As a mom of a child with sensory processing disorder, this book was perfect! My son followed along and was engaged by the beautiful and colorful illustrations. While some strategies I had attempted to teach him, he suddenly was very invested in them and wanted to practice each of them! Thank you for providing parents with a resource that can make a difference!

This is a very clear and well-written book that handles developmentally appropriate toddler behavior, specifically biting. The techniques that the book teaches include breathing, using our words, and finding something else to bite. I used many of these techniques with my own toddlers, including teething toys they could bite on.
I really appreciate the advice about how to handle biting and not to encourage biting back. This book will be very helpful for families, early childhood teachers, and youth librarians.
