tried to get back to reading by starting this book, but it is a little too similar to other books with this concept. the premise is interesting, but the thing with a plot that has been similarly done before, the execution had to be good. this one fell flat, and unfortunately, i don't think this kept readers invested enough.

All My Lies kept me hooked with the short chapters and interesting premise. Sloan White, a struggling writier, is stuck being an assistant of one of the best thriller writers in the world. Unfortunately, Barbara Van Wyck is a terrible boss who abuses Sloan and everyone else who works for her. Barbara is murdered and Sloan walks in and sees her manuscript sitting on her desk and decides to change her own life. Someone knows her secret and is out to get her. The writing in this book is Freida McFadden like. We are in Sloan's head the entire time and at some points it's really infuriating reading the way she thinks. I feel like Lamarr really dumbs down or explains unnecessary things for us. I did enjoy the book though. Thanks to NetGalley and Inkubator books for this eARC.

A lie might hurt, but the truth can kill.
All I ever wanted was to write a bestseller. And now, finally, I’ve done it. People ask me how, where did I get my inspiration?
But I can never tell them – because I have a secret.
No one knows what I did. Not my beloved husband or my busybody mother. And nobody can ever find out—it would destroy my career and I'd lose everything. Including my precious baby.
Then the threats begin.
The ominous emails, the sinister letters, and the chilling gifts left outside my door by someone who knows the truth. Someone who’s stalking me and wants to make me pay for my sins. I must do whatever it takes to silence them.
They say you’re only as good as your last book. I know you’re only as good as your next lie.
A gripping psychological thriller packed with twists you’ll never see coming, All My Lies is perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Riley Sager, and Lisa Jewell. If you love the authors mentioned above, then this book is for you. Holy suspense novels. The drama! The Plot! The Plot Twists! I highly recommend this book.

I very much enjoyed this book, I have yet to find a Nelle Lamarr book that I have not liked. The writing was easy to follow and the twists were certainly twisty! In addition, shorter chapters always intrigues me.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the opportunity to read this ARC.
I really enjoyed this book, I loved the short chapters. I had sort of guessed one of the twist early on, but had no idea about another one. It was a face paced, suspenseful read; however, there were a few spots it dragged a little, but over all I would recommend! Look forward to reading more by this author

This was a quick and easy read. I felt it dragged on at times and lost of bit of the suspense elements you would want in a thriller due to the pacing.
I figured out the "big" twist very early on. There is a pretty obvious clue that leaves no room for interpretation - if you notice that, then there is no doubt "whodunnit". So that definitely took away quite a bit of excitement for me.
Overall, a pretty average read!
Thank you Inkubator Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

An intriguing plot with some strong pacing throughout.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Twisty, emotional, and hard to put down. All My Lies delivers a gripping mix of suspense and secrets with just enough drama to keep you hooked. A few parts felt a bit predictable, but the tension and character depth made up for it. A solid read for thriller fans who love a little family dysfunction.

Very intriguing read with short chapters. The twist kept me engaged throughout but at times it did feel that the plot drug on. Overall it was a good read and I would recommend.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of All My Lies By Nelle Lamarr. All opinions are my own.
All My Lies follows Sloan, who hasn't always had it easy in life but keeps wanting to write a great story. She is a PA to a best selling author who is a horrible person, a monster. Sloan comes back to her employers house to find her dead and so we start a downward spiral. The twist were coming left and right. This was a well structured pacing. The author unravels the story one layer at a time; allowing the tension to build gradually. This keeps the suspense high and the reader fully invested. I thought I had the story figured out, and bam twist takes the story in a different direction. I was on the edge of my seat most of this book. Definitely a 4.5 star read. Would be interested to read more from this author.

I really love her books they are highly
Propulsive !! Nelle Lamar is an auto buy author for me
Can’t wait for her next book

I gave this book 4 stars. It was a great story and well-written. It kept me hooked and wanting to gnore my responsibilites.

really good mystery. Kept me on my toes and loved all of the characters and what they went through on this journey. Loved that they a happy ending happened.

