Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I’ve really enjoyed previous books I've read by Liv Constantine, so if you’re like me, you will not be disappointed!! Our main character, Annabelle has been having very troubling dreams. What is more troubling however is that they start coming true. She begins to fear that her husband and daughter are in constant physical danger and that she herself faces dangers as well. In hers however, a handsome stranger is involved. Par for the course, the author keeps you guessing as new plot twists come along the way.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for this ArC in exchange for a honest review.
The book started really slow and I was about to DNF but because I enjoy this author I stuck with it and the rest of the book did not disappoint. I can always count on this author to give a great suprise ending and this book is no different.

Thank you NetGalley, Random House Publishing, and Liv Constantine for the ARC! I LOVED this book. The relationships between the characters were so twisted and the author did a really great job transitioning between character points of view throughout the story. 4 stars, love this author!

4.5 🌟
Thank you so much to the publisher and netgalley for giving me the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
I’ve been a constant fan of Liv Constantine. Her work is always intriguing, thrilling, page turner, real life drama writing and I’m always here for it!
“Don’t Open Your Eyes” was riveting, alarming and completely relatable. I found the characters to be multi-dimensional and some more like able than others.
Annabelle was our main character. This book carries us through her life as a college student secretly dating a professor (off limits). One thing leads to another and she ends up pregnant. Everything is all good until she comes home to find him in bed with someone else. During this time she has also become good friends with his roommate, James. James is a med student and always has control of the situation. He’s helpful and always there for Annabelle during her time of need. He even offers his new apartment up to her after she breaks up with her boyfriend.
The day of Annabelle’s delivery, everything goes a bit awry. Her doctor isn’t available so James will have to deliver the baby. Only Annabelle unknowingly has preeclampsia and passes out. She wakes to James telling her they did everything they could but the baby didn’t make it. Annabelle is completely gutted.
But life goes on and eventually Annabelle and James get married and have two girls of their own, Scarlett and Olivia. James has a successful neurology practice and everything appears like the perfect life, but is it?
Once you get beneath the surface you will see deception to the highest regard, psychic dreams, child abduction, kidnapping, prison and even attempted murder.
I won’t give away the ending, but it’s worth it!
I’d recommend this book to all my reader friends!

I was honored to be given a eARC of Don’t Open Your Eyes thru NetGalley and Liv Constantine did not disappoint. Told thru multiple POVs and a dual timeline, this is a fast paced domestic thriller that will have you turning the pages to get to the end. When teenage Scarlett, the daughter of James, a doctor, and Annabel, a social media strategist, starts digging into her family’s past, she starts to discover that their perfect happy family may not be so perfect. Simultaneously, Annabel starts being haunted by dreams that somehow keep coming true… is she going crazy? Or is there something the dreams are trying to reveal? See if you can keep up with these plot twists as I highly recommend this book, and all of Liv Constantine’s other books.

Annabelle is having dreams that are coming true. Are these simply coincidences or are the dreams trying to send her a message?
To be honest, the beginning of the book was a bit slow, not giving the reader much of a clue as to the plot the storyline was leading up to. However the final third of the booked was action filled and had me riveted. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough. Giving this 3.5 rounded to 4 stars.
Thank you to Bantam and MetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

3.5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the copy. Don’t Open Your Eyes follows Annabelle, a social media marketing specialist who has a perfect life. She loves her two daughters and her husband. Everything is great until she starts having disturbing dreams that start to become true. She has dreams warning her about her daughter, Scarlett, and her husband. I thought that this was an interesting premise, but I was disappointed by the pacing. For the first half of the book I struggled with continuing, but once I reached the second half I was intrigued. I did guess the twists, but I still enjoyed the story.

Thank you, Net Galley, for this ARC. I have previously read this author's work and enjoy her writing style. She writes fantastic popcorn movie thrillers; they are easy to read, fast paced, and keep me entertained. This story is told from the point of view of Annabelle and Scarlett, who are mother and daughter. At the beginning of the story, we learn that Annabelle is having dreams that seem to be premonitions of her day-to-day life. As we go deeper in the story, we learn more about Annabelle and her past choices leading her to be a mother. This ties into Scarlett who is questioning her parents, while becoming friends with someone online who has a connection to her and her parents' past. The two stories weave together nicely and are filled with lots of action. The twist at the end was predictable, but still enjoyable as the story was solid and satisfying. I think this would be a great beach read. :)

I love Liv Constantine and this popcorn thriller did not disappoint. I was hooked from the beginning and loved how it all played out! Although some parts were a bit predictable, others kept me guessing until the end! 4.5 rounded up!

DON’T OPEN YOUR EYES kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the dual timelines and multiple POV’s. Annabelle was a great character and I felt for her throughout this story. The surprise at the end was really perfect and I can’t recommend this book enough! Make sure you grab yourself a copy on publication day, June 17th!
Many thanks for my gifted copy. This review will be shared to my Instagram @coffee.break.book.reviews in the near future.

Wow! I loved this book and could not put it down! The premise of dreaming things that came true was so interesting to me. I enjoyed the main character and appreciated her POV as a fellow mother. I did not guess the ending at all and the book had me guessing the whole way through. 5 stars!

Wow!!! Absolutely loved this one! I was so excited to get early arc of Livs new book and it was great just like her previous work!

