A romp, a ride, a thriller-mystery about psychopaths falling in love. I dropped everything to read this and - just like her first book - had so much fun! I don't know what Tasha Coryell puts in her writing but I eat it up every time because her writing is so compulsively readable.

Matchmaking for Psychopaths follows Lexie, whose job is to make "psychopaths" fall in love - something she has plenty of experience with because her parents are psychopaths. After her best friend and fiance betray her by revealing an affair, Lexie is confident that she can get her normal life back on track and win her man back. But, after a night with a mysterious handsome man and making a new friend who also happens to be a client, things go awry when she starts receiving body parts in the mail.

I enjoyed Lexie as a main character and her unreliable narration. I was "rooting" for her each step of the way! The different twists Coryell throws in were enjoyable, as I was able to guess some but not all. My main critique with the story is actually the romance. Aiden and Lexie obviously belong together, but it didn't feel like this relationship was really developed enough for me to buy in. I also felt like some of the writing was repetitive. Finally, I'm very curious to see what psychopaths think of this book lol.

Okay this book! I ate it up! A really fun one and I did not want to put it down! Will be reading more from this author!

Obsessed with this author! This was a riot, had me laughing out loud, if you're a fan of flawed characters and a crazy plot this is the one for you!

Thoroughly enjoyed this one! I had a feeling on who was the killer and was right about that one, but didn’t expect all of the connections. Loved Lexie, definitely makes me think of the main character of Love Letters. It’s giving “listening to your delusional bestie’s rant” and I can dig it.

If you like flawed characters, lots of craziness and a good read, this book is for you! The second one I have read by this author, she is amazing and becoming a favorite!

Lexie thinks she has found love until her boyfriend and her best friend fall in love with each other. After they tell her this, a human heart shows up on her doorstep.

"You finally brought him, my mother said as she drank Aidan in. She had immediately forgotten the conversation in which I'd told her that my fiance was dead and had been chopped into pieces. She was always doing stuff like that, forgetting inconvenient truths in order to remember the world and how she wanted it to be".

"It didn't matter what I did. My father always had eyes only for my mother, and my mother paid attention to me only during the hours when she wanted a daughter to do things with. The rest of the time, I was invisible."

"I'd always thought that love was a conscious choice. People fit together because of their temperaments, their likes and dislikes, and their goals. Looking at Aidan, I realized how wrong I'd been. I loved him in spike of all his flaws."

This book is so good and highly recommended!

Shut up with this one. This books is so much fun!!! Y’all I am obsessed. I loved the writing style, I love the unique story line. I’m a therapist and this just cracked me up. There’s actually a lot of accurate details in here. It was pure entertainment and I loved every single second!

I really, really enjoyed this book. Although it had me wondering at times just WHO all qualified as a psychopath, including our narrator, Lexie, I devoured this book. Lexie didn't have an ideal childhood- in fact, it was downright horrific and blood-soaked. As the child of two emotionally unavailable serial killers, Lexie learned to be resourceful and resilient, even if she can't always fully trust her instincts. I don't want to give too much away, but I was happy with how things ended, mostly. Lexie deserved someone in her life who truly, unconditionally loved her- even if she might have killed someone? Maybe? Probably? (She did, sorry, spoiler)..... although certain other aspects of Lexie's plan did not work out exactly as she had anticipated, at least she found true love, with someone just as messed up as she was. That, to me, is more beautiful than any kind of "perfect" ending. I'll definitely be keeping this book in mind to recommend, and I know others will love it just as much as I do.

MUWAHAHAHA!!! I had mixed feelings for Coryell's first book. I liked her writing and style, but wasn't totally sold on the story. This, however, was chef's kiss!!! Alexandra is my spirit animal! She did all the things I would very much like to do in her place. I rooted for her so much. LOVE! I LOVED THIS BOOK! Can't wait to see what Coryell comes up with next.

