4.5 ⭐️
I listened to the audio and read the digital version. My over all thoughts are of course the same but one thing I want to point out is that the digital version did have some sections with more details or things in a different order than the audio.
Over all:
This was great! Not only the love story as a whole but also the growth in faith and trust in the Lord.
This book made me cry for Kit (her situation) and Levi but also it made me think about what it means to have a daily and constant prayer life.
I adored not only the main characters but also the side characters like Austin and Haymitch, their wise council and loyalty was wonderful.

I wish that I could find more books written with Jesus spread all throughout the book the way Kristina Welch does. Wow. This book was so amazing, so amazing that I'm having trouble putting what I want to say into words. This is one of my favorite books. I never reread books and I want to reread this one right away! I am not good with words, so all I can say is...read this book. You will not regret it.

Anything is a sweet, clean Christian book about healing from trauma and growth. We follow along as characters deal with real life issues and a romance that blooms. This book is written beautifully.
Thank you netgalley for an arc of Anything by Kristina Welch

This was such a cute and fun read with plenty of charm. Anything is a Christian YA contemporary romance that follows Kit and Levi, two students at a quirky university, both struggling with their faith in different ways. Kit, who is still reeling from past trauma, is desperate for healing that God seems to be withholding. Levi, who is charismatic and confident, is used to admiration... until Kit challenges his perspective. As their paths intertwine, the story explores real, sometimes messy faith, slow-burn romance, and God’s plan unfolding in unexpected ways.
The characters were enjoyable, and the lighthearted tone balanced the heavier themes well. While it didn’t become a personal favorite, it was still an entertaining and heartwarming read—perfect for those who love faith-based stories with depth and humor!!
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

This book was just ok to me. I liked the premise and the writing was good. I just struggled a bit to get into it throughout the book. Maybe for others it would be a better fit.

Anything by Kristina Welch is a heartfelt and authentic Christian YA contemporary romance that delves into the complexities of faith, healing, and trust. Kit, a young woman struggling to find peace after a traumatic event, is grappling with unanswered prayers and a feeling of divine silence. As she navigates her way through life at a quirky university, she meets Levi, a charming and swoony guy who seems to be the complete opposite of what she needs. He reminds her too much of her ex, and yet, there's something about him that causes her to question her own feelings and beliefs.
The story is a genuine exploration of real, messy faith—the kind that is full of doubt, waiting, and the struggle to hear God’s voice. Kit and Levi’s slow-burn romance adds depth to the story, as their relationship grows amid moments of humor, tenderness, and vulnerability. Kit’s journey toward healing and the realization that God’s timing is perfect—even when it's not in line with her own—offers a powerful message about trusting God's plan, even when the answers don’t come right away.
With lighthearted moments and pop culture references, Anything is a refreshing take on Christian YA romance that balances the challenges of faith with the sweetness of a budding relationship. Fans of slow-burn romance and thoughtful reflections on faith will find plenty to appreciate in Kit and Levi’s story.

Anything is for readers who like lots of faith, clean romance, and heavy struggles but a hopeful ending.

Thank You Netgalley for the ARC granted to me. I loved this book. I am so glad We can find great christian narratives in romances. This one has complex topics and issues that are relevant in our day by day lives today and I hope that more and more books can bring the real gospel message in modern literature.

*Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an E-Arc and an audiobook in exchange for an honest review!*
3.75 Stars!
This was so cute and fun. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to read and listen to the audiobook in the mean time.
I'm so excited for the next books in the Mayberry University series.

A wonderful book with huge depth in the story and characters. Suspense kept me reading to see how the final outcome happened.

This book was just not for me. I tried, but I just couldn't finish and gave up at the 13% mark. I found Kit to be full of herself and vain . I thought the book was a bit shallow, lacking depth despite the scripture and Christian themes. Although I didn't enjoy it, I do think those who enjoy the young adult genre would find this more appealing. Thank you, NetGalley, Kristina Welch, and Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), for the opportunity to read and review this advanced copy.

