The sister writing team Liv Constantine is an automatic read for me, and Don’t Open Your Eyes pulled me in right away. Annabelle Reynolds seems to have it all: a happy family and a career she loves, until unsettling visions start to invade her nights. As her dreams begin bleeding into reality, the tension builds, leaving her (and the reader) to question what is real, what is imagined, and whether she can stop what feels inevitable.

Constantine delivers a darkly delicious treat that is both eerie and emotionally charged, balancing familial drama with supernatural suspense.

Don't Open Your Eyes is definitely a page turner, twisted psychological thriller where a woman is haunted by her dreams and then they actually start to come true! Annabelle has it all, a loving husband, two great kids and a great career! At first she thinks her dreams are just stress and an overactive imagination but then realizes they are premonitions of her future! Can she change her choices and redirect what is about to happen?! Dive into this book that flips between past and present and several POVs for several shocking moments!

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group / Ballentine for the privilege of reading an ARC!

I DNFed Don’t Open Your Eyes because it simply wasn’t enticing enough to hold my attention. I had high hopes going in, since I really enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish, but unfortunately this and the author’s newer books have been disappointing by comparison. The pacing and intrigue that made Mrs. Parrish such a page-turner felt lacking here, and I found it difficult to stay invested.

Read this if you enjoy multiple timeline/POV in your mysteries. I normally do. And I won’t say I that I didn’t appreciate the past and present storylines. I was unsure about the Scarlett POV until farther into the book but it was important to have that in the end.
As someone who loves a good mystery, I will say that I had figured out the Ending partially but didn’t see one of the twists which always makes me happy!

Everything that happens in this book is absolutely wild. Liv Constantine did a great job setting up all the characters in a way that I was suspicious of everyone even before bad things started happening. A woman who is having prophetic dreams but she can't talk to her husband about it because he writes her off immediately, a teenage girl talking to a boy online that immediately gives off catfish vibes, and a man that shows up and immediately wants as much of the MC's time as possible. I had no idea where this book was going to go and I was gripped the entire time. I liked how the author put in different POVs and glimpses at the past! I think they all made sense and gave better insight on what was happening in Annabelle's life. This is mostly a 4 because of how much fun it was (even if this book was ridiculous at times). Liv Constantine is so back!

Absolutely love Liv Constantine's books and this one was fantastic! I was really intrigued the whole way through and honestly had no idea what the ending was going to be like. Definitely a surprise ending! She is such a wonderful author and always makes sure you have twists and turns along the way.

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House- Ballantine, and Liv Constantine for an advance copy of Don’t Open Your Eyes in exchange for an honest review. This riveting page turner was absolutely delicious to dive into. I loved that we went back and forth between the FMC real life and her telling/unexplainable dreams. As always, Constantine does a great job creating a web of questions, deceit, and secrets. This is definitely a must for thriller fans and is available now! I can’t wait to see what Constantine comes up with next!

Meh, not my favorite Liv Constantine book and I guessed most of the twists. Looking forward to see what the author does next!

What did I just read?! It was so good! Twisty and turny and whenever I thought I figured it out I was wrong. A wild ride! I started the first 3-4 chapters of this a couple of times and abandoned it, then finally returned now and read the whole thing in 2-ish days. It was such a well woven story!! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC, I ended up pushing it off based on mood read so it already came out when I read but the next Liv Constantine I will NOT be delaying, this was too good.

4.4/5 ⭐️ Stars - Thank you to NetGalley & the publishers for an ALC of ‘Don’t Open Your Eyes’ by Liv Constantine. This was such a compelling listen! I’ve been a fan of Liv Constantine ever since 'The Last Mrs. Parrish'—a standout thriller I still recommend often. While this one didn’t quite reach a full 5 stars for me, it absolutely delivered jaw-dropping twists that caught me completely off guard!

Told through multiple POVs and across different timelines, the story follows Annabelle, who appears to have an ideal life with her husband and two daughters. But everything begins to unravel when she starts having unsettling dreams—visions of accidents, injuries, and other disturbing events. Soon, the details in her dreams begin to come true, and when one points to danger for her daughter, secrets and lies are forced into the open, setting off a whirlwind of shocking revelations.

I’ll admit, the dream/premonition/psychic element wasn’t really my thing, and that kept me from rating it higher. Still, it made for a wild and unpredictable ride packed with the kind of twists I love in a thriller!!

To me, this is her slowest book. The plot was good not great, but if you love books that are switched at birth drama mysteries versus perfect for you. I typically love her books, but this just didn’t hit the mark for me.

I will read anything by Liv Constantine! This book started out a bit slower than her other books that I have read, but it was building up to a great story with twists and turns and great characters to love and hate - or do you hate the wrong one? A lot is thrown in this story to keep you engaged - a mom who has dreams that actually keep happening, the current day scariness of who your daughter is really talking with on social media and texting with on their phone, mothers, dads, kids, the craziness of what goes on in families, and a whodunit mystery of hit and run of a teenager. I love the way this author writes - I can sit down and read for pure entertainment after a long day at work..
Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to review this book!

Overall I liked this book. The short chapters and alternating timelines kept me engaged and interested. The premise of the weird dreams was different and I kept wondering where it was going to lead. Something about the writing, however, wasn’t my favorite. I think maybe the dialogue just felt weird (perhaps very juvenile?) to me or something. I can’t really put my finger on it but honestly it wasn’t a huge issue for me. I’d still recommend it!

Multiple points of view and timelines. A strong start and but lost me towards the end. It was a bit predictable. I wanted more.

Don't Open Your Eyes by Liv Constantine was my first read by this bestselling duo, and it delivered a gripping psychological thriller that kept me guessing until the final page. The story centers on Annabelle Reynolds, a woman who seemingly has it all—a loving husband, two teenage daughters, and a successful career. But her life begins to unravel when she starts experiencing vivid, disturbing dreams that eerily predict future events. As these premonitions grow darker and more specific, Annabelle is forced to confront the possibility that her idyllic life may be built on dangerous illusions.

The central conflict revolves around Annabelle’s growing mistrust of her husband James and her fear for her daughter Scarlett, who is secretly communicating with someone online. The tension between Annabelle’s rational mind and her supernatural visions creates a compelling internal struggle, while her relationships with her family begin to fracture under the weight of suspicion and secrecy. Constantine masterfully layers suspense with emotional depth, making Annabelle’s descent into uncertainty both thrilling and heartbreaking. This debut read left me eager to explore more of their twist-filled storytelling.

Review: Liv Constantine has a way of keeping you on the hook. I never wanted to DNF this one, but it definitely got some eye rolls from me. The dream plot line was a little much for me and the ending was a little too twisty Lifetime movie dramatic. Overall it was a quick fun read that kept me engaged but not sure I’ll remember it.

The book was really good! I loved the pacing and the multiple POV. Multiple POV help me understand the full story. I really loved that the character names were listed as the chapter titles. It was a great reminder which POV I was reading. I can't believe James did what he did. NO spoilers!! I won't say anything else. If you've read this book you know exactly what I am talking about! He is awful!!! I just needed to share that and get it off my chest! And Tara!! Y'all! She is another bat sh!t crazy individual!

I couldn’t imagine having the dreams Annabelle had and then the dreams w come true! Being able to see the future? That would be crazy!

This was a great book. If it is on your radar definitely pick it up. I think you'll enjoy it!

Thanks netgalley for the arc! I love liv Constantine, but this one fell a little flat for me. The dreams/premonitions were far fetched and I found it more predictable than others by her.
