🔥 ARC chaos meets bookish bliss 🔥

My latest blog review is up, and it’s a wild one. The Unwanted Marriage by Catharina Maura gave me one of the worst ARC experiences I’ve ever had—missing chapters, broken formatting, and unreadable words—but the story still pulled me in.

Dion has my heart! And Faye omg! These two were perfect for each other, I loved Dion and how obsessed and overprotective he was. and the way Faye grows throughout the story was everything.

i loveeeeed the ‘breakup’ in this book. it was just so angsty and seeing Dion still keeping up Faye because he loves her too much but is also willing to let her go *swoooon*

I don't know how I did not see this was part of a series and I am very picky in reading in order. I still gave it a shot, it was an okay read for me. I really wish I read the previous books though as the same characters are mentioned, so I feel I am missing some things. There is also so much drama that felt highly unnecessary in my opinion. Still an entertaining read but probably not a standout.

I love to angst. I love the characters. SO GOOD.

I think books with this kind of angst can sometimes be hard to write in a way that readers will still like the MC’s. But Catharina wrote this in such a good way that it kept my attention but still made me love all the MC’s.

Such a great book! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

This is my first time reading something by Catharina Maura and I love it so far! The characters are well-developed, and the chemistry between Faye and Dion is off the charts! I really love what the author does with these characters, and the storylines keep me guessing and wanting more. I can't wait to read the next one.

4.25 ⭐️ Oh my gosh, Faye and Dion!!! Ugh, I love a morally grey man, and Dion is the perfect introduction for morally grey men if you’ve never met one. The romance had a lovely mix of vulnerability and spice that had me eager for more! Faye is so delicate, but I love how she became strong and found her footing in the world. Dion would BURN the world for Faye, I just know it!.
