Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this captivating eARC.
Liv Constantine is the pen name of sisters Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine. For the purpose of this review, I will use the author name on the books they write, rather than list both names individually.
Before I begin my review, I wanted to note how COOL it is that two sisters write books together! I always wanted to do the same with one of my sisters but as we live in different states we never managed... Note: I love the Mrs. Parrish series by these authors!
On to my review.
Liv Constantine’s "Don't Open Your Eyes" plunges readers into a world where perception is fragile, trust is elusive, and the past refuses to remain buried. This gripping psychological thriller unspools a narrative that is unsettling yet hypnotic, expertly playing with the reader’s sense of reality.
This novel thrives on the tension between what is seen and what lurks beneath the surface. Constantine crafts an atmosphere of unease that builds steadily with every chapter. The protagonist’s descent into paranoia feels visceral, making the reader question the reliability of every revelation. The novel’s pacing is taut, delivering twists that feel inevitable and shocking in their execution.
Constantine weaves complex relationships into the suspense, ensuring that no character exists solely for the plot. Each interaction feels charged with hidden motives, creating a multidimensional experience where even the most fleeting conversation carries weight. The psychological intricacies elevate the novel from a conventional thriller to a sophisticated exploration of manipulation and identity.
While the story delivers a fair share of shocking moments, its true brilliance lies in the nuanced layers beneath the surface. Constantine understands that fear is most potent when it is rooted in the ordinary, transforming familiar spaces into places of danger and uncertainty. The writing is crisp, immersive, and charged with an undercurrent of dread, ensuring that the reader remains ensnared until the final revelation.
In "Don't Open Your Eyes" , Constantine proves yet again that psychological suspense is at its most gripping when built on the fault lines of human emotion.

Liv Constantine always delivers doesn’t she! The twist Queen really got me with this one. I was certain I had this one figured out and then bam 💥 Gosh it was good, and much better than my theory 😂
I read this in an afternoon, really enjoying the dual timelines and learning more about Annabelle, the woman with the seemingly perfect life.married to a doctor, a beautiful house and 2 daughters, as well as a job she loved. It is a fast paced and entertaining thriller that will keep you turning the pages. The dreams coming to life was freaky, I would not want my weird dreams coming true.
Thriller readers you know this author is amazing and you just have to read it.
Thanks to Random House Publishing Ballantine, Bantam for my early copy to read on NetGalley. Publishes on June 17th.

The book hand many confusing twists. Usually I enjoy these types but the twists didn’t really connect. I liked it though.

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, and Liv Constantine for the advanced electronic copy of Don't Open Your Eyes. All opinions are my own.
Summary:
Annabelle is living her ideal life with her husband and two daughters when she begins to have vivid, disturbing dreams that become premonitions for what is about to happen. Her daughter has started a secret online relationship and Annabelle is terrified that her daughter will be targeted and has to face her dreams head on in order to save her family.
My Thoughts:
A super quick, entertaining thriller! This book was a steady-paced thriller that kept me interested from the beginning! I wasn’t sure about the dreams coming to real life aspect (I’m not a huge fan of the supernatural in my reading), but it was well done in this story! The last part of the book puts the pacing in high gear and the twists just keep coming! Were they a bit predictable? Yes, but it was still a fun and engaging thriller! I am a longtime fan of this writing duo and will definitely continue to read upcoming books!

A gripping, fast-paced psychological thriller, Don’t Open Your Eyes is poised to be one of the breakout hits of Summer 2025. In this chilling new novel by Liv Constantine, readers are drawn into the seemingly perfect world of Annabelle—a devoted wife, loving mother to two beautiful daughters, and someone who believes she has built the ideal life over 15 years of marriage.
But when Annabelle begins experiencing vivid, disturbing dreams—ones that feel less like fantasy and more like ominous premonitions—her sense of reality begins to crack. As fragments of these dreams start manifesting in her waking life, she’s forced to confront a terrifying truth: her life isn’t what it seems, and the man she thought she knew may be hiding far more than she ever imagined.
As her dreamscape collides with reality, Annabelle’s once-idyllic world spirals into a nightmare. With her trust shattered and her safety uncertain, the question looms: how far will her husband go to protect the life they’ve built—or the illusion of it?
Taut, suspenseful, and emotionally charged, Don’t Open Your Eyes will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page. Fans of Freida McFadden and other masters of domestic suspense will find themselves right at home with this thrilling new offering from Liv Constantine

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my gifted copy.
I love all Liv Constantine's books, and this one was good, but it was not my favorite. I definitely think it is still worth the read, because you may love it.

