This was exactly the kind of small-town, second-chance romance that makes you want to curl up with a blanket and forget about the real world for a while. I loved Jillian and Levi from the start. You could just feel the history between them bubbling under the surface, and watching those old feelings come back to life gave me the biggest smile. Jillian is such a strong, determined single mom who clearly loves her daughter and her peaceful life, but it is obvious from the start that she is still guarding her heart. And then Levi shows up, all sweet and charming and carrying some baggage of his own. The way they circled around each other and slowly let those walls down felt really honest and heartfelt.

The town of Smile was so cozy and welcoming, and the setting at the lodge was such a fun backdrop. I loved how involved Levi got in the lodge’s summer prep and how he really made an effort to rebuild his connections. The chemistry between him and Jilly felt real and steady. Nothing too over-the-top or overly dramatic, just two people finding their way back to each other after life pulled them apart. Their moments with Jilly’s daughter Ollie were some of my favorites. They added this extra layer of sweetness that made everything even more wholesome.

It was a little predictable in places, but honestly I did not mind one bit. It gave me what I came for. Sweet moments, second chances, a soft romance that still tugged at my heart a little. If you are in the mood for something comforting and full of heart with a little splash of heat, this one is a great pick.

2.5/5 Stars! Thank you NetGalley and RBmedia for this audiobook of Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan, narrated by Allyson Morgan.

Sorry for my late response on this one, I can't positively say that this was a hit with me. I wasn't exactly sure if it was the audio recording but I was confused on the plot? The narrator did an overall good job, but it may have been the story that didn't do it for me. I would've liked a little bit of fun bantering or some more cute interaction. This was just okay for me, I read that this is a second novel, so I'd like to give the first book a try, maybe there's some things that I'm missing by not reading the first book.

I’m sorry to say I didn’t like this one. It started off cute and then it just lost its plot. Completely. There was no purpose to the story. Levi and Jilly just got together way too fast and then their relationship was immediately too serious. There was no suspense, no drama. It needed to give more to audience.

I was so excited to be heading back to Smile! Did I love seeing Presley and Beckett again? Absolutely! Did I have high hopes for Levi and Jilly? You bet! Did it live up to my expectations? No. No, it did not.

I really wanted to get into it, but I was bored. I didn't care about the relationship, I wasn't invested in the characters and it just lacked chemistry for me.

Disappointing, but I will still return for book 3? Definitely!

This was exactly the kind of feel-good, second-chance romance I needed. Sweet, comforting, and wrapped in that small-town, sunshiney wilderness magic that makes you want to curl up with a mug of coffee and never leave Smile.

The narration brought it all to life with warmth and just the right touch of longing. If you like audiobooks that feel like a romcom road trip for your ears, this is a must-listen.

My smile is permanent. My heart is full. My ears are happy. 💛

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC. This one took me a while to finish it, not because it was bad, but just because it never really hooked me. It had a nice storyline and the characters were ok, but they just weren’t stand out personalities that I will remember. I finished this last night and I can only remember the MMC’s name. The FMC seemed slightly immature and they both lacked depth. 🙈 Again, cute story, and I liked the childhood friends-to- lovers troupe, but sub-par characters and writing. This is my second Sophie Sullivan book and even though I would read another book from her, she’s not going on my “highly anticipated authors” list.

ARC Audiobook Review: Get Lost With You by Sophie Sullivan
⭐ 3.5 - 5 Stars
Big thanks to NetGalley & Sophie Sullivan for the early listen!
This was my very first ARC audiobook and I’m still buzzing with excitement to have passed this bookish milestone!

Let’s talk about it…

You know when you're peacefully driving to work, vibing to your audiobook, and then BAM—a spicy scene hits your ears?
Yeah… me, clutching the steering wheel like 😳😅
Audiobook girlies, you get it.

This story follows Jilly, an independent woman with a five-year plan and some heavy emotional armor, and Levi, the charming, flirty guy who very clearly wants to be part of that plan—like, immediately.
Oh, and shoutout to Ollie, Jilly’s daughter, who is legit the funniest, sassiest, CUTEST kid ever. She added so much warmth to this story! 🥹👧

What I loved:

The banter and chemistry between Jilly & Levi 💬

The town of Smile (yes, that’s the real name—adorable, right?) 🏡

Unexpected steam levels… which may or may not have had me lowering the volume mid-commute 🔥👀

The real-life emotional depth and healing journey, especially for Jilly

The story is told in third-person POV, which isn’t my usual go-to, so it took a second to adjust. But once I did, I was in it. There’s a great balance of sweet, sassy, and heartfelt moments that kept me engaged. I do wish we explored Jilly’s past trauma just a little more—there was something there I wanted to dig deeper into.

