Initial thoughts:
This was an good, uplifting little novel!
Plot:
Julie is on a road trip, which she hopes will help her heal after a recent tragedy. She finds herself in a small town called Forget-Me-Not when her car breaks down. As typical in a small town, all the residents pull together to help her while her car waits to be fixed; providing her with lodging and friendship. She instantly feels connected to them, and starts becoming close.
Recently divorced Tallulah has two daughters and lives with her grandfather in Forget-Me-Not. She is working toward rebuilding her life after moving back to town. As a library assistant she is dealing with a standoffish boss and a nettlesome, library cat. Struggling to trust, Tallulah isn't sure what to think about Julie initially.
As Julie and Tallulah develop a friendship they begin to find happiness again with the help of the community and the library's meddlesome cat.

Once again, Heather Webber makes me want to move to a small town and love amongst her characters. Her novels are full of heart, humor and a touch a magic. I love that this novel centers on two women finding themselves “lost” in very different ways, and the magic of the town guides them to their path. The characters are real and lovable.

Forget-Me-Not is the kind of town we all wish we could find when our world feels like it’s falling apart. The cast of characters quickly feels like friends who become family. Webber is a master of creating characters and settings that feel like the homes our hearts yearn for.

I'm a longtime Heather Webber fan. This one was sweet and easy, but not my favorite. She tried juggling too many things and didnt pull any if them off fully. I loved the premise and quirky characters.

This book was more than cozy, it was like escaping to a place with characters that hugged you. I loved my time reading this. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take a quick escape.

Thank you NetGalley for the early read of this magical book.. Heather Webber , the author ‘s writing draws us into the library with ForgetMe Not flowers around it.,books that are chosen by a cat. Juliet’s car breaks down and she ends up in this town that apparently is there for the lost of heart.. A must read for anyone that loves magic, the library, and people that care about one another! Thanks to Heather Webber📚

My love for Heather Webber books started early this year with Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe and went from there. I'm caught up officially with all of her novels. I have yet to give any of them anything below 5 Stars. Idk what she puts in her books but they are ALL addictive.
This one is the same. I have found sweet similarities in her novels but this is the first time I felt there was an on purpose connection to all her novels.
I absolutely loved this story and all the characters. So well written and I just cannot say enough good things about this book and all of her books!!
Thank you NetGalley and Heather Webber for this opportunity to read this book.

I started this book not realizing that I’d have to deal with not one, but two, romantic plot lines. The description reads as if this is a friendship story, but 33% in and there’s too much romance foreshadowing for me. I do like the accurate library setting though. So there’s that. Gave an extra star because the writing itself is decent.

This book is a delight! It is the ultimate cozy read, and it is perfect for fall and winter. The characters are charming, and there are themes of found family, love of books, and community. I loved the way this sweet little town supported its visitors and helped them through whatever brought them to the town. If you like Sarah Addison Allen's books, you'll love this. Just a hint of magical realism mixed with cozy vibes. I loved it!

Overall, this was another well written feel-good story by Heather Webber. As I have read many of her other books, this one was pretty easy to predict but still ticked all the right boxes for a non-spicy romance/cozy mystery. I loved Tallulah and her story, and as a librarian I really enjoyed all the aspects of library life that were worked into this book. I did not really relate to Julie, though, and found her character lacking substance.
The reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because of the totally predictable but yet unrealistic gay love-backstory. I have seen Heather Webber add gay characters into her books slowly over time, usually as a side character or neighbor unrelated to the plot. This time though it's central to the story, as it relates to how Julie ended up in Forget-me-not to begin with. With that being said, the whole Rennie and Walt story just didn't work for me and felt forced.

I always enjoy Heather Webber’s books, and this one was no exception. I especially love that her stories are set in Alabama—my home state—which makes them feel even more special. Her books are such a warm and welcoming break from the mystery/thrillers I usually read.
In this story, people find themselves in this town right when they need to, discovering the guidance, healing, or answers they’ve been searching for. They leave when the time is right, and I loved how magical and meaningful that felt.
The characters were all so lovable, and that’s a big part of why I couldn’t put this book down. It’s one I’ll definitely be recommending to my friends and library patrons!

