Teagan Hunter delivered in this new romance book. She is a comfort author, who provided exactly what I expect of her books in the best of ways. I loved this book and highlight recommend everyone to pick it up.

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for an advanced audiocopy of Best Friends Never, in exchange for an honest review.
I just finished listening to this book, 'Best Friends for Never,' and it was like getting a warm hug! It's about Parker and Noel, who were totally tight back in the day, but then life happened. Parker went off to LA to chase his big dreams *and* big bucks while Noel stayed put.
Fast forward a bunch of years and Noel's back in their hometown because their old hangout, the local theater, is getting a major glow-up and a fancy new name. Guess who's in charge of the whole shebang? Parker! Talk about a reunion!
When these two see each other again it’s like BOOM fireworks! All those old feelings are still there, but it got even better. They spent ten years apart longing and their love just got stronger!
The story is about how they figure out where they belong and who they belong with. Both of them are worried about rocking the boat. But you just know that their destiny is to be together.
Honestly, I was rooting for these two from the start. There weren't any crazy twists or huge drama, but there was a whole lot of warm fuzzies. It was just a really feel-good listen. The people reading the book did an awesome job too – they really made Parker and Noel feel like real people! If you're looking for something sweet and comforting, give this one a shot! You won’t regret it!

This is a really sweet story - plain & simple. As someone who has only read Teagan Hunter's hockey romances, this is a bit of a departure. Still the same excellent story-telling and extremely enjoyable. I think the story came more to life with the audiobook, in dual narration by Lee Samuels & Emma Wilder, who are both excellent.
This story is a second chance romance for two former best friends, Noel & Parker. Noel, who is now a famous movie star, & Parker, the small-town girl who stayed behind. They had different dreams at 18 and when their paths veered in different directions, miscommunication & heartache stopped them from connecting again for 10 years. Now Noel is back in his small town for a theater being named after him, which is a project Parker is leading. As they reunite, they confront the past and the feelings that they never left behind...
This story is like a cup of hot chocolate on a cold night - warm, cozy & super sweet. These are two best friends who despite a decade of silence, pick up where they left off but now aren't shy to express their true feelings. As their relationship progresses over the 6 weeks that Noel is in town, both of them reevaluate what they want for their lives and come to a crossroads about whether their original paths are what they truly want. This book is filled with some great banter & I loved the supporting characters. Axel, Noel's childhood rival & Parker's business partner, really brings some great moments that push the story forward.
If you're looking for something reminiscent of Gilmore Girls vibe, this is perfect for you.

Best Friends For Never is a sweet second chance romance between childhood friends. It was definitely an easy read that kept me entertained although it had a few flaws for me which just made me not love it more. The fact that they hadn't spoken for 10 years for that reason was a little ridiculous, they were best friends, his grandma lives in the small town, he never came back to visit her like what ? You're supposed to be 2 mature adults and neither reached out to the other for truly stupid reasons. This is why a second chance romance is a make or break for me and this one was a break unfortunately.
I felt the characters lacked a little depth, their connection was too quick, there was no background where we could see what they had prior. The angst was next to nothing, I just wanted more from it. Apart from all of this it was still an enjoyable read, I stuck through it, I'm glad I did as it was still cute.
Overall, this was a sweet and easy read. Not my favorite, leaving me a little underwhelmed in certain parts, but I will definitely check out more of the author's work.
🎧 The narration by Lee Samuels & Emma Wilder was good. I enjoyed listening to them. I did find the female voice a little annoying at times with certain tones she was doing. It was still an enjoyable listen.
✨️Thank you to @netgalley, @brilliancepublishing & Teagan Hunter for my gifted ALC in exchange for an honest review.

