Just wow. Countless twists & turns, you couldn't guess what was going to happen next even if you wanted to.
Definite page turner! I finished in a day & a half. It was that good!

In this Post Apocalyptic Survival TV Show 8 contestants set out to an unknown location set in a western style old town completely deserted. What each contestant comes to find out is that each of them have survived something horrific & that is exactly the reason they are selected for this show. With the winning being one hundred thousand dollars for each player that 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴.
Everyone must work together but like in most situations under pressure can they all be a team and stay focused?
Throughout the story we gather bit and pieces from each player and what they survived and endured.
Thoughts : I really enjoyed this story I liked that the game host selected these player because of there adolescence. Having the idea that they haven’t yet been corrupted by society and will make better decisions based on that premises. Each different challenge within the game had me on the edge of my seat knowing that if they didn’t complete the challenge they wouldn’t have the items needed to survive. I really felt connected to the characters and felt for what they had been through.

We Won't All Survive by Kate Alice Marshall proved to be action from the start, it's quite the plot line and moves at such a quick pace that you can't help but read it in one sitting. The characters are intriguing, though not totally realistic for the age and setting. Though some almost 20 year olds do make incredibly stupid decisions, I think the ones here, with their traumatic pasts, just wouldn't act that way. Mentally, they would have grown up much quicker than their peers, so it made the story more unbelievable, outside the crazy plot. But since the pacing still keeps things moving and something happens in every chapter, I had to keep going. For regular readers of the mystery thriller genre, it's pretty easy to predict the twists and ending but it's still a fun ride.

I really love the way Kate Alice Marshall tells a story - even when it's a story that I feel like I've read 5 times already in the past year, she manages to make it engaging and seat-of-your-pants exciting. The basic storyline is certainly not a novel one these days - reality TV gone horribly wrong - but I still found it an interesting and pulse-racing read. The characters were a solid blend of personality tropes, many of which were unsympathetic and irritating, yet her unique knack at presentation meant that each leapt off the page (even when I didn't want them to!).
On the whole it was a fast-paced read that kept me wondering right along with the characters what, exactly, was going on. As with many of her novels, you have to suspend disbelief a fair bit, but I've never found that to be an issue in her books. I suspect it's largely because of her imaginative picture-painting. You're right there with the characters in every nail-biting moment, and as a result you almost don't have time or opportunity to question why anyone would behave in a certain way or say a certain thing. It makes for a very enjoyable read every time!

I was so graciously given an ARC of this title.
This is my first book I've read from Kate Alice Marshall and I really enjoyed it! It had a good pace and it kept my attention the entire book. I would definitely recommend it.

Truthfully, I didn’t realize at first that this was Kate Alice Marshall's upcoming YA novel. It turned out to be an engaging read. The story follows eight young trauma survivors who are chosen to compete on a reality survival show created by a tech billionaire. The characters’ backstories are interesting, and seeing how they handle the challenges of the competition kept me interested. This had 'Hunger Games' vibes with a more modent twist. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

I cannot provide feedback for this book as I was unable to read it. I tried all available options to view it and none of them would work for me. I’m so sorry.
It was a very anticipated read for me, so I’m definitely bummed. I rated it 3 stars for the sake of having to rate, and I don’t want my review to drop the overall rating.

When your past traumatic events are the reason for a “reality show” chances are you might not be able to tell reality from fiction. We Won’t All Survive is a page turner where you don’t know who to trust. You don’t know who is going to turn on you or who is going to have your back when things start going downhill. Mercy who is labeled a hero for saving not only her sister but others as well doesn’t accept the whole hero title being her main goal was to save her sister. Now when stranded for this “show” can she finally accept that she truly is a hero to not only her sister but her new found friends as well? Trust me you are going to want to read this to find out who survives and who doesn’t.

This book was so good!! The plot, the twist and turns In it were phenomenal and the display of toxic males, the fragility of masculinity and the entitlement that some men think they have displayed it this book was absolutely amazing and I just loved it so much that when it comes out I will be owning the physical copy of it!!
Posted a review of the book on TikTok on March 22.

I will definitely be checking out more books by Kate Alice Marshal!
Thank you so much for sharing your book and allowing me to read it!!

Mercy Gray is a hero. She survived a shooting attack at the mall and saved several lives, including that of her sister, when the kind boy next door turned out to be a possessive raging monster. After the dust settled, she was left with loads of guilt and even more medical bills. She sees a chance to repay her sister’s college fund by going on a billionaire’s survivalist reality television show. The contestants arrive at the remote location to immediately find something isn’t right. Before they can put any pieces together, the gate shuts trapping them inside, and it isn’t long before they start turning up dead.
I enjoyed this story so much! I was hooked so early on, and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. At first, it felt like there were quite a few characters to keep up with, but their unique personalities sorted that out quickly. Each of the contestants on the show came with a compelling and traumatic backstory, and it was so interesting to me unraveling those. I thought the pacing was great, and it wrapped up nicely.
Thank you to Kate Alice Marshall, Penguin Group, and NetGalley for the advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest review.