The Forget-Me-Not Library is a moving title that mixes a bit of magic and whimsy while layering in the need to embrace the memories that make you you.
Juliet Nightingale (great name for a nurse!) is lost. A freak lightning strike killed her grandfather and left her with no memories of him or most of her past. She has embarked on a drive to places that were important to him hoping to find herself again. Her car breaking down in Forget-Me-Not, Alabama, may be the answer she didn't know she needed.
Forget-Me-Not is an interesting place where people in need of healing find themselves. If they are open to it, a cat at the local library will serve up a memory in the form of a dropped book.
Not everyone in need of healing arrives the same way Juliet does. Some travel there of their own volition. Like single mom Tallulah Byrd Mayfield who works at the library and refuses to look at any book the cat knocks over. However, she soon becomes friends with Juliet as Tallulah's grandfather has them both under his roof.
Perfect read for people who enjoy books set in a small town, elements of magic, and a focus on relationships.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the electronic advance reader copy to review. All opinions are my own.

This was such an uplifting story about grief, coping, second chances and chance encounters that can impact our lives forever. This is a story that will make you think, make you cry, laugh….all the feels! Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for my gifted copy in exchange for a honest review!

I never read any kind of books that have a mystical storyline, EXCEPT for Heather Webber's books. This one was so enchanting.... I loved it.
Definitely was a light hearted, suspend your disbelief about how things managed to work themselves out, but the twists were so interesting and characters lovable.

Heather Webber’s books are warm, comforting and magical. I’ve loved all the ones I’ve read, including this one. Juliet and Tallulah are wonderful characters, but there are also other great characters, including, but not limited to Katy, Tenn and Maeve. The town of Forget Me Not is a place I’d love to live, especially with the Forget Me Not Library and Deckle, the magical cat. This is a book that will stay with me for a long time.

I really enjoyed the idea of the town being magic, bringing in the people who need to be there, and helping them along the way. The fact that in Forget-me-not the magic of the town is an open secret is really fun. The setting was the best part for me.
I found the characters a little flat, the character development was predictable. The happily ever after were predictable. Sometimes that can be nice but it ended up feeling like there were no stakes at all, and it became a little hard to read.
I did really like Tallulah, and Katy. katy actually read as the most realistic character in the book for me. She reminded me of my own daughter and was sweet to read.

The Forget-Me-Not Library was like a warm, crackling fire on a cold winter day—it truly warmed my heart and soul. While this isn’t the first book I’ve read by Heather Webber, there was something special about the characters, setting, and overall story that deeply resonated with me.
I fell in love with both Juliet Nightingale and Tallulah Byrd, each for different reasons. Juliet arrives in Forget-Me-Not, Alabama on a road trip, seeking healing after a lightning strike erased her early childhood memories. Tallulah, a recently divorced mom raising two daughters, is also trying to find her way. Their stories are relatable, and full of emotional depth.
The town of Forget-Me-Not and its library are central to the story, adding a layer of magical realism that, while not usually my genre, felt uplifting and meaningful. It’s less about fantasy and more about the idea that good things happen when we’re true to ourselves and willing to take risks.
Beyond Juliet and Tallulah, the book is filled with memorable supporting characters who touched my heart and lingered with me long after I finished reading. It’s a feel-good story that doesn’t shy away from real-life issues like grief, trauma, and second chances.
If Forget-Me-Not were a real town, I’d be planning a road trip—especially during the Flour Festival!

Another magical, heartwarming tale by Heather Webber. If you’ve read her other work and enjoyed it, you’ll enjoy this. It’s sweet & incredibly likable. The characters, the storyline, & the town are all comforting & enjoyable to read about.

Was an okay book. I had a hard time developing relationships with the characters. It was a quick read and was a good pallet cleanser.

Every year around this time, I find myself yearning for autumn and all the cozy reads that come with it. And, oh, do I have the PERFECT feel-good book that you'll want to add to your fall lineup! The Forget-Me-Not Library took me by surprise and completely stole my heart, readers. With a dash of romance and a sprinkling of magic, this book exudes warmth and coziness. I loved the sense of community between these pages. I fell so hard for each of these characters, in fact, that I found myself craving small-town living akin to the charming Forget-Me-Not, Alabama. An enchanted library, a wise and loveable library cat, and goodwill around each corner...all while having depth and substance? Yes, please. I suspect I'll be recommending this one over and over again for comfort reading perfection.
