Awesome book! I'd "forgotten" that there can be a happily ever after for all like in this book. I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down.

I loved everything about this book. It was told with two storylines, both strong women who are dealing with loss in their lives. It was well written, flowed seamlessly between the two characters and left you feeling so joyful. No one does magical realism like this author does. It was emotional, heartwarming, uplifting and more. The characters showed the best of humanity and small town living. Truly I could not love it any more than I did. Highly recommend

"The Forget Me Not Library" is an exceedingly charming novel with elements of magical realism, romance, and lots of feel good vibes. I was charmed from the start and really enjoyed this book!
This novel follows two women whose lives intersect at an unexpected time in each of their lives. Juliet's car breaks down in a town that was supposed to be a quick detour from her road trip... but ends up being more than just a quick stop. Tallulah is a recently divorced single mom of two, who recently moved back to the town of Forget-Me-Not, where she had fond memories growing up and enjoying time with her grandparents. The two women find friendship and connection with each other and with the other charming residents of the tightnit community.
The writing is funny, moves at a fast pace, and sprinkles mystery and intrigue from the start. The characters are so likable and you are rooting for them right away. I really enjoyed getting their alternating perspectives and loved how the story gently unfolded.
This book is such a balm and feel-good read that is sure to cheer up any reader and get you out of a reading slump. If you've enjoyed stories like Matt Haig's "Midnight Library" and TJ Klune's "Under the Whispering Door," this will be right up your street.
Loved this and will be recommending it to several friends right away!
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for early access to this book in exchange for an honest review.

The book's cover immediately drew me in. I had no idea there would be such a lovely story inside. It's a positive and inspirational story that made me smile.
This is an intriguing novel with endearing characters and wonderful friendships. The two leading characters struck me as being eccentric, charming, and compassionate. This book is about second chances, healing, and developing human relationships while discovering your own purpose and meaning in life! I loved the small-town atmosphere. It's a delightful read with a hint of magic.

Thank you Netgally for allowing me to read this book super early.
i love Heather Webbers books, they are filled with so much heart and soul and you cant help but fall in love with all the characters in the book.
This one allows us to fall in love with a town and a library that shows us things from the past to help us move onto the future and where we are supposed to be (if only we had that in real life)
This is a must read

The Forget-Me-Not Library was a terrific book that I can't wait to recommend to my friends and book club!
After an accident killed her grandpa and a need to get away, Juliet finds herself with a broken down car in small town Forget-Me-Not. Helped by the town residents, not with just her car, but with a landing spot to stay in while she heals.
Tallulah and her daughters are staying with her grandpa after her divorce and she gets a job at the library. While there she and Juliet meet and a friendship is formed.
With terrific secondary characters and of course, the cat that seems to know exactly what you need to read, Ms. Webber weaves a tale that is fantastic, sweet, and just we need in this harsh world that we're all living in. Friendship, love, and good people are just what we need and the author brings them all together in this book.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for this ARC, all opinions are obviously my own.

The Forget-Me-Not Library is another hit for Heather Webber. Her novels never disappoint and always entertain. I enjoyed all the characters and loved this small town setting. I even cried a couple of times. Thanks Net Galley!

My thanks to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for an ARC of this novel to review.
This is a tale of detours that transform into new pathways. The story moves back and forth between the two principal female characters, Juliet and Tallulah. Juliet Nightingale was nearly killed when lightning struck as she and her beloved grandfather took their customary walk. When she woke up in the hospital, she was faced with a double loss: both of her grandfather, who died instantly, and of her memories of him. Snippets come to her, often in dreams, but they are more tormenting than reassuring. Leaving her Michigan home for a solo road trip before deciding whether to pursue a graduate nursing degree, she decides to take a solo road trip. She has no clue that, when car trouble forces her to pause in tiny Forget-Me-Not, Alabama, she is going to find not only her lost memories but her true self.
Tallulah Byrd Mayfield, recently divorced and having a hard time coming to terms with single-parenting two young daughters, has temporarily moved in with her big-hearted grandfather, Tenn Greenlee, and taken a job in the Forget-Me-Not Library of the title. Both women are in critical transitional stages.
As it happens, Juliet’s car breaks down in front of Tenn’s house. What starts as neighborly act, in which Tenn calls the only mechanic in town, quickly leads to Juliet staying wth the family. It’s not just an overnighter—car parts are mysteriously hard to locate and Juliet effectively settles in. She helps with the children, becomes best friends with Tallulah, volunteers at the hospice, and gets increasingly attached to the lovely locals. She even starts a tentative relationship with the head librarian’s nephew, who has just moved back to town. Tallulah also becomes friendly with a young man whose situation exactly copies Juliet’s—his car mysteriously broke down while driving by the town and he’s obliged to stay a while.
In the midst of all this is the magical mystical library, ostensibly presided over by the enigmatic Evanthe, but in fact ruled by the resident cat, Deckle. Deckle has a secret power. She ‘reads’ the future for some of the library denizens, with an uncanny accuracy. And she has her own cat-like way of making sure they get the message.
There is a whimsy to Heather Webber’s writing, just a touch short of magical realism, that makes even cynical readers willingly suspend belief. Her characters are good but not off-puttingly perfect. Her stories are romantic but have enough of real life to prevent them going over the line into saccharine territory. The main characters know their own flaws and learn important lessons. The only part I would have liked trimmed had to do with Juliet’s family. Although they use their worry for her as their excuse, they infantilize her and are truly suffocating, especially her mother. This is a feel-good book and the ending is pretty predictable. But it doesn’t come about in quite the predictable way!

