Amy is such a brilliant writer and does story telling like no other. I loved the message of Jesus befriended, defended, healed, and depended upon women–and He will do the same for you! This book made me understand these women and dig deeper into the Bibles stories. I recommend this read for all women because YOU are his daughter.

Great book for Biblical reminders on what women can benefit from a relationship with Jesus.
Doesn't matter if you're a seasoned or new Christian, this book is a staple in your reading pile!

This was such an excellent book that continued to encourage me and engage my interest until the end with biblical truths and references to personal testimonies throughout the text.
The stories contained numerous examples of women who experienced Gods faithfulness even at moments with life's uncertainty and the struggles were overwhelming.
It was exciting to continue reading each chapter as it continued to remind me of who God has created women to be. A refreshing reminder that we are loved and made for such a time as this.

In this book, author Amy Sieffert shares the stories of women of the Bible in a new way. Some you may know, such as Mary, Martha, and Hannah. Some you may not be familiar with, such as Huldah and Phoebe. She gives them 21st century hopes, dreams, disappointments, and emotions which could belong to any one of us in 2025. Above all, she conveys the message that Jesus loved women and valued them greatly enough to heal a woman who reaches out to him on a dusty street. God uses women throughout the Bible to accomplish his purpose. Amy sieffert does an incredible job of sharing about the unsung women of the Bible. "Your Name is Daughter" will help you to understand how God feels about you, too. You are precious, you are loved, you are His DAUGHTER! Grab this one for sure!

This book was phenomenal. The writing was so unique in bringing the women of the Bible to life. The way she started with stories that did deeper into what the women might have been feeling and thinking really added so much. I learned so many new things about the meaning behind verses, as well as just felt so convicted to lean into my identity as a daughter of Christ. This was such an insightful and inspiring book in my journey with Christ. I highly recommend it.

Have you ever felt “less than” because you are female? Amy Seiffert’s new book, Your Name is Daughter, will blast those insecure, trounced upon feelings right out of your head! She writes about many women in the Bible, some named, some not, and how they were chosen, loved, and used by God. Amy brings humor and her sanctified imagination to flesh out their stories and bring them to life. She also brings the wisdom of other scholars to help change our old perspectives and opinions about these women. God dearly loves His daughters, and Amy shows just how much through her writing. This book was uplifting and encouraging.

A deep dive into just how beautifully God loves women and our roles across the board. Amy unravels some deep seated issues the church can suffer from regarding the places for women in church leadership; pastoral or staff. She even covers our own personal struggles where Jesus’s concern for women isn’t concern at all, but love and honor and place! Bravo sister!

“You, sister can be a pillar who speaks with confidence as you listen to what God is saying. You can raise your voice of encouragement, of truth, of prophecy, of discernment, of love. You have been given a voice to use, not to hide.”
This book taught me so much about my worth as a woman of God and my identity as a Daughter. This book invites us into the lives of the unsung heroes of the Bible letting us “slip on their sandals” and examine their stories.
Amy is an encouraging and soul-stirring guide who leads us to dig deep in discovering how Jesus befriended, healed, empowered, and commissioned women and how He is still doing this for us today.
The book will touch your heart deeply as you encounter the counter-cultural love of Jesus that stops for the marginalized, those who feel forgotten and unknown, and calls them Daughter.
I received an advance reader copy from the publisher and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
