What a hoot! My kids (7&5yo) love animals and jokes. We read this together and were all (including the 40+yos) chuckling away. This story has a perfect blend of fun illustrations, colorful pages, and jokes for the whole family to enjoy.

My kids love lions, before reading we went through habits and patterns of lions in the wild. We roleplayed and played, then segwayed into this book.

We all loved the bright and vibrant colors of the artwork, the solid colors allowed the illustrations to shine on their own. The book was funny, and even dad came over to partake in the reading of some dad (lion) jokes.

Very fun concept and well done in the execution. I have a feeling this one will be requested again!

My 5 year old and I read this for his reading book of the day. He laughed at the jokes but I did have to explain just a few. It was humorous and exactly what you think a kids joke book would be.
