Annabelle’s dreams start becoming more like psychic visions which is freaking her out understandably. When her daughter is hit by a car while riding her bike, lots of secrets come out - some going back 16 years or more! This is a very unique storyline filled with mystery.

Annabelle seems to have a life most dream about. Great career, happily married to a doctor and two wonderful daughters. But when she begins to have terrifying dreams that begin to become more like premonitions, she does everything possible to try to change what is happening before the consequences become reality. Once again Liv Constantine has delivered a twisted psychological book with a wow ending. Thank you Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group for the EArc. This review is my opinion.

WOW! Best thriller I've read in a while! Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. SO GOOD! Run to read this one June 17!!!

I really liked this book. I was captivated by it from the beginning and had a heard time putting it down. I like the way the story was told from Annabelle and Scarlett’s points of view. I think they each brought a unique perspective to different parts of the story. This book felt more like a thriller to me than some of Liv Constantine’s other books. I do feel like I figured out some of the twists of the book before they happened but that did not change my enjoyment of the book at all. Overall, a very good and enjoyable read!

Don’t Open Your Eyes starts strong. The pacing is tight and the tension keeps the story moving. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen. Where it stumbles a bit is the final stretch. The plot gets a little too tangled, and some of the twists feel more rushed than satisfying. It doesn’t undo the good setup, but it does take the edge off the ending. Still, this is an engaging, fast-paced read that I enjoyed. Highly recommend!

2.5–3⭐️ Don’t Open Your Eyes is a popcorn-style thriller about Annabelle, a woman who starts having disturbing dreams that seem to predict a dark future—one where she hates her husband and her daughters are in danger. When pieces of her dreams start coming true, she’s forced to figure out how to stop them before it’s too late.
I really liked the premise but I wish some of the dreams were more vivid or detailed. It kind of felt like the author gave up on those halfway through. Some twists kept it interesting, but a lot felt predictable, and the writing wasn’t super polished. Readable, but not a standout for me.

This book captured me from the start! I loved the storyline and overall plot. So many twists and turns that keeps you guessing and the way the reveals and truths were revealed really satisfies the readers. This was another great book by these authors and the perfect summer beach read or vacation read. Full of suspense, mystery and thrills I recommend it!

Annabelle has a seemingly perfect life, a husband, 2 daughters, and a successful career. Suddenly she starts having dreams that start coming true, some with tragic outcomes. Annabelle will do everything she can to protect her family but she's not the only one keeping secrets.
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read that kept you wondering what was going on.

Wow, I was so hooked by the first few pages! This book follows Annabelle, main character who is experiencing very vivid dreams that seem to keep happening in real life. As Annabelle's dreams get darker and scarier, we learn more and more about her secrets of the past. I really enjoyed this book and the twists that were scattered throughout! There were a few times, the plot felt "too big" and complex, but everything tied together nicely.

A very interesting book with some twists and turns that you don't see coming... unless you're dreaming. The ending feels a little rushed but I loved the anticipation building up to the end.

Annabelle has a seemingly perfect life: great job, loving husband, wonderful daughters. When she starts having vivid dreams that her marriage is unhappy and her daughters are in danger, and fragments of those dreams start coming true, she is sufficiently spooked.
I enjoyed reading Don’t Open Your Eyes. It is mysterious, and I thought I was connecting dots while reading that didn’t end up actually connecting; it kept me guessing. The chapters are on the shorter side, and perspective shifts from Annabelle, to her daughter, to Annabelle in the past, and a mysterious character simply called “the Wife.” If you are looking for a quick summer thriller, this is a good bet.

In this latest effort, Constantine delivers a solid summer read: not particularly complicated but delivering some suspense, mystery, and a ending that makes the experience worth the time.
Annabelle has two daughters, a husband whom I found instantly unlikeable but she seems pretty good with initially, and a successful career where she has just turned down a promotion in an effort to spend more time with her family. This goes awry when she gets a new client who demands more of her time both waking and asleep! On a related note, Annabelle's dreams play an integral role throughout. She finds that she is seemingly predicting the future. This goes on for quite a stretch, and I could have done without it. Is there some sort of psychic connection here, or is Annabelle simply becoming aware that the folks who externally seem sus are, in fact, sus (or at least participating in sus behavior)? I found this hard to care too much about over the course of the novel. Another challenge? Annabelle's relationship with her parents. There are many sections in which Annabelle recalls or the narrator elucidates details about Annabelle's mom's decline and her absent father's choices. It's not hard to figure out why this info is included, but for me, the payoff was not worth the time in this area. I'd have much rather gotten deeper into other characters' backstories (there are some interesting individuals here) than spent so much time on this.
Somewhat experienced readers may find that they too easily pick up on where this book is going earlier than they'd like; I did. I still enjoyed the journey and found the final outcomes to be more action packed than I anticipated, which helped bring back some of the thrill/mystery I anticipated.
While this one comes with some challenges, it's an entertaining read overall and should join you on the beach or a road trip at some point this summer.