The Forget-Me-Not Library is a thought provoking read. The characters are exactly the types to live in a small southern town. This book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. I could not put this book down!! I've read it 4 times already and will read it again.

With a dash of magical realism, this novel is a cozy, heartwarming hug with memorable characters and outstanding charm. I loved the premise and how the stories connect together.

This is a lovely book about life in a small town. Told through the stories of two main characters, with many others woven in. For some reason I had a little trouble keeping the parents straight of each of the main characters - who belong to who.. But that was a minor detail. I thought I might not enjoy the magical realism, but really it's very sweet and not necessarily a huge part of the story. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC.

I am a fan of Heather Webber books, but this story did not have the usual essence of the author's previous books. The plot didn't grab me this time around, it was lacking emotional depth compared to her other books. The magic didn't feel as well integrated and the characters were not as interesting.

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
3 enthusiastic stars! I really enjoyed this story which had a cozy, satisfying feel to it. I loved the cast of characters, the multiple plot lines regarding healing family relationships, the gentle love stories, and just a touch of magic.
No profanity or sex.

I really enjoyed this charming breath of fresh air of a book. The small town with all of its quirky residents, the protective and helpful magic in the air and the focal point of the library really endeared me to the story. All in all, this was the ideal feel-good read.
My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I was so excited to be given a chance to read this book for a review. When Juliet's car breaks down in Forget Me Not, Alabama, her life is about to change for the better. When the friendly town-folk start to feel like family, and a magical cat in the library helps her remember forgotten memories, she realizes this is the place she wants to call home. I loved the southern small-town charm, the romance, and the gentle touch of magic throughout the story. This is a charming book that kept me turning pages. Thanks to one of my favorite authors, Heather Webber, St. Martin's Press, and NetGalley. I received a complimentary copy of this ebook. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Sometimes you just really need a feel-good story, and Heather Webber always delivers! The F0rget-Me-Not Library is not just about a library (with a magical cat!) but about an entire small town that helps the broken-hearted heal. Lovely characters and a very quick read.

Loved this book! Such an adorable and unique story. I enjoyed reading about this sweet friendly town and the legend surrounding the library cats.

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
Forget-Me-Not, Alabama, is a magical town. Most people born here never leave and most people who come here end up staying. For Tallulah, it was an easy choice to move back home with her girls after her divorce. Returning has its perks – she got a good job working at the local library and lots of her grandparents’ friends to help raise her girls. But when two strangers show up in town in one day, she had no idea how much it would change her world.
Best-selling author Heather Webber is back with her latest magical small-town romance in The Forget-Me-Not Library. Known for weaving avian symbolism into her works alongside other magical realism, Webber draws readers in with realistic characters and keeps them enchanted with beautiful scenes that leap off the page. This is a book about being in the right place at the right time and seeing the beauty of what’s around you. This is a story about being brave enough to take the risk for what you want the most.
I give The Forget-Me-Not Library 5 out of 5 stars. I fell in love with the main characters in the first chapter for so many reasons. The little girl who loved to read in trees, who named those trees, and who cried when they were cut down – that reminds me so much of my oldest. After a few close calls with lightning myself, it was interesting reading about someone else with astraphobia and panic attacks connected to it. But my all-time favorite part of this book is the library cat who selects the perfect book for you to get the perfect lost memory through bibliosmia. I loved the way Webber worked in the reference to birds in this novel and how it helped the characters heal, and the general magic throughout this novel will pull at your heart.
If you have loved Webber’s other works like Midnight at the Blackbird Café or last year’s A Certain Kind of Starlight, you will love this book! I would also recommend this book if you enjoy works by authors such as Alice Hoffman or Ann Patchett, I think you would enjoy any of Heather Webber’s works. With references to death and medical emergencies, this story may hit a little close to home for some readers, but I do think this would be appropriate for most readers over 16.
Again, I was excited to see The Forget-Me-Not Library on Netgalley – I have been eagerly waiting on Webber’s next release since finishing her last! I adore the cover art for this novel – the beautiful forget me not flowers, the books and bike, the heart bringing a little bit of magic. Webber brings beautiful stories to life and this book is no different.

I really enjoyed this book. It was such a comforting read, with found family, a small town that was everything you'd want in a small town, and romance. I loved the characters, the library, and Deckle the cat. It was heartwarming and magical, and I had a great time reading it.
Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Having lost her way and her memories after a lightening strike that left her grandfather dead, Juliet hits the road. When she comes to a detour and winds up in Forget-Me-Not, strange things begin to happen and her memory starts to return. Good storyline with very likeable characters. When a story elicits an emotional response, you know it's a good one.
