Marcus Hünnebeck’s *Mark of Cain* is a gripping thriller that explores themes of crime, revenge, and moral ambiguity. The plot moves steadily, with enough twists to keep readers engaged.
At the same time, some characters feel underdeveloped, and the story occasionally leans on familiar genre tropes. It’s an entertaining read for thriller fans, though it doesn’t quite stand out in a crowded field.
