This story had a bit of everything in it that kept me reading, what on earth could happen next, I thought to myself. Who do you trust and believe? This is a gripping thriller from a very talented author whom I must admit I had not heard about before. I can understand why she is a best-selling American author.

WOW I really enjoyed reading The Vow (Kindle Edition) a psychological suspense thriller by Stephanie London that was so exciting and fast paced. This is my first time reading a novel by the author.

This is a story about sisterhood, rivalry between siblings, betrayal, revenge and a revelation that will knock readers right off their seats.

The story goes back and forth from the present to 2013 twelve years ago when three school friends, Ellie, Sophia and Rose made a vow that only they know what they did until twelve years later Sophia receives an anonymous text saying "I vow to make you pay for what you did."

The Vow by Stefanie London is a gripping romantic thriller.
London expertly builds suspense throughout the story, layering in twists and turns that leave readers questioning the characters’ true intentions. The pacing is fast, with a well-structured plot that maintains tension, making it hard to put the book down once you start.

Although this was a murder mystery it was fun to read and well paced. The characters did not appeal to me but the interaction between the three girls was clearly shown. Each chapter gives the views from each of the girls and also from when they were at school and today as Ellie is getting married. This chapter flow could appear as muddled aspects but the story flows beautifully. The story of why the vow was taken unfolds at a steady rate and kept the interest and questions arriving before the final culmination at the end. The story is full of twists and turns and pointing to many people who were out to silence the girls and ruin their lives. It was an atmospheric read set in beautiful but creepy surroundings. The interaction of the three girls was typical as three is an awkward number with one often being left out and this describes that so well. The epilogue set the final so well and closed any questions that were still outstanding.
A superb read

This is a great fast-paced thriller filled with twists and turns. I found the pacing was just right, with the flashbacks leading up to a big reveal and the explosive finale. I really enjoyed the dynamics between the three friends, making it clear that they at times felt they were held together by their wrongdoing, rather than genuine loyalty. This was a gripping read and I would definitely recommend it!

This was a truly enjoyable thriller. The 3 friends' perspectives were all so different and allowed us to experience both what each of them went through 12 years ago, as well as what they were experiencing currently with the mysterious wedding guest who knows their deepest secret. Their friendship was truly tested and this was a testament to how much having a big secret can unravel everything you have worked for, as well as your relationships. You get dual timelines, 3 points of view, and lots of twisty drama, and I was here for it. The setting was beautiful and atmospheric as well! I will definitely recommend this one to my thriller-loving friends and followers.

This was SO good overall! There were some points where it felt a little slow moving, but overall it was great!

In The Vow, Stefanie London crafts a chilling romantic thriller told from three razor-sharp perspectives—each one peeling back layers of deception.

A bride running from her past. A best friend hiding explosive secrets. A perfect life starting to fracture. And a stranger lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike.

As truths unravel and loyalties shift, the line between love and obsession blurs in this twisty, emotionally charged ride. The Vow is a fast-paced, slow-burn game of cat and mouse where trust is deadly—it was such an engaging book.

I was worried that switching between the 3 POV's and time frames in this book, thinking that they would be confusing but everything flowed really well and it was easy to follow along. I haven't read Stefanie before and I found that I really enjoyed her style of writing and her characters.

Thank you to @stefanielondon, @avonbooks, and @netgalley for the eARC. I really enjoyed this one!

It is billed to be the wedding of the year… the movie star and the golfer. A beautiful location on the Victorian coast, Her best friend as the wedding planner and her other bestie there with her family. It is going to be the perfect day….. or is it?

Of course things are going to go array. These 3 woman have been friends since forever, and 12 years ago they made a vow to keep quiet about what happened that day when their lives changed forever. But somebody knows and is at the location of the wedding.

This was a wild and fast read. I loved that it was set in Australia with dual timelines of the wedding lead up and the day that they will never speak of. All these women were flawed and their friendship is tested. None were particularly likeable but it was fun pacey read.

