Parker shows her unapologetically self, from her childhood to Tennessee to the Olympics to the Sparks disaster. She covers her relationships, motherhood, and playing basketball including the double standard she saw up close between the opportunities for men vs women ballers. Must have for fans of her and women’s basketball.

Candace Parker’s The Can-Do Mindset isn't the sort of thing I usually read, but my ten year old daughter is really into her sport, and I thought it would be interesting to read this. As one of the most successful women in basketball history, Candace shares the wisdom that helped her not just on the court, but in every aspect of her life. The book breaks down her personal journey and how her "Can-Do" attitude became the foundation for her success. It’s more than just a sports memoir—it’s a guide to living a life with purpose, bravery, and authenticity.
Candace’s message is empowering, not just for women in sports, but for anyone who’s ever felt like they’ve had to prove themselves.
Thank you for the advanced reader copy, I really enjoyed this book.