This was a must read. I could not put it down! While I found the killer to be fairly predictable very early on, there were so many twists and turns throughout that had me at the edge of my seat and never saw coming. And there was always enough other stuff happening to give me a little doubt where I had to learn more.

Kate Alice Marshall did it again. 8 survivors, put on a survival show. But when they get there the set is empty. A game of survival and trying to make it out alive. Trust your instincts.

3.75 stars. I’ve been on a Kate Alice Marshall kick, and I admit I didn’t fully realize I was diving into her upcoming YA novel. Regardless, I really enjoyed this page turning thriller. The premise of the story is eight young trauma survivors are hand selected to compete on a reality survival show created by a tech billionaire. The back story of all the characters is super interesting and how they navigate their Hunger Games-esque environment makes for a page-turning thriller. Mercy Gray rocks. Thank you to Penguin Teen and NetGalley for my ARC.

If you’re looking for an action packed, edge of your seat book that’s full of twists and keeps you guessing until the very end, then this is the book for you! Kate Alice Marshall never disappoints!

A great story of 'Who dunit', second guessing everything you know and lifetime friendships being made.
8 young adults have 2 things in common...
1. They all have some kind of past trauma
2. They all put their hands up to compete in a survival reality show in the middle of nowhere.
Locked behind gates things turn south very quickly once they notice they are the only ones there. (or are they???)
The survival Show turns a lot more real with no food, minimal water and one of them ending up dead.
The race is on to find a way out before they all don't make it.
I was lucky to be able to get an Arc for this book...
I cant wait for the release date cause i will be buying this on for my daughter.

Really great YA thriller! Kate Alice Marshall has amazing twists in her books - I like that even if you guess the murderer, it’s tough to guess the “why”, which keeps it exciting! It’s a bit slow to start, but really picks up about a quarter in. This gave modern Hunger Games vibes, which I loved as a teenager, so this was the perfect mix of new and nostalgic. Great read!

Exactly what I expect from Kate Alice Marshall. This is an edge of your seat thriller that I simply could just not put down! This reminded me of a mix of Hunger Games with Survivor. Although it's labeled as young adult, it definitely does not skimp on the thrill and suspense. I would recommend this locked room thriller to all!
Thanks to NetGalley and PENGUIN GROUP Penguin Young Readers Group | Viking Books for Young Readers for a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

When I was selected to read an advanced copy of one of Kate Alice Marshall’s books, I immediately knew I was in for a treat!!! I read her BOTM, A Killing Cold, a few months back and she instantly became one of my go-to favorite authors.
Now to We Won’t All Survive: Unputdownable! Marshall hooks you from the very beginning telling the story of a group of teenagers who are to be an a reality tv survival tv series hosted by a well-known billionaire to win a $100,000 prize. They all have one thing in common: survivors of extremely traumatic events. But where are the producers when they arrive? What is supposed to be a survival competition soon goes from a game to a life or death situation, with the questions for each competitor being when will their next meal be, who can they trust, and will they make it out alive?
Another 5 star read, great for any aged reader!!!

4.5 stars rounded up!
Holy goodness this was so good! I started it in the evening before bed, thinking I would see how the story started, and promptly devoured the whole thing. I really enjoyed the premise of a survival game show gone wrong. It quickly turned into a twisted version of And Then There Were None, and I couldn’t get enough!
The basics: the story is told from the POV of Mercy, a girl who survived a shooting and saved people in the process of saving her sister. She applies for a survival show, based in an abandoned ghost town, in the hopes of earning money to support her sister. When she arrives, everything is not as it should be for a produced survival show. The other 7 contestants have also survived their own trauma, supposedly making them primed to survive better in this environment.
As the story progresses, secrets and the machinations of the creators and participants are revealed. Leading to twists and turns around every corner. We Won’t All Survive, a new YA Thriller from Kate Alice Marshall, releases July 29, 2025.
Thank you Penguin Young Readers Group & Viking Books for Young Readers for providing me with an ARC, all thoughts expressed are my own.

Overall I really liked this book! I liked learning about the backgrounds of all of the characters and what brought them to the situation they found themselves in. I also really liked reading about the development of their friendships over the course of the story. There were some parts that seemed to get a little slow during the middle, but overall I enjoyed it!
