I really really enjoyed this book. I'm not sure if it was a debut but it was a fun, light, magical read that was exactly what I needed. The world building was complex but just enough for a standalone book. I think there could be more stories set in this world but I was happy with the conclusion so I wouldn't be upset if this is all we get in this world.

The audiobook was really engaging as well and I thought the narrator really matched the excitement and pace of the story well.

I would definitely read more from Sasa Hawk and would continue this if it became a series. Again, it doesn't need to be a series but the world does have a ton of potential for more which is always fun for me as a reader to dive into.
