Cute, fun, and largely impractical, The Picnic is an intentionally over-the-top guide to picnics for people with more friends and time and less seasonal weather than what I've got. If you've never been on a picnic, this is NOT the book for you; it's more Junior League than quick bite at the beach with the kids.
