Second chance/brother's best friend meets "you can always come home." Sophie has given us a lovely romance story, in a quaint Michigan on-the-water setting that is truly SO charming. If you love reading about second chances and unconditional familial love- you'll enjoy this book!

Narration was incredibly well done. The narrator brought the story to life and I would definitely seek out other stories she has narrated.

This was such a cute and easy listen! It had the perfect mix of hardships, a second-chance romance, and some classic communication issues. The story reminded me that when you're at rock bottom, you can't keep moving sideways – you have to take that next step.