I will say I was drawn in by the premise of this book and the murder solving/stolen book aspect, but overall this story fell short. I think this writing was a little basic or not mature enough for me. There was a lot of Wow! and Phew! type phrases along with the narrator kind of talking to the reader in statements and telling instead of showing, but in the scenes she did show the reader, it was very fluffy writing. Some of the descriptive paragraphs were unnecessary and I wish editing had been more strict about that kind of thing so as to make the book shorter and not as fluffy. “Thank goodness a tall, lanky waiter, clad in a colorful tunic over loose linen pants, brings us our order.” These things should be graced over or not even mentioned in my opinion if they don’t add to the book. Along with her being this ultra clumsy person where accidents and her talking about how she’ll be a klutz in certain situations just became annoying.
Also sorry but there’s a scene where Logan LICKS HER “saucy fingers” after eating a meal with their hands and I just could not do it.
The ending was wild and totally crazy but not all that enjoyable for me. By that point I was pretty checked out on the writing and everything that was happening just got crazier and crazier. The end twist was totally random and outlandish and really just ruined it for me. Also this secret past awful deed that seemed to have no business being involved in this book made me dislike this book as well.
I hate to write a bad review like this but it just wasn’t good in my eyes and I have to be honest. I just wish this book was more plot focused and less of all the other stuff because I think I’d enjoy it more. The writing of this book unfortunately fell very flat (and extra?) for me and wasn’t anything new. Maybe if you’re new to reading you’d be okay with this but I don’t think I’d recommend if people asked me.

All my lies by Nelle Lamarr is a gripping psychological thriller with short chapters and lots of twists.
Sloan starts out as the personal assistant to one of the most famous authors in town, Barbara. She dreams of being a famous author herself and thought if she could be mentored by the best maybe she could be one too. But just how far would Sloan go to get her wish?
When something happens to her boss, Sloan publishes Barbara's manuscript as her won. She is hurdles to stardom and is loving life, until she starts to receive sinister messages and gifts from someone claiming to know her secret.
I found this book to be surprisingly funny, In a dry humor sense. Thank you to Nelle for working with NetGalley. I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

This was a fun read that took me on a ride. I really enjoyed it & couldn't put it down wanting to find out what was going to happen next!

All My Lies is such a gripping thriller—it had me hooked from start to finish! The story follows Sloan, a super ambitious personal assistant who dreams of being a famous author one day. She works for Barbara, a big-name writer, hoping to learn the ropes. But as the plot unravels, so do the secrets, and Sloan’s ambition leads her into some seriously dark territory.
The twists and turns in this book are unreal. Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, Lamarr throws in another curveball to keep you guessing. The short chapters make it so easy to binge, and the tension builds up perfectly as Sloan’s lies start to catch up with her. Some parts move a little slower, but the ending totally makes up for it. If you’re into dark and twisty thrillers, this one’s definitely worth picking up! I absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book NetGalley!

First of all, thank you so much for letting me read the ARC. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the flow kept me engaged. The chapters were short enough that I just wanted to keep reading “one more” - 15-20 more later! There were moments of suspense, many moments of trying to figure out “who did what”, and although I guessed the very last chapter and epilogue (and was right) - it still ended as a surprise. The last few chapters tied everything together. Very well written and enjoyable.

We meet Sloan, a personal assistant to a famous author Barbara Von Wick, and an aspiring author herself, hoping to learn from the best.
But what lengths will Sloan go to in order to get her name on the Bestsellers list?
Fast paced, a sprinkle of humour, short chapters and a Freida McFadden feel (note the name drop within the book!).
I really enjoyed this book and the twists kept me gripped throughout the book.
My first read by Nelle Lamar, but not my last.
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wow is all I can say, this book took me out of my reading slump. I had switched up genres and could not put this book down, finished in a few sittings. I loved how it mentioned other real life authors of books I’ve read. Highly recommend this book, it’s so good, you’ll be hooked, this is my second book by Nelle Lamarr and will definitely read the ones I haven’t read before, I like how the chapters are short and easy to follow along with all the characters.
