I unfortunately did not realise this was book 4 in the series when requesting it, I am working through the rest of the series first and then will be back to review this one.

This is my favorite series of all time and having it on audio brought me so much joy! Each character was perfectly delivered. This being the final book of the series, my heart is full of so many emotions. It was an emotional ride to say the least, but it all comes full circle. I just feel so lucky to have my favorite brought to life in my ears 🥹

AN INCREDIBLE END to one of the most beautiful stories I've ever read in my life. While Sheila's words are what kindled the magic, the depth, and the romance of this series, the cast of narrators that brought this story to life made this a beautiful, immersive experience that helped reshape my love for these characters I've known and loved for years.

The Godless Kingdom sees our merry band of world-changing badasses fighting for themselves and their kingdoms against the tyranny of villainy and shitty, meddling gods, and while the action feels tripled in this installment, there is no trade-off on the romance or the emotional depth of the story. AND THE WAY IT ENDS!!! I was fully sobbing into my yoga mat listening to this. Beautiful narration, beautiful writing, and a beautiful end to a series that will absolutely be my comfort series for years to come. I'm so glad to have it in audiobook form so I never have to live without it.

It took me a minute to review this book as I didn’t realize it was the 4th book in a series and boy was I taken on a ride to get here. Cannot recommend this series enough and the audio book was *chefs kiss*

I LOVED book 1 and wanted to strangle Cecelia through books 2 and 3. Still, I jumped at getting this ARC and I’m so happy I did! I loved having the POV from so many other characters throughout the novel as well.

Thank you for allowing me an ARC of The Godless Kingdom. I really enjoyed listening to this audio book and finally completing this series. I’m so thankful that all the questions left in answered in book 3 came together for a perfect ending. I will be in a book hangover now for sure!

The final installment of Shiela Masterson’s The Lost God series is every bit the emotional roller coaster ride that return readers should have come to expect from Shiela and this collection by this point. I verbatim commented “bring the pain” on a post the author made about this release, and she certainly did not shy away from doing just that.

That said, there were a world of full circle moments for the series as a whole, and it truly was a beautiful culmination of the long and arduous journey these characters have taken us on.

I’ve said it before, but I’ve got to say it again. The narrators of this series did an incredible job bringing this story to life. This audio had me in such an emotional state the entire way through, giving those same feelings that I had reading it for the first time, and reminding me all over again why these characters have every bit of my heart and this series will always be a favorite.

I just finished The Godless Kingdom by Sheila Masterson, and wow, what a ride! This audiobook pulled me in right from the start with its rich worldbuilding, compelling characters, and a narrator who absolutely nailed the tone. The story balances tension, magic, and political intrigue so well, and I loved how the relationships unfolded along the way. If you're into fantasy with morally complex characters and a gripping plot, definitely check this one out!

I love this. It is a little longer than my usual reads and I haven't been able to focus on things lately. But the narration is wonderful!

This was a good fantasy book about gods and goddesses but a more mortal approach it also has amazing chemistry between all characters the only reason why this audiobook didn't get 5 ⭐️ is it started slow

This book remains my new second favourite book (book 3 is my favourite). First time listening to the audiobook, and holy hell the narrators all do a FANTASTIC JOB! I want to reiterate I will listen over and over again. THE NARRATION IS AMAZING! Caitlin does such a good job with Cece and she helps to convey all the emotions from the series so beautifully.
The 3 male voices are so distinct it’s so easy to tell them apart, and they also do an excellent job of showing emotions and different characters’ voices through their voices.

Amazing character development. Mental health struggles.. I have said it before and I will say it again… Be prepared to be hit by the Sheila-bus! It’s a wonderfully heartbreaking experience 💔❤️😍

I took my time with this one, knowing it’s the last book in The Lost God series. These characters hold such a special place in my heart. Sheila has done an amazing job at making complex characters and a great story arc. I’m sad the series is over, but the ending was so satisfying so I can’t be too sad.

This series has my heart and soul and this book is my favorite in the series. The story is so heartbreaking and heartwarming and I wish it never ended, but this is truly the perfect end. The narrators delivered a wonderful performance through all 4 books and made this journey even more impactful.

I made the mistake of requesting this book without fully reading the description and didn't realize this was part of a series. That being said, I am still rating this a solid 4 stars because I got about a good way through the opening chapters of this book before I had to admit defeat and go and add the ENTIRE series to my digital TBR. I will absolutely be follow up on this series. Since I did not read the entire book, I will not be posting a review to my socials out of respect for the author. It's not a fair review if I haven't read the whole book.

The Godless Kingdom written by Sheila Masterson and narrated by Caitlin Kelly; Will Damron; Tim Campbell; Rusty Mewha was a juicy and exciting listen from NetGalley. I love multiple narrators. The audio experience is enhanced tenfold when the depth of additional narrators is offered.

The Godless Kingdom is such a roller coaster. I mislistened the order of the series but it did not detract from the enjoyment of the world and the characters. I will absolutely be making sure the entire series is read in full.

Cecilia and Rainer are everything. There are so many characters but not too many to keep up with the story. Cecilia is what an FMC should be in all books. Five stars and spice on top.

Absolute perfection as always. Sheila's world is a place I wish I could live. This entire series has been so amazing. I have loved listening to the audio on my commute to work. I'm seriously obsessed. Everyone needs to read this series, immediately.
