The Dead Never Forget is an entertaining detective crime novel with Peter Bragg, an ex-reporter being hired by an ex-mobster (really can you ever be an ex-mobster) to find someone who is trying to murder him. There are much gang rivalry, shootings, and intense scenes. Overall it keeps your interest to the end.

This is a great old school detective novel and a great start to a series. I really liked the character of Bragg and hope to read more about him. The plot was good and kept me interested.
