4.5 stars! This adorable picture book about a stunt (stuffed) penguin has great artwork and a cute story about being yourself. It ends on a cliffhanger, so I'm hoping there will be more to come! How brave is Danger Eagle? What happens when Danger Eagle is questioned about that bravery? Find out in Danger Eagle!

This picture book tells the tale of Danger Eagle, a little stuffed penguin 'born' for a life filled with adventures. Danger Eagle, can do it all. When a new foe enters the picture and challenges Danger Eagle to do something he's never done before, will he be able to take the leap into the unknown?
This picture book was absolutely adorable. I love the illustration style, and the way the author/illustrator used graphic novel-esque text and speech bubble for the readers. I think young readers could easily pick this book up and love it, and have fun imaging the future of Danger Eagle's stunts and adventures. This is one I will for sure be buying when it is released.

A sweet, lighthearted tale about being brave! Danger Eagle is easy to cheer for. I felt like I had left Bonnie’s room where Woody & Buzz reside and was introduced to a new group of fictional friends with just as much fun and personality in store. If you’re a fan of toys, animals (especially eagles), heros, villains, make believe, and danger, look no further.

Danger Eagle is an adorable story about a stunt penguin who meets an adversarial ostrich who doubts his abilities. Danger Eagle believed in himself and made even his retractors believe in him too!
My three year old really enjoyed the story and the artwork of this adorable penguin’s adventure. We’ve read it several times already!
Thank you to NetGalley and Tundra Book Group for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was an adorable book full of imagination, self confidence and adventure. I can't wait to see what Danger Eagle's next adventure is.

My daughter (5) was sad at the end of this book, because there wasn’t more! When she realized we were at the end she told me I had to “tell the writer to write more!” This book is kind of in the vein of the Toy Story opening shorts where we’re in the story created by the kid playing with the toys, interrupted by the real world peeking in once in a while. The illustrations are very cute and dynamic, the story is engaging and clearly leaves readers wanting more. Definitely a book I and my daughter hope will become a series! We read this e book through NetGalley.

My children 4 and 6 enjoyed this book about a penguin doing stunts. The plot was a little confusing, but the cute illustrations made up for this.
