I am a sucker for a good mafia romance. I know to buckle up and get ready because I'm going for a wild ride. This series has been no exception, and this book was a Rollercoaster. Each story has been paced well and intriguing and entertaining enough for me to devour in one go. Since book 1, I was Ravenous for more of Gabriele's story. He is next in line to be the Don of the Vitale family. Ever since he appeared with his quiet hacking and tech skills helping characters from the first 2 books I knew his story would be an interesting one. Aria was introduced in book 2 as Marcello's sister. Her brother is the Don of the Costa family, so she is pretty significant in their family. I was very interested to see how each would react to the romance budding between them, which was a Wildfire. Aria reminded me a lot of her soon to be sister in law. She is headstrong, opinionated, Fearless, adventurous, and she knows what she wants. I had a sneaking suspicion that she was going to perfect for Gabriele. He is a no nonsense man who knows that his job is important and his family is everything. However Aria sneaks her way under his defensenses. He is fiercely protective and borderline posessive of her. He cares so much even though he isn't supposed to. Aria was a match for Gabriele that I couldn't have made better myself. She is so inquisitive and up to exploring, which works very well for Gabriele. Now, I am onto the next book in series. You can find me hiding away devouring it trying to figure out how a future mafia don and a bratva princess manage to make their arranged marriage work 😏

I devoured this audiobook. It was a quick read, plus it was just pure fun. I really enjoyed Aria's character. I loved that she knew what she wanted, didn't have any shame, and did whatever she needed to in order to get what she wanted. I don't have any complaints about this book and I'll probably end up buying the series. The narrators are fantastic as well--I've grown to really enjoy listening to them through the series.

While I didn't get a chance to listen to the first book in the series, after books 2 and 3, I've come to realize they're a little formulaic. The couple has conflict (because every good romance does), but they get together despite that. There's a subplot to add some danger and more conflict. Then, at the end, the antagonists make their move, fail, and end up dead. I'm curious to see if Craving My Rival will also follow this pattern. I don't hate it--it makes things predictable, which some people find comfortable and prefer.

This series is one I didn't realize I would be devouring with such enthusiasm, but I can't stop listening to the audiobooks. This one is also narrated perfectly and I loved the way they brought Aria and Gabriele to life. I liked the little age gap between them and the conflicting emotions Gabriele had to deal with as a result of Aria's attraction to him. They ended up being my favorite couple so far...
