Captivating from page 1, you are transported to a special time and place, with whimsy and sass only the South can portray. An inspiring trip on a less-traveled road with a nudge or shove from fate to ensure you get there. If only real life could deem you worthy of divine intervention..Hearfelt read -The PEARLS are clutch, Ms Webber !!

4.25 This book has many things to love….quirky characters, small town life, growing friendships, and a bit of magic. My favorite part was the library, staff, and patrons. I enjoyed seeing the community adopt a new resident and take care of their own. I’d love to live in such an idyllic place!

I really loved The Forget-Me-Not Library. The world building was so vivid. I felt like I truly lived in that small town for a little while. The characters were fleshed out and believable, and I found myself genuinely caring about what happened to them. It’s such a sweet, comforting book, and it reminded me how important it is to have friends and a connected community. Connection really is everything, and this story captured that beautifully. A little bit of magic in real life. Juliet finds her car broken down on a road trip after she losing her grandfather and her memory. Juliet moves in with Tallulah to look after her two children while her car is being fixed. Both women learn to trust each other and become friends in this magical town where everyone looks after each other. I loved the words of wisdom at the start of each chapter from the town people. One of my favorite authors. Thanks NetGalley.

Juliet and Tallulah are both single women looking for…something. Both have ended up in this magical town that seems to know what they need before they do. Complete with a library cat who helps them remember, fantastic side characters and a little romance, this was a fun read!
I highly recommend this read for fans of comeback stories and those who live in the South {or wish they did - bless their hearts!}

This was such a heartwarming read! This town was so adorable I wish it was real. The dual POVs between Tallulah and Juliet was perfect. I loved seeing their friendship blossom. I want a million more of these for the cozy vibes. If you love the found family trope you’ll love this!

Juliet and Tallulah are wonderful, flawed characters. They meet in the small, charming town of Forget-Me-Not, Alabama, which glows with Southern charm and appeal. Watch out for that colored smoke! 🥰
The library is magical with the resident cat, Deckle who can lead you to just the right book for you! The supporting characters are vividly portrayed and enjoyable. What a great town to live in! I highly recommend this novel.
I honestly reviewed a digital arc provided by NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press. All opinions are my own.

this book follows Juliet Nightingale, who embarks on a solo road trip after a life-changing accident, and Tallulah Byrd Mayfield, a newly single mom adjusting to a new life. When their paths cross in the small town of Forget-Me-Not, Alabama, both women find unexpected healing and rediscover the magic in life's new chapters. Their meeting becomes a turning point, proving that happiness can always be found again.

The Forget-Me-Not Library by Heather Webber is a beautifully written, heartwarming tale that blends magical realism with emotional depth and Southern charm. Webber masterfully crafts a story of family, grief, healing, and the mysterious connections that bind people together, all set against the atmospheric backdrop of a small Alabama town.
The dual timelines and alternating perspectives between the two main characters, Emeline and Emily, are handled gracefully, weaving a rich tapestry of secrets and discoveries. The magical elements—especially the mysterious library and the significance of the forget-me-not flowers—are enchanting without overshadowing the emotional core of the story.
Webber’s writing shines most in her ability to create a sense of place and community, making readers feel as though they’re right there in the garden or poring over the pages of a forgotten book. Though the pacing lags slightly in the middle and a few plot elements feel somewhat predictable, the payoff is worth it, offering a touching and satisfying conclusion.
Overall, The Forget-Me-Not Library is a tender, magical journey of love, loss, and rediscovery. Fans of emotional fiction with a sprinkle of whimsy will find much to enjoy here.

Heather Webber is one of my favorite magical realism authors. Her books draw the reader in and make you want to be a part of the perfect little communities she creates. The little bit of magic sprinkled throughout adds the perfect touch to a beautiful book. Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the ARC.

Forget-Me-Not, Alabama — a small Southern, semi-magical, town that is a haven for the “emotionally lost”. A wonderfully distracting romance of the sweet variety — the magic of close ties, the comfort of home, and the connections that remind us of the good that pervades communities. No bodice ripping, no excessive drama, just real people making their way through life with the aid of a town bent on healing (and the bibliosmia found in the local library via Deckle the library cat!). Well-written, relatable and likable characters, and a richly satisfying conclusion.

The Forget-Me-Not Library by Heather Webber takes place in the small town of Forget-Me-Not, where legend has it that you'll be stranded if there's something missing in your life. When Juliet arrives in town and her car does with a puff of blue smoke, she doesn't know this, but soon learns of the legend and wonders why she landed here. She is taken in by a local family and is treated like one of their own, meeting the granddaughter Tallulah who is also seeking something new in her life after a difficult divorce. A wonderful, feel good story you won't want to miss!
Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

Juliet is on a summer road trip after surviving a lightening strike that took her grandfather's life. Her car breaks down in Forget-Me-Not, Alabama, in front of a household where Tallullah Mayfield is living with her grandfather and daughters. The town is a peculiar one, with residents whom have always lived there and others who have had their vehicles break down there as well. The story weaves along, the two form a tight bond, and well as others in the town becoming important to Juliet. A sweet read, one that I would like to see a sequel or another book set in the same town written. Thanks to NetGalley, Ms Webber, and St Martin's Press for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Two women suffering a loss in life, a town that has a mysterious way of finding those who are lost, and a library cat who is more than meets the eye.
Juliet Nightingale has survived a traumatic freak lightening strike and it's left a hole in her life. She sets off on a solo road trip, hoping to find what is missing. Tallulah Byrd had it all but when her husband leaves her, she and her two daughters move back in with her grandfather and she starts a job at the library. This isn't just any library though - forgotten memories wait in the books. A road detour and a broken down car lead Juliet into Tallulah's life and the two women find magic not just in the journey ahead but in the beauty of the memories from before.
OH MY HEART. This is such a sweet, gentle book, perfect for warm spring days or cool autumn nights and any weather in between. I didn't want to leave Forget-Me-Not, Alabama. I wanted to step into this world of a small town filled with love, openness, and just a hint of magic.
The story is told from two POVs - Juliet and Tallulah - and Webber strikes a beautiful balance between each voice - they are unique but you can see the similarities that draw the women to each other.
What made this book for me is how little gratuitous external conflict was involved.
Miscommunication was used sparingly (thankfully!) and the majority of conflict lay within our two protagonists, which is What made this book for me is how little gratuitous external conflict was involved.
Miscommunication was used sparingly (thankfully!) and the majority of conflict lay within our two protagonists, which is exactly where I want it! I love to see characters struggle and grow without outside forces unnecessarily causing drama. Character driven stories are my absolute favorite.
This is the second ARC l've read recently that I finished and then pre-ordered a physical copy. It's one of those books l'll turn to over and over again when I need a comforting read.
Thank you so much@stmartinspress for the ARC!