Seemingly out of the blue, Annabelle begins to have terrifying dreams of a future opposite her reality; they foretell a world where she hates her husband and her daughters are in danger. This could not be further from the truth as she loves her beautiful life and could not be happier. As her dreams begin to come true, Annabelle becomes almost paralyzed with anxiety, questioning every decision she makes, and fearful that her dreams are a warning of a tragic future.
The elements I enjoyed of this one include the chapters from the daughter's, Scarlett, perspective, the premonition-esque dreams, and the unreliable narration of the main character, Annabelle. The epilogue is also a sweet conclusion and wraps things up nicely. The adults' decision-making started to go off the rails by the end and was incredibly unbelievable. It seems the author was throwing in twists and turns to try to throw readers off and the plot suffered as a result. I really enjoyed the first 85% and would have been wholly satisfied with one 1 or 2 of the twists. If I could give half stars, I would rate this a 3.5/5.

This thriller is Liv Constantine’s latest and follows very much her usual style - twists and turns and alternating narratives. While the story is entertaining and keeps the readers guessing for the most part, the ending falls a bit flat and is a bit weaker than her usual work. There isn’t enough resolution to the prevailing theme of the novel and doesn’t do enough to set closure to the story.

3.5 stars rounded down.
If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers, this is a fast and fun read. Don’t Open Your Eyes is highly addictive and hard to put down.
The plot held me in its grip from the very beginning. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened. That said, it’s filled with twist after twist… after twist… after twist. I love a twisty book, but I always have a hard time when there are too many. It can come across as less believable. I will say, some of the twists in this one are total surprises, which I appreciate.
The end left me pretty disappointed. It’s highly detailed and felt rushed. As if the characters needed to explain every little intricacy of what happened to the reader, when I think a lot of it can be inferred. It’s almost like the author is trying to fit as much explanation as possible into the last 20 pages. Something about it gave me super villain vibes. Like they’re divulging their evil plan.
Nonetheless, Don’t Open Your Eyes is a fast and twisty read that kept me on the edge of my seat. A good one to pick up when you want an unpredictable story that keeps you hooked!
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Don’t Open Your Eyes hits shelves on June 17, 2025!

It’s no secret that Liv Constantine has become one of my most liked authors and this book proves that to be true.. This was twisty and tense, kept me hooked into the storyline!!! There were some characters I just didn’t like but that’s what kept my attention!!
Thank you NetGalley for the advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review!

Don’t Open Your Eyes by Liv Constantine is a twisty, emotionally charged psychological thriller that doesn’t just keep you on the edge of your seat—it forces you to question how much control we really have over the future, and what we’d risk to protect the ones we love.
Annabelle Reynolds has what looks like the perfect life: a respected career in social media marketing, a doctor husband who adores her, and two daughters she would do anything for. But the illusion of peace starts to crumble when Annabelle begins having vivid, disturbing dreams—visions so detailed and specific they feel like memories from a life she hasn’t yet lived. When those dreams start coming true, it becomes clear that these aren’t coincidences. They’re premonitions. And one of them reveals something unthinkable: someone wants her daughter Scarlett dead.
What follows is a high-stakes unraveling of everything Annabelle thought she knew. As she scrambles to alter a future that seems terrifyingly inevitable, her grip on her family, her sanity, and her sense of control begins to slip. Her husband James—the supportive partner she believed in—is suddenly more skeptical and secretive. Her daughter is hiding something. And the dreams? They won’t stop.
Told through multiple perspectives, including Annabelle, Scarlett, and a mysterious figure known only as “The Wife,” the novel builds tension expertly, layering suspense, emotional depth, and just the right touch of paranoia. Constantine doesn’t rely on cheap tricks. The twists are rooted in character and consequence, and they land hard.
The pacing is intentionally measured at first, giving readers time to sit in Annabelle’s dread and confusion. But once the second half kicks in, it’s a full-blown thriller sprinting toward a climax that delivers in spades. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out—when you’re sure you know what the dreams mean or who’s pulling the strings—another bomb drops.
What makes Don’t Open Your Eyes truly stand out is its emotional core. Annabelle isn’t just running from danger—she’s fighting to reclaim agency over her life, to protect her daughter, and to trust her own instincts when no one else will. The themes of maternal fear, trauma, gaslighting, and the unknowable edges of fate and free will make this more than just a twisty thriller. It’s a deeply human story about intuition, love, and the terrifying idea that we might see disaster coming—and still be powerless to stop it.
This is Constantine at her best: razor-sharp, chilling, and impossible to put down. If you love thrillers that mess with your mind, break your heart, and keep you reading way past bedtime, this one belongs at the top of your list.

“Don’t Open Your Eyes” by Liv Constantine, is a dark, tense, and shocking thriller that had me hooked from the start. The pacing was spot on, keeping the suspense high without ever dragging. Just when I thought I had it figured out, a shocking twist changed everything. A gripping read that kept me on edge until the final page.

Annabelle has everything she’s ever wanted-perfect career, house, husband, and kids. She suddenly starts having dreams that predict that future but become more and more ominous over time. When she has a dream about something terrible happening to her daughter she struggles to decide whether or not to act on these dreams.
I enjoyed this psychological thriller. It was a little slow in the beginning but I didn’t mind it. It felt more like a fiction book in the beginning and I enjoyed the character development. The pace really picked up the last quarter of the book and had some interesting twists. Overall it was a fun, easy to read popcorn thriller.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House for the ARC!

This was such an amazing read with a lot of mystery, suspense, and twists!! This was such an unputdownable book; it kept me on my toes all throughout. I like the development of the characters and how everything came together at the end. I was able to predict some things but not the main ones.
There were a few characters that I really did not like but that's what makes a great book! It made me feel many emotions as I kept reading. The amount of suspense and mystery loaded in this book is incredible!
This is a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read for me. If I could give it more, I would!!! There were many things that surprised me and made me say WHAT?!! I would read this book all over again! I RECOMMEND 100%!!!
