when i started this book i was but unsure where it was going but that soon changed,
excellent read couldnt put it down.

This was an entertaining, fast paced, suspenseful read and I flew through it. The friendship group is very flawed and none of the characters were very likable but I did like that no matter what they were there for each other. This is written in dual timelines with us getting perspectives from all the girls from the incident 11 years ago to the present day of Ellies wedding. I couldn't put this down and I highly recommend.

Stefanie London’s The Vow is a gripping thriller that expertly blends dark secrets, suspense, and the complexities of female friendships. The story centers on three women—Sofia, Ellie, and Rose—who made a pact twelve years earlier to remain silent about a fateful night. Their past resurfaces at Ellie’s destination wedding, setting the stage for a tense weekend where old wounds, jealousy, and betrayal collide.
London’s writing skillfully escalates tension, keeping readers guessing with each twist. The combination of an idyllic wedding setting and simmering danger creates a compelling contrast, making every interaction feel loaded with suspense. The characters are multidimensional, with their secrets and motivations slowly unraveling, keeping the stakes high until the very end.
With themes of revenge, loyalty, and the darker side of friendship, The Vow is a perfect read for fans of psychological thrillers and domestic suspense. Every revelation feels earned, and the pacing ensures that the narrative remains unputdownable.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A thrilling, twisty, and suspenseful ride from start to finish.

I LOVE these type of thrillers! Three school friends make a vow to never speak of one night ever again. Then jump forward and of course secrets start unfolding. I couldn’t put this down!

I read this book last week, I remember that it's set in Australia and about a group of friends who vowed never to tell what they'd done but other than that I don't remember much about it.
It was enjoyable but clearly didn't leave that much of an impression!

Thanks netgalley and Stefanie London for this great book, loved it and kept me totally enthralled.
Three friends Sofia, Ellie and Rose had been friends since school, but when something happened that they could never talk about they made a vow to be very say anything and they all followed different paths and got on with their lives.
Sofia became a vert wealthy woman as a wedding organiser . Ellie became an actress and also had a very wealthy life style, Rose got married and had a little boy they were all happy, u til the wedding.
Sofia had organised all the arrangements and Ellie had picked a remote place to hold the wedding.
It was at this time that everything started going wrong and secrets were to come out for all of them
Great book loved it am eagerly waiting for another book by this brilliant author.

Really good book which I will recommend to others.
Thanks for the opportunity to read & review it.

Twisting Suspense..
The wedding of the year? Quite possibly. A destination wedding proves eventful for three friends reuniting and one of them the bride. Twisting suspense with a pacy plot littered with twists and populated with a credible cast of characters, a well imagined setting and a fast moving narrative. Entertaining and intriguing.

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for providing me with an advance copy of The Vow by Stefanie London in exchange for an honest review.
This was a truly gripping read from start to finish. The suspense was so well-paced that I found myself completely absorbed, always wanting to read “just one more chapter.” The twists and turns were clever and kept me guessing right up to the end, and I was genuinely surprised by how the story unfolded. The characters felt believable, the tension kept building, and the ending was both satisfying and unexpected.
A fantastic, twisty suspense novel that I would highly recommend to fans of psychological thrillers.

The Vow- three high school friends are coming together as one of them is getting married. Elle the movie star, Sofia the wedding planner and Rose the married mother. All of them share a secret that happened many years before while in high school and no matter how hard they try that secret is following them to a remote island for a wedding nobody will forget.
The plot of this book hooked me in, I love stories that are set in remote places with one way in and one way out. It gives it a more terrifying feel. The characters were easy to love or hate, some you hated more than others. I had a list of people I thought could be tormenting the three women and the person it ended up being was a shocker for me. In the end it was entertaining and a quick read!

Ellie, Rose and Sofia are bound by an invisible thread. A tragic set of events that occurred when they were still at high school.
Sofia is a high society wedding planner, Ellie a Hollywood star in the making, Rose, happy as a Mother and Wife should have been an Olympic athlete. But her sister Lucy is the one that gets to carry the torch.
Due to Ellie's Celebrity status her wedding is being held at an exclusive venue where the trio travel too a couple of days before they wedding to spend some time together.
It soon transpires that they are not alone, and someone knows what they did years ago, and is looking for revenge. Which is achieved by exposing each of their secrets in a very public way.
Ellie is accused of cheating on her Fiancé.
Sofia is accused of cheating on her husband on her wedding night, with Ellie's fiancé..
And Rose accused of doping prior to dropping from the Olympic circuit without a trace..
To an outsider, these things might be plausible. But these girls know each other inside out, they have already been through hell together. But who on earth would want to get revenge on them by wrecking a wedding?
But all is not as it seems, and each of them are in danger of unimaginable proportions.

A fast paced, easy read that has all the vibes of secrecy in friendships and trying to outrun the past.
I enjoyed the dual timelines and multiple narrators but didn’t really find anyone very likeable, which impacted on how I felt at the end, as I wasn’t that invested in the story.

I have been on a reading slump for a while and The vow really got me out of it. The vow is told in multiple POV'S and delves between the friendship of the 3 women, full of drama, suspense and secrets that are you trying to find out. An edge of your seat book that will is fast paced and really keeps you on your toes guessing. I would definitely recommend to anybody who enjoys psychological suspense thrillers, a fun read.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher Avon Books UK | Avon for the copy of this arc in exchange of my full honest review.

The Vow by Stefanie London was my first book by this author. It did not disappoint. I liked how the viewpoint was from each of the main characters-Ellie, Sofia, and Rose. I did have a hard time in the beginning keeping who was who, however I overcame this issue as I continued to read. Ellie is getting married which brings these three childhood friends together. Each is content with where their lives are. An incident from their childhood comes back to haunt them at the destination wedding. Many truths come out shocking the lives of all three women. I definitely didn’t anticipate the twist and turns of this story. This would be a great beach read for anyone looking for a good page turning thriller. Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins for allowing me to read this book.

A fast paced read that was addicting. I couldn't put it down and read in one sitting! The characters were flawed - I found them engaging and interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good thriller!

This was entertaining, fast paced and i thought the twists were good. I thought this was a good thriller.

Three women. One secret. A wedding weekend no one will forget.
Twelve years ago, Sofia, Ellie, and Rose made a promise:
1. Never talk about that night.
2. Never tell a soul.
3. Take the secret to the grave.
Now they’re reuniting for Ellie’s glamorous destination wedding — and someone is making them pay.
Unsettling messages.
Ominous threats.
Whispers of what they did.
But how could anyone know?
They kept the vow… didn’t they?
Why You’ll Be Obsessed:
Glamorous girlhood secrets gone violently wrong
A chilling “I Know What You Did” vibe with a luxury twist
Tension between old friends so thick it could cut cake
Twists that explode right when you start feeling safe
This isn’t your average beach read — it’s elegant, dangerous, and impossible to put down.
Everyone has a past. But some secrets?
They don’t stay buried.

WOW!!!!! Hooked from the first page and read this book in one sitting… Full of tension and suspense. A real page turner, a domestic noir but OMG so much more!!

Simple premise which is well written and enjoyable.
Really good mystery elements, with relatable relationships. I love the unreliable characters and I read it quickly because I had to know more.

Three friends gather for the wedding of one of them in a remote location where things start to go awry. I’m not going to rehash the plot. The story is told from the three different points of view and two timelines, one current and the other when they were at school. I found in both timelines the characters were immature, nevertheless the relationship dynamics were very well written and the story was engaging. However I found that during the tight writing of the dramatic scenes where my pulse was increased, there was a tendency to over describe or insert unnecessary information which slowed down the drama somewhat.