Get ready for a swoon-fest with Hollywood Ending! 🎬
Parker’s on a mission to restore her town’s old theater—named after that guy, Noel Carter, the one who left to chase his Hollywood dreams and broke her heart in the process. Fast forward a decade, and surprise, Noel’s back for a big ceremony and Parker’s all sorts of mixed feelings.
But here’s the thing—Noel might be a Hollywood heartthrob now, but his nerves are real, especially with Parker in the picture. Cue the steamy chemistry, awkward (but adorable) moments, and a chance at a second chance romance that’ll make you melt. 😍
If you're looking for a sweet, funny, and totally charming read with just the right amount of drama, Hollywood Ending is your next must-read. Popcorn not included—but you’ll be too busy swooning to need it! 🍿💕

I love Teagan's books and I was excited to see her with another standalone not in the hockey world.
Parker and Noel were best friends their whole lives until Noel left for LA and never came back. Now 10 years later, he's back and Parker's world is turned upside down. Feelings she thought she had gotten over resurface with a vengeance.
I loved that it didn't take long for these two to move past their past and try to find common ground again. Noel was a genuinely nice guy not a Hollywood jerk like so many actors can be. When he is with Parker again he just small town Noel. Watching him rediscover that part of himself was all kinds of warm fuzzies.
Parker and Noel's story is a second chance love story that will give you all of the feels and leave you with a smile on your face. These best friends rekindling their friendship and starting their path to forever is one you won't want to miss.
I listened to the audio and the narrators nailed this one. I could hear all of the emotions and the longing and I just loved it. Well done!

Parker and Noel were everything to one another, until they weren't. Until his big dreams took him to LA and she stayed back in Washington, in their small town. He wanted her to come, but she didn't want to stand in the way of his dreams or worse.. get sick of her.
Now Noel is back and the theatre they once loved is getting an overhaul so it can reopen. A donor gave money to the project and requested that it be named after him. So while Parker is spearheading the project, she isn't sure how she is going to feel when Noel comes home for the dedication.
Immediately when they see one another there is a spark, a connection, a pull. The ten years that has gone by isn't there anymore and it is just them, back together, trying to navigate old and new feelings.
They were in love then, but the kind of love that has grown over the last ten years, just simmering waiting to boil over is what takes hold now. He's scared to ask her to come again, she's scared to ask him to stay, but they both know they can't live without the other.
I loved these two. You could feel just how in love they were from the moment they saw one another again. Those feelings never changed and needed to finally be released. I really loved that in no way at the end did I even question if they would end up together. It was low angst but high on swoon. 4.5 stars.
These narrators knocked it out of the park.
Thanks to Brilliance, Netgalley and Teagan for an ALC.

I have read all of Teagan Hunter’s hockey romances and they were all 3-4 stars, however this second-chance small town romance fell flat for me. Still has great writing and I did not cringe at all (which is why it was not a 1 star because I tend to cringe a lot during Romances). There was no angst, no banter, no tension that led up to the “second-chance” part of the plot for me. I wish there were some flashbacks to get to know their story better from when they were younger and less meddling from the grandma and mom lol.
Thank you net galley and brilliance publishing for this ALC!

Small town second chance romance with a touch of spice. Ex best-friends to lovers Parker and Noel stay true to somany good rom-com troupe's it's hard for this book not to be great. The behind the door scene was not expected but keeps pace with the spicer books on the market now, and can I say it was GOOD!

Noel Carter is returning to Emerald Grove after leaving ten years ago to persue an acting career. The old theater is going to be refurbished after a heafty donation and the renaming to the Noel Carter Theater. Parker Pruitt and her buisness partner /best friend Axel are the ones that are going to renovate the theater a dream of Parker's for years. How ever seeing Noel again brings back all the feeling she had before back. Not wanting another heartache Parker tries to not let him back into her life. Noel was once Parker's best friend and is now angry that Axle has replaced him since he was know as a bully while they were kids. The longer that Nowl stays in Emerald Grove the harder it will be for him to leave Parker all over again. With time running out since he is due to start filming a new movie Noel must make the hardest decision of his life. His life as movie star or keeping Parker in his life. I would like to thank both NetGalley and Brilliance Audio for letting me listen to an advanced copy of Best Friends for Never.