And while the romance was fast (like, Levi was ready to move in on page two 😂), it still had charm. I wouldn’t have minded a bit more slow burn, but their connection was super sweet and cozy.

Also… I want to live in Smile. The people, the cozy diner, the little moments—it sounds like the ultimate feel-good town ☕✨

Final thoughts?
This is the kind of audiobook that’s perfect for your commute, cleaning day, or winding down at night. It’s heartwarming and light.

Just a cute story where you could say is a second chance romance.
I don't like it when we kind of have the third act break up, and they don't speak to each other. I love it when they get back together but when there is a good reason why they separate, it was a little underwhelming at the end but just a fun story where is some ways you can relate to the main character and how we can doubt about the real intentions of people around us.
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for this book

Get lost for a few hours at Get Lost retreat with Jillian, Levi and the rest of the crew! This is a wonderful rom com with strong emotions, realistic interactions and a strong sense of family as well as friendship. You will absolutely fall in love with the characters, the setting and the witty banter as well as the strong emotional connections between the characters. I would absolutely sign up for a vacation in one of the cabins at the Get Lost Lodge and resort although I think I would rather move there and connect with the people even more, if only it weren't an imaginary place! I do recommend reading the series in order as you'll get a ton more entertainment as well as get to know the characters and location even more closely. This addition to the series is the second book and you'll get a bit of second chances as well as the theme of life being everchanging. Some of us like change way less than others and I think Jillian represents that very well. If you are like me and prefer an audiobook, this is a good one to listen to. The narration is fantastic and really enhances the story! There is also a bit of learning to ask for help and leaning on your loved ones when you need to. I absolutely can't wait to head back to Get Lost located on an island just off the coast of the town of Smile!

Get lost in you - Sophie Sullivan

Jillian runs home to Smile with her daughter after the ending of her disastrous marriage. She’s been thriving over the last 5 years and everything is good… That is until Levi comes home and the attraction between them is still there. All these years later and they still aren’t over the almost kiss. Can they navigate a friendship or will their feelings win out?

LEVI IS THE MOST AMAZING MAN IN THE WORLD…. He literally comes home and his feelings for Jillian are insane and he loves her daughter just as much. It melted me in the best possible ways. It’s cute. I love the storyline. It's adorable and done so well. I love the writing and the small town vibes! It’s the second book in the series but I didn’t know that when I read it and it was fine as a standalone. The narration was a bit lacklustre but I still enjoyed it.

It was an easy small town romance and I really enjoyed the uncomplicated story and the cuteness that was there in spades.

Oh well, that being said, this is a second chance romance featuring the FMC, Jillian, who is settled in her hometown, taking care of their families, vacation lodge, when her high school crush, Levi returns from the big city and his impressive culinary career to take care of his ailing father And decides to take on a side job helping out in the kitchen at the lodge.

The romance mainly features around Jillian, trying to trust again after a very nasty break up that has soured her ability to trust men.

This romance fell a little flat for me. The characters in the idea were fine, but Jillian’s insistence I’m not trusting and living in fear got old after a while.

I listen to the audiobook narrated by Allyson Morgan, and found that she did a great job with her voice work defining the different characters. There’s a big variety in ages and she does each voice specifically to match the character. Her pacing was smooth and created a very easy listening environment.

Levi Bright returns to his small hometown of Smile, Michigan, after achieving his goals in the culinary world and is reunited with his friends' sister, whom he never had the chance to pursue when they were young. Jillian Keller, now divorced and raising her daughter, is enjoying her work at the Get Lost Lodge with her brothers. Can Levi and Jilly work together at the lodge without their romantic feelings getting in the way?

The cover is adorable, and I love the outdoorsy setting of this book, which is second in a series (can be read as a standalone). But I didn't sense that much chemistry between Levi and Jilly. I felt like we saw more drama and relationship development between the two MCs and their families than anything else. There was very little conflict between Levi and Jilly and the love scenes should have been true fade-to-black rather than the two of them just fumbling around. I found myself a bit bored. The ropes course and camping scenes were highlights and had me itching to get outdoors.