As unique as its name, Matchmaking for Psychopaths was a fun book that I honestly couldn’t guess ahead on! It would make sense given some personality quizzes and assessments that surely take place in matchmaking that an agency may begin to realize some of their customers are psychopaths and choose to be a little more deliberate in their matching. In this case Lexie is the one bringing these psychopaths together, something she is talented in given her mysterious past. But when Lexie’s perfect life is shattered with her fiancé leaving her for her best friend she stops being the puppeteer between psychopaths and gets pulled into the fun more directly.

Lexie was a great character to get to know, but better than her the secrets other characters were hiding and the ‘what comes next?’ plot really made this fun. From the opening that just grabs you and won’t let go to the crazy plot turns, I dare you to try to not plow through this in one go.

I got approved for this book, immediately downloaded it, and read it as quickly as my life allowed me to. The title alone deserves 5 stars, and I'm happy to report that the story also delivers. While I felt like I guessed the ending before it arrived, there was ANOTHER major twist that I absolutely did not clock. By the end of this fast paced, exciting, sometimes even funny story, I was fully charmed by the MC and her band of collected weirdos. The true lesson? Being a psychopath sometimes isn't the worst thing in the world to be. That is, if you can keep yourself from murdering others. 5 stars!

Matchmaking for Psychopaths moves at a good clip with an intriguing premise. I'd call it "fluffy" or "light," but that doesn't seem totally appropriate given the amount of murder and the fact that I am not a psychopath. The development of the main character, Lexie, is intentional and strategic, especially with the pacing of her backstory. I struggled big-time, however, with believability. Many things that happen to Lexie come across as contrived - like the circumstances of her breakup and the "twist" with her coworker, Nicole. The final twist at the conclusion felt so rushed and clumsy - a real letdown. Lexie is her realest when she is her most vulnerable, vapid self, and I wish this book had rooted itself in this instead.

I LOVED Tasha Coryell`s first novel so much and was so happy to get this one. Her books are so original from anything else I have read. Lexie works as a matchmaker for psychopaths and becomes involved with two of them outside of the office. The writing and characters are fantastic in this book. Lots of crazy and chaos abound but in a good way. Some good twists I did not see coming. I will read everything this author writes!

Bingeable and unexpected, Matchmaking for Psychopaths is perfect for fans of Alice Feeney, Megan Lalley, and Riley Sagar. Family drama, mystery, and a twisty storyline will keep you guessing until the end.


I kept going back and forth on who I thought killed Noah, but I did figure it out by the end! (Not too much before the reveal though.) If you like trying to solve the mystery while you read, the author does a great job of leading the reader to decide for themselves.

(psychopaths) She's engaged to the love of her life and has a best friend she had always dreamed of. Her boss just announced the possibility of a promotion. What else could she want from life?

I loved the author’s previous title so I knew I was in for a wild ride with this one. This was book crazy in the best of ways. Lexie works at an unconventional matchmaking service and matches psychopaths for a living. I did not expect the twist at the end and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

This book was batshit crazy in the best of ways. This is not you’re average dating service. Matchmaking for psychopaths is just what it sounds like. It might have been a bit excessive with the amount of psychopaths in this woman’s orbit, but the book was very enjoyable!

So I absolutely LOVED and devoured Love Letters to a Serial Killer and was so so excited to get this arc. Anyone who’s read Tasha’s book will immensely enjoy this one too.

Lexie is a matchmaker by trade, but she cannot find love for herself. When Matchmaking for Psychopaths begins she learns that her fiancé is leaving her for her best friend. I should mention that her brand of setting people up is unique, at her agency she in charge of setting up psychopaths. She comes to this career with some experience: her parents are infamous serial killers that butchered young women.
When Lexie begins to experience crimes and deaths in her own life, she must begin to examine some of the people she interacts with on a daily basis. Which psychopath is out to get her?

Author Tasha Coryell absolutely knocks it out of the park with this story. The writing was fantastic and the characters interesting and well crafted. A twisty novel that will keep you guessing. A five star read all around.
