I mean, what is there to say, really? It's Junji Ito. He is the undisputed master of horror manga. I never thought dust could be scary, but here we are - yet another fear unlocked due to Ito's masterful storytelling.

Thank you NetGalley for an arc copy!

I love Junji Ito's art style so much, the way he can protray emotion on characters faces in insane. I enjoyed the first story in this a lot, there was one story with a family that has appeared in one of his previous manga's that I didn't love and I felt the same the first time I read about that family's story. Apart from that the manga was great, it has slightly unsettling horror vibes and again the artwork in this is truly phenominal.

easily one of my favorite Junji Ito works now (besides the third story). It's so fun watching his art style really solidify but never become bland and idk how this dude makes the most mundane things so creepy, his mind is a wonderous place

Thank you to NetGalley and Viz Media for my arc in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

This was the first 5/5 Junji Ito in a long while for me. I loved how genuinely unsettling and creepy the stories themselves were. The illustrations just knocked it out of the park.

I want more of THIS Ito.

The master of horror manga is back with new tales of terror and even the beloved spiral makes their grand reappearance.

Ito certainly knows how to take an ordinary story and make it horrifying. All of these stories started out a little slow and as they make their way towards the end they become horrifying masterpieces. The end of these tales are wild and Ito knows a thing or two about being scarily wild.

‘The Liminal Zone, Vol. 2’ is a great collection of spooky tales. I did enjoy the first volume more than this but these stories are still great and weird. Ito can do no wrong.

I knew there was a reason why I loved crows. 🐦‍⬛

Anyone that is familiar with Junji Ito will know what to expect with this collection. The stories in this book are really good and I enjoyed each of them. I think my favorite story was "Demon King of Dust." All of the stories are very different and touch on horror in different ways but as usual for Junji Ito, they are quick and engaging reads. I also enjoyed the letter included at the end from the author, which gave insight into why he wrote the stories.