4.5⭐️s Kristina does a beautiful job of sharing how trauma is so hard to work through. While there is no actual SA in the book, it does portray the main FMC dealing with anxiety and fear from getting away from an attempted SA. Please be careful with your mental health if that subject matter is too much of a trigger.
The power of prayer is strong in this book. Both Kit and Levi are walking through hard personal trials. As they continue to be drawn to each other, Kit’s PTSD prevents them from truly getting to know one another. She struggles with being open and honest about her trauma. Meanwhile, Levi has some family issues that caused him to want to pursue his own path. If you love a book about prayer, trauma healing, and just sweet gentle moments, give Anything a read. It’s out today!!

This book is a college romance that is a clean read with a Christian emphasis. I appreciated that the author tackled real-life issues that teens/young adults face, but did so with a Christian world-view. I will definitely recommend for my HS daughter to read! This is perfect for people looking for a lovely romance that will point them to seek God for wisdom. 4-stars! I also had the pleasure of listening to this on audio and loved that the author read it herself, which is always a win for me. Thank you Netgalley and publisher for the ARCs!

Thanks Netgalley for the ARC👌🏽☺💥
This book offers a refreshing🌊 take on Christian romance😘, it's definitely different compared to the traditional historical setting⛪.
Though there are lots references to movies and books🎭, the initial connection💞💫 I felt with the story seemed to fade a bit halfway through. But, I'm still excited😝🎉 for more.

This book was cute - I was desperate for an audibook and ended up with this - the narrator reads a lot of self help Christian books so switching to reading this book helped me to finish it. It’s cute but very religious - obviously.
Thanks NetGalley for letting me read and review

First and foremost, thanks to Netgalley for providing a free ebook for my review; all opinions are my own.
One reason I've never given a romance 5 stars is that the tension often feels contrived. As readers, we know our two MCs are going to end up together, and the back-and-forth of "will they" or "won't they?" often feels manufactured and cliche. This book, while not perfect, has managed to avoid that.
Anything touches beautifully on the challenges of PTSD and trauma. For being a comedy, it was surprisingly touching. The content was emotionally balanced. The book wasn't so dark or depressing that it was hard to read but it handled sensitive topics in a way that was both respectful and appealing to readers.
The references in this book are amazing; Kristina Welch clearly has great taste in entertainment. The pacing was spot-on, another aspect I believe romances tend to fall short on. The plot structure wasn't especially intriguing, but it wasn't inherently bad. My biggest issue with this book was the prose from Levi's point of view. Romances are meant to be indulgent reads, but viewing Kit and Levi's relationship from his perspective landed as more sappy/borderline cringy than swoony.
That being said, this is a solid read. It's perfect for Christian readers looking for a clean romance. Yes, it can come across as a cheesy read, but it's still entertaining, fun, and even thought-provoking. 7/10 stars

I was super intrigued to see this book on NetGalley! A contemporary Christian YA romance novel? Yes please!
'Anything' is one of the purest love stories I've read! Kristina Welch’s writing is wildly entertaining and yet beautifully emotional. We need more modern novels like this, that dive into the real struggles adolescents face while showing dependence on God! Specifically, following Kit's journey to trust God amidst anxiety prompts me to cry out to God when I face similar panic.
I highly recommend this to any fan of contemporary romance who either already loves the Lord or is curious about how following Him can bring hope and healing to all of life! I am so looking forward to the rest of this series! Kristina does a great job of focusing in on the dynamic main characters while hinting at the interesting side characters enough that I’d love to read about any of them in a future book.
Special thanks to Kristina Welch and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

"Anything" is a well-written story that addresses significant topics, making it relevant for readers of all backgrounds—whether they identify with a faith or not. It explores the challenges and nuances of navigating friendships and romantic relationships in our modern world, which is a subject many can relate to. The book offers thoughtful commentary and raises important questions that resonate with today’s social and personal dynamics.
That said, despite its strengths, something about the execution felt off for me. While I appreciated the themes and the effort the author put into crafting the story, I struggled to stay engaged. The narrative lacked the spark or depth that would have drawn me in more fully. The characters and their interactions, while well-written, didn’t quite evoke the emotional connection I was hoping for.
Although the book had its moments, overall, it left me feeling underwhelmed. It’s clear the author had good intentions and a meaningful message, but the delivery fell short of making a lasting impression. For this reason, I’m giving it 2 ⭐.