This entire book is super frustrating. The characters aren’t likable and everyone seems to be fighting. We never get a real reason for Annabelle’s random dreams. The twist just made me even more frustrated and sad. I also found the writing of this book to be not as great as the author’s other books.
I would not recommend this book. This is just not the author’s best work.

I've been a long time lover of this author duo, and they're certainly an auto-buy author for me. DON'T OPEN YOUR EYES lived up to my expectations for the most part, although there was one particular thing I didn't enjoy.
I really loved the overall plot, how it unfolded, and all of the double-crossing. While I was onto the truth, I wasn't exactly right! Despite many twists, the way the reveals were presented made sense. I only was left with a couple minor questions.
There was unfortunately a bit of deus ex machina that leaned a bit too close to a trope I hate. I wouldn't quite put this book in the surprise paranormal trope, but the dreams being used to solve the case was a bit much for me. I would have preferred a real-life explanation for WHY Annabel was having the dreams, instead of the dreams cracking the case and then magically stopping. If the authors had left the dream bit out entirely, this book would have been near perfect!

Psychic dreams, buried grief, & twisted truths
Don’t Open Your Eyes was an absolute thrill ride from start to finish! Fast-paced and full of suspense, it had me hooked with every twist and turn—I literally couldn’t put it down except to sleep! The ending did wrap up a bit quickly, but the darker turn it took made it all the more gripping. Nonetheless, DOYE is a true page-turner that kept me on the edge of my seat and was the perfect read to kick off Summerween 🎃🌊🎙️🍂🚲

Thanks to NetGalley and Liv Constantine for the opportunity to read this ARC. 4 out of 5 stars just because although it was pretty good and did get me on a few of the twists, I just don’t think it compares to some of Liv’s 5 star reads. The beginning and middle were a little slower but the end of it picked up and did have a few unexpected twists.

This was such a fun, bingeable read! I read it in less than 36 hours over Memorial Day weekend as I simply could not put it down and had to find out how it ended! I was hooked from the first chapter.
Annabelle, a mom of 2 and wife of a brilliant Neurologist, has the life she's always wanted. But she has been having dreams that appear to be premonitions of the future. It makes her question her daily life as she works to prevent her dreams from happening in real life. In the meantime, her daughter Scarlett, has been chatting with a boy named Ben online and has plans to meet him in person (smart, right?)
This book is told in multiple POVs, switching between Annabelle (then and now) and her daughter Scarlett. There is also a mysterious "wife" that really comes in to play in the last quarter of the book.
It was a super enjoyable, fast-paced, and entertaining read. The twist at the end wasn't necessarily my favorite, but it did tie up a majority of the open-ended questions that were presented throughout the book.

This book is a fast read that grabs your attention from the start. Annabel is plagued by terrible dreams that center on her family. Then the dreams start to come true. Much of the tension in this story comes from the unreliable narrator (Annabel) and the heightened disbelief of those around her. It is hard to know what to believe and that is an intriguing storyline. I enjoyed the twists that arise and the overall thriller aspect, although some of the dream parts felt a little hard to follow. I think you will see this one all over the place this summer. Thanks to Liv Constantine, NetGalley, and Random House Publishing Group-Ballantine for the advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I have mixed opinions on this one. It was... fine, I guess? It was a super interesting premise that doesn't ever get resolved in a satisfactory way for me. I felt like there were soooo many loose ends that still need to be tied up. I couldn't stand the main character Annabelle, and she didn't seem like a real person to me at all. Without giving anything away, I will say that I thought there was more opportunity for Randy in the story.
I am hesitant in recommending this to others, but would probably lean towards no.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group-Ballantine for the ARC!

I really enjoyed this book and the storyline. I loved the character of Annabelle and her struggles to balance work and motherhood. Annabelle is also having dreams of things that end up happening in real life. No one believes her, but she ends up alerting some events to keep people safe because of her dreams. Having a POV from a teenager was also different than most thrillers. I think there was a very believable banter between a teenage girl and her mother/parents. This book held my interest and had some twists that I did not see coming. I found it to be a quick, easy read. I loved this author's other books and this one is no exception. Highly recommend. Five stars for me.
