The tension and banter in this book was to die for and I ate every second of it up. The relationship dynamic is full of push and pull moments and a rivals to lovers trope that I personally love in a romance.

Modern day you’ve got mail.
Summer is the owner of a romance book store. The store has been in her family for years. Wes is a big boss at a big time bookstore. They hate each other and the story shows how they battle each other showing their hate.
It’s flirting really…
Summer goes on vacation, when her twin sister Autumn shows up with Randy her new boyfriend and Wes younger brother, and…. Of course Wes.
Summer and Wes get grouped together for some vacation games and start to learn they had the other pegged wrong.

This is a fun short read heart for if your looking to break up the heavier reading with something lighter!

The story was cute and entertaining. I couldn't put it down. The romance and chemistry were incredible, and the banter was phenomenal. I really loved the main characters of the story and the rivals to lovers trope. I loved the pacing also, as it never dragged. I smiled a lot whilst reading because of how cute the main character was.

I think the banter was the best part of the book. The flirting was dynamite.

It was light and easy to read and would be a great book in between heavier series.

There were some editing and formatting issues I would hope to be cleared up by release. I also had a hard time with some of the references to people and movies; they were so old I had a hard time remembering a clear picture of what those things meant. I was a kid in the 90s, so a lot of the references I knew about, but I had no idea what they "looked" like. Maybe adding a little more context clues to what we were picturing would have helped. There were also jumps in dialog that made no sense and some other errors in the writing. But all of these were minor things, and most should be fixed by release.

The only other comments I have would be it's a bit predictable, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for romance, and it doesn't go too deep. They do have some emotional growth, but it fell slightly flat in this area.

I'd recommend to anyone looking for a quick romance with an easy story and some spice. It'll definitely give you some laughs and make you giddy.