The audiobook narration was nothing special. I didn't sense much excitement in the narrator's voice.

This is a light easy romance that takes place in the smalltown setting of Smile. Levi and Jilly both have things in the past to overcome and I liked that they weren't too heavy or overdone. Ollie is adorable and I love seeing the relationship that develops between Levi and her as well as his with Jilly. The audiobook was a great way to enjoy this story and the narration really brought the characters to life.

3⭐, 1.5 🌶️

Hmmmm, this was a cutie patootie book, but nothing I was obsessed over. I was very thrown off with how fast Levi accepts his infatuation with Jilly during this book, even as a childhood friends to lovers/ brother's best friend romance. I enjoyed the first 1/3 of this book and then found myself zoning out a lo in the later parts of the book. The lack of soice for htis book didnt bother me, but nothing about the story didnt overly surprise me either.

🎧 Audiobook: Get Lost with You-Rock Bottom #2

✍🏾 Author: Sophie Sullivan-a new to me author

📅Publication date: 2/11/25 | Read: 3/20/25

Genre: Rom-Com

Tropes: single parent, divorce, small town, 2nd chance romance, friends to lovers, high school reunion

🗣️Narrator: Allyson Morgan voices all the characters with standouts from Jillian, Ollie, and Levi. The reading style brought the text to life, and the author and narrator worked together perfectly. The pacing and flow allowed me to get lost in the story. The narrator paused and announced new chapters and there was a table of contents which helped me follow along.

🏃🏾‍➡️Run Time: 8:46

🌎 Setting: Smile, Michigan

👆🏾POV: 3rd person dual Jillian and Levi

⚠️TW: toxic parent-H, parental abandonment-h, parent has surgery-H

Summary: Jillian reluctantly comes to rescue her BFF from their high school reunion. Levi is back in town while his father has surgery. He sees Jillian and wants to reconnect. Jillian isn't looking for a relationship after divorcing her lying husband. She just wants to raise her daughter and help her brother with the Get Lost Lodge.

👩🏾 Heroine: Jillian "Jill" Keller- 29, an accountant on leave to help her oldest brother Grayson's lodge

👨🏾 Hero: Levi Bright-29, left town at 17 to pursue a culinary career

🎭 Other Characters:
* Ollie- Jill's daughter, 9
* Andrew- Jill's ex-husband
*Lainey-Jill's BFF
*Grayson and Beckett-Jill's brothers, Beckett has a girlfriend Presley- main couple from Love, Naturally
* Steven Bright-Levi's father

🤔 My Thoughts: I love the high school reunion reconnection. Levi and Jillian spent time camping and reminiscing about their teenage years. Jillian has been hurt, so she has sworn off relationships. Her husband Andrew was a piece of work-a dead-beat father that Ollie did not deserve. Jill's brothers looked out for her though sometimes meddling too much. Levi's father Steven disparaged his profession as a chef because he was upset Levi didn't join the family business. Together Levi and Jill learned to forgive and build a family.

Rating: 4/5 ✨
Spice level 2/5🔥very PG

After meeting Jillian in Love Naturally, I couldn’t wait to read her story! As a single mom battling the aftermath of a toxic marriage, her journey to finding happiness was everything I could have hoped for. I’ve read many Sophie Sullivan books, and they’re always adorable love stories filled with delightfully charming settings and flawed characters you can’t help but love. There’s so much heart in her writing. From the tender-hearted moments to the laugh-out-loud ones, you can feel the emotional depth, and this book is once again proof of that. Jillian 100% deserved her happily ever after, and I’m happy that I was able to experience her journey!

Allyson Morgan did an excellent job of bringing Jillian’s story to life through her narration! The pacing and emotion felt genuine and allowed me to immerse myself in the story.

Thank you to RBmedia/Recorded Books, St Martin’s Press, and Sophie Sullivan for the opportunity to review this digital ARC & ALC. All opinions expressed are my own.

This was cute! It was the lighthearted romance I was looking for, and while it wasn't anything earth shattering, it was still very much enjoyable. I really liked the childhood friends to lover's trope in this and it was nice seeing a romance between two thirty somethings that was so sweet. The island small town and resort settings really did it for me.

Overall, this was a sweet, adorable romance with yummy sounding food and a cute kid. I'd definitely recommend it.
