This was enjoyable but a bit confusing towards the middle. Everything changed and it felt like another book. I liked the first part the best but it's a nice read.

Unfortunately this was not for me, it was taking too long to get into so I reluctantly had to DNF it at 25% of the way through. It started promising but did not fully capture my attention.

This started out very strong, I initially loved Lina and her determination and wit. However at around the 40% mark I found myself confused by the plot progression, sudden introduction of new characters, and shift in the narrative. I really wanted to love this one because the writing was brilliant, but it felt a little disjointed and underwhelming.
