volume for a beginner, as it assumes basic amigurumi/3-D crochet skills, but for an adventurous spirit with access to crochet tutorials, it would be perfect.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an ARC of this title.

I wish there were more photos of the finished objects especially with relationship to the size of gnomes
Additionally, the author uses a rating of difficulty that is not clearly explained which makes it confusing.

As a beginning crocheter, I found the patterns in this book easy to read, and of course, they are so adorable! I also really appreciated the inclusion of the "basics" section in the back which shows how to crochet the specific stitches that you will need, in case you need that reference.

As an avid crocheter and fan of all things hygge, this Scandinavian Christmas Gnome book is perfect. The patterns are clear. Photography is on point. The designs are very clean cut looking, & bring that spirit of Scandinavian Christmas. I can’t wait to dive into these patterns & gift the gnomes to my family and friends!