Thanks to Avon Books UK for my copy to read for review. Very entertaining and unpredictable

The Vow by Stefanie London is a masterpiece!
A group of school friends come together again to celebrate one of them getting married.
Ellie, a famous film star is having a very glitzy wedding, planned by Sophia, who is a wedding planner. Rose is coming along to help out, but ultimately show off her little boy!
We are told about how they are all being targeted by someone unknown and it’s affected their whole lives. They have a secret and someone knows how to scare them into thinking they will out them. As far as they’re concerned, they are the only ones keeping the tragic event to themselves. So they have to try and work out who else could know.
I found the characters very interesting, and especially how they handled what was happening to them. Some were weak and some were strong. I suppose some had more to lose…
Many thanks to Avon Books for the opportunity to read this arc copy via Netgalley. My opinion is my own.

The Vow by Stefanie London is a suspenseful and fast-paced psychological thriller filled with mystery. The plot had me hooked with its satisfying twists and complex friendship.

The story revolves around three women who committed a secret act in high school, which they vowed never to disclose. However, as the wedding week unfolds, it becomes evident that someone knows what they did and is behind the troubles they are now facing.

Set across dual timelines and multiple points of view, the narrative reveals the secret behind the vow made by Sofia, Ellie, and Rose, as well as the consequences they are facing in the present day.

The complex dynamics of female friendship are explored through these three flawed yet compelling characters.

The central event is "the wedding of the season," where Ellie is the bride-to-be. The wedding takes place at an isolated lighthouse, which adds an air of tension. Ellie has begun to establish herself as an actress, but when an old affair is revealed, it threatens not only her wedding but also her career. And this is just the beginning...

2⭐️ Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books for an advanced copy of The Vow.

Ellie, Rose, and Sofia are reuniting for Ellie’s wedding. Tbr three of them do not get to see one another as much as they would like to. When they arrive at the wedding location they all start to have weird things happen and threats about the past. They have no idea how someone knows what they did.

This book was good but I found it pretty predictable.

It’s the wedding of the year – for all the wrong reasons…

I vow to make you pay for what you did.

Twelve years ago, school friends Sofia, Ellie and Rose made a vow. They promised never to talk about that fateful night. Never to tell anyone what they did.

Since then, they’ve all followed very different paths but as they come together to celebrate Ellie’s destination wedding it promises to be a weekend to remember…

It is meant to be the event of the season, but as things start to go wrong, they suspect someone is trying to punish them.

This was a solid thriller. It was very entertaining, fast paced and I thought the twists were pretty good. I thought I knew who the bad guy was, but I was wrong haha. It takes place at a wedding in Australia between four girls who are hiding a secret from their past.

The Vow by Stefanie London is a story of secrets and the ways bonds are tested through the darkest secrets of all. This book is a fast paced suspense packed with action, twists and turns, and surprises; grabbing me on page one, keeping me intrigued until I reached the last page.
It is a unique take on the 'reunion secret' novel and one which is an absolute must read. It is told in a dual time-line, through the perspectives of three childhood friends and the fallout from an unfortunate event that occurred in their past.

Three women, who have been friends since their schooldays and are as close as sisters, come together for the wedding of one of them. Sofia, a successful wedding planner, Rose, a disgraced swimmer, married now with a young baby, and Ellie, an actress who has just landed an amazing role. Ellie is getting married at an exclusive resort with the three women arrive earlier than the guests for some pre-wedding time together.

Someone is determined to ruin their lives: Sofia suddenly starts getting bad reviews; pictures emerge from Ellie’s past; and Rose suspects her husband of having an affair. This could be linked to something in their past, but how would anyone know since they made a vow to never speak of it again. There are some amazing red herrings and twists the will you hooked until the final page, wanting to know how or if it will work out for this trio of women keeping a deadly secret. As all is revealed is a reminder that all actions have consequences.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book, prior to purchase.