Liv Constantine has been a go-to author for me and will continue to be so after her newest book. This has a lot of good twists some I didn't see coming at all and an almost supernatural element to it that worked well in the story. I enjoyed this book and will continue to recommend what she writes, 3/3.5 stars. I want to thank NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you Bantam for the gifted digital ARC!
So... this one is tough for me to rate and review. I had to sit with it for about half a day after reading it to really get a solid idea how I felt about it. On the one hand, it was paced well and intriguing enough that it kept me turning pages, and I would ultimately say I binged this one. On the other hand, it had a *really* triggering storyline for me, and there was one aspect of the plot that I think needed to get expanded on further.
I won't include what triggered me in my NetGalley review, I will save that for Goodreads so I can wrap it in spoiler text.
At the end of the day, I think seasoned thriller readers will be pretty "meh" about this one, especially when compared to Constantine's previous books. Regardless, I won't hesitate to pick up whatever she comes up with next!
Don't Open Your Eyes pub date is June 17.

Licv Constantine, queen of the twists! I've loved Luv Constantine for a while - she's a go-to when the book club wants a thriller or you're recommending a solid read to a friend. This story flips between present day Annabel and and a younger version. Lots of family drama, eerie premonitions that come together to create a story that had me staying up at night to finish it. Loved the main character (and many others!) in this util the very last page. Thanks for the ARC - can't wait to recommend to my audience!

3.5 stars rounded up.
It took me a bit to get into this one, but I flew through the second half to get answers. Did I necessarily love or buy into the whole set up? Part yes, part no, but either way it kept me turning the pages at a rapid pace to find out what was going on.
The idea of dreams as premonitions is fascinating and lowkey a little terrifying. It was really interesting the way it was used here. I kept wondering which of the dreams would end up having been premonitions of some kind and how the situation would translate to the actual event playing out.
There were a lot of moving parts, timelines, and POVs in this one that, for me, made it somewhat challenging to follow more than it added to the intrigue. That said, it did make sense for the way the story was being told. I wish there had been a few more answers about some situations in the past because I have my own theories that I feel were hinted at but never confirmed.
Overall an entertaining read that kept me on my toes. Thank you to Bantam via NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I was highly anticipating this book because I really enjoyed Liv Constantine’s previous books. This one lived up to the anticipation for me. I really loved that the main character was having dreams that were materializing in real life - I thought that was very interesting. I was definitely hooked from the start of this book and I’ll definitely be recommending it.

Annabelle’s dreams start becoming more like psychic visions which is freaking her out understandably. When her daughter is hit by a car while riding her bike, lots of secrets come out - some going back 16 years or more! This is a very unique storyline filled with mystery.

Annabelle seems to have a life most dream about. Great career, happily married to a doctor and two wonderful daughters. But when she begins to have terrifying dreams that begin to become more like premonitions, she does everything possible to try to change what is happening before the consequences become reality. Once again Liv Constantine has delivered a twisted psychological book with a wow ending. Thank you Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group for the EArc. This review is my opinion.

WOW! Best thriller I've read in a while! Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. SO GOOD! Run to read this one June 17!!!

I really liked this book. I was captivated by it from the beginning and had a heard time putting it down. I like the way the story was told from Annabelle and Scarlett’s points of view. I think they each brought a unique perspective to different parts of the story. This book felt more like a thriller to me than some of Liv Constantine’s other books. I do feel like I figured out some of the twists of the book before they happened but that did not change my enjoyment of the book at all. Overall, a very good and enjoyable read!

Don’t Open Your Eyes starts strong. The pacing is tight and the tension keeps the story moving. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen. Where it stumbles a bit is the final stretch. The plot gets a little too tangled, and some of the twists feel more rushed than satisfying. It doesn’t undo the good setup, but it does take the edge off the ending. Still, this is an engaging, fast-paced read that I enjoyed. Highly recommend!

2.5–3⭐️ Don’t Open Your Eyes is a popcorn-style thriller about Annabelle, a woman who starts having disturbing dreams that seem to predict a dark future—one where she hates her husband and her daughters are in danger. When pieces of her dreams start coming true, she’s forced to figure out how to stop them before it’s too late.
I really liked the premise but I wish some of the dreams were more vivid or detailed. It kind of felt like the author gave up on those halfway through. Some twists kept it interesting, but a lot felt predictable, and the writing wasn’t super polished. Readable, but not a standout for me.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts!

This book captured me from the start! I loved the storyline and overall plot. So many twists and turns that keeps you guessing and the way the reveals and truths were revealed really satisfies the readers. This was another great book by these authors and the perfect summer beach read or vacation read. Full of suspense, mystery and thrills I recommend it!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review and feedback.

Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for an ARC.
Annabelle has a seemingly perfect life, a husband, 2 daughters, and a successful career. Suddenly she starts having dreams that start coming true, some with tragic outcomes. Annabelle will do everything she can to protect her family but she's not the only one keeping secrets.
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read that kept you wondering what was going on.

Wow, I was so hooked by the first few pages! This book follows Annabelle, main character who is experiencing very vivid dreams that seem to keep happening in real life. As Annabelle's dreams get darker and scarier, we learn more and more about her secrets of the past. I really enjoyed this book and the twists that were scattered throughout! There were a few times, the plot felt "too big" and complex, but everything tied together nicely.
