When Annabelle begins having dreams that quickly become reality, she freaks out. She worries these dangerous and scary dreams are premonitions for the future of her and her family.
Typically I enjoy everything Liv Constantine writes, and this was no different. This book was slower than some of her other books, but really picked up speed around the last third of the book.
Thank you to NetGalley, Bantam Books, and Liv Constantine for this ARC. It will become available on June 17, 2025.

4.5 Rounded Up!
What a wild ride this book was! I loved the twists and it had some great full circle moments as you are figuring everything out. I had some things figured out but there were some I didn't see coming. I wasn't a big fan of how Scarlett's character played out, I felt like there could have been less chapters from her POV but when there were some, sprinkled in here and there, that they were done with a more meaningful purpose. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend to fellow thriller lovers!

Annabelle has an ideal life. A fulfilling career as a social media marketing specialist, a loving husband who also happens to be a doctor, and two beautiful daughters. Annabelle begins to have vivid dreams predicting the future. The thought of having her family leave the house terrifies her. What is prompting her dreams? I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

I have constantly heard great things about this author, so I was excited to dive in. But the writing was so juvenile. I couldn't find anything I liked.

When Annabelle’s dreams start becoming reality, she slowly starts to piece together all the wrongs in her life. She fears the most for her oldest daughter, Scarlett, who is also going through something herself. The story goes back & forth between the POV of Annabelle & Scarlett, with an occasional POV from a mysterious “Wife.” The story was very fast-paced & entertaining that I had a hard time putting it down. It came together in the end with a satisfying resolution.
Thank you to NetGalley & Bantam for an advanced eARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

The queens of plot twist are back!
If you love psychological thrillers that keep you constantly questioning what’s real, what's not and who to trust, Don't Open Your Eyes is an absolute must-read. Again, Liv Constantine spins a brilliant web of deceit, secrets, and unexpected connections that had me hooked from the very first page.
Annabelle seems to have it all , a loving husband, two beautiful daughters, & a fulfilling career. From the outside this idyllic existence is shattered by deeply disturbing dreams. These aren't just fleeting nightmares; they are vivid premonitions of a future where her love for her husband has turned to animosity and her daughters' lives are in danger. Unsettling things begin happening and Annabelle's dreams seem to come true. I loved the writing style, character development & multiple twists!
I would like to express my thanks to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine and NetGalley for their generosity in allowing me to read this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This one hooked me from the start and kept me intrigued the whole way through!! This story is told from a couple points of view with a look into the main character’s past as well. Loved this one!!

What a twisty read that kept me hooked from beginning to end. While the story does require a little bit of suspension of disbelief, fans of Constantine’s style will eat this up like her other novels. I did see some of the twists coming but there were so many layers I was surprised multiple times within the novel.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

The queens of plot twist are back! I have been hooked on this duo since the wife stalker. It is a thriller but also has a dash of other genres and I loved every moment of it. This has become my new fav by them.

If you love psychological thrillers that keep you constantly questioning what’s real and who to trust, Don't Open Your Eyes is an absolute must-read. Liv Constantine spins a brilliant web of lies, secrets, and unexpected connections that had me hooked from the very first page.
What I loved most about this story is how it kept me right on the edge—I always felt like I was just about to figure it all out, only for another twist to come out of nowhere and throw me off course. It’s that perfect blend of suspense and surprise that makes you want to keep reading late into the night.
Liv Constantine has a real talent for crafting layered, manipulative characters and weaving together their motives in ways that feel both shocking and entirely believable. Just when I thought I had everyone pegged, she’d pull back another layer and reveal a deeper, darker truth.
If you're a fan of thrillers that mess with your head and keep you guessing till the very end, this one definitely delivers.

I did like this book very much. It has lots of twists and turns, and was fun to figure out. There were parts that were quite easy to see, but there are a few moves that definitely take you by surprise. I did feel at times that the writing wasn't very sophisticated, but it was a fast and enjoying read.

This was one of my favorite thrillers of this year. Everything I've read by Constantine is great. I love her writing style and character development. I would give this 4.5 our of 5 stars

"Don't Open Your Eyes" is a thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. At times I thought I figured out the twist but I was completely wrong. I love a book that will keep me on my toes until the last page.
Annabelle seems to have it all , a loving husband, two cherished daughters, and a fulfilling career. Her life is the picture of contentment. However, this idyllic existence is shattered by the sudden onset of deeply disturbing dreams. These aren't just fleeting nightmares; they are vivid premonitions of a future where her love for her husband has turned to animosity and her daughters' lives are in danger. The problem is that the dreams are bleeding into her real life. Unsettling things begin happening and Annabelle's dreams seem to come true. She also begins to question her husband and his true intentions.
The novel has three points of view. One is Annabelle, the second is from her daughter, and the third is an unknown narrator. I loved how all three perspectives kept me connected especially the third one as I tried to figure out the connection to Annabelle and Scarlet. This book will make everyone look at their dreams on a whole new level. This is one book that won't make you fall asleep!

This kept me interested from the very beginning! I was invested in each character and wanted to know how the story would play out. I would recommend this book to others.

Liv Constantine always delivers for me, and this book was no exception—at least, for the most part. I’ve come to expect a strong female lead at the heart of her stories, and Annabelle fits that mold perfectly. She’s sharp, intuitive, and carries the story with the kind of quiet strength I’ve grown to love in Constantine’s earlier novels.
There’s a subtle madness and mayhem that weaves its way through the plot, which gives it that signature Constantine feel. The concept of dreams predicting the future? Super intriguing. It had me hooked early on, wondering how it would all unfold.
But then came the ending. And honestly? It felt off. It was rushed and wrapped up too neatly, especially after such a slow-burn, layered buildup. That final dream, in particular, felt more like a convenient plot device than something that deepened the story’s theme. It didn’t feel earned, and it didn’t hit with the same impact as the rest of the book.
Still, if you’re a fan of Liv Constantine like I am, it’s worth the read—just don’t expect the ending to carry the same weight as everything that came before it.

Don't Open Your Eyes follows Annabelle, a mother of two who is ostensibly living her dream life - until she starts having troubling dreams, and the events in those dreams become reality.
I really struggled with this book. I found the dialogue to be pretty flat, and the events were just way too unbelievable. All in all, it was not my favorite.

I was lucky to receive an ARC copy of this book through Netgalley.
I enjoyed this book but it took me awhile to get into it. I would say at about 70% it started to pick up and had me hooked. I was really excited to find out how the story was going to end. Lots of twists and turns. It was hard to put down once it picked up.

You know… I can see why this gets conflicting reviews. The pacing is a little off, it requires you to suspend all belief and the ending is buckwild. All of that to say, I still had a grand time and could not put this down. Sure, it has some flaws but this is for entertainment after all. Would the OB in training notice signs of preeclampsia until it’s too late? Probably. Would the social media queen not be more on top of her daughter’s online activity? Probably. I don’t care. It was an addicting read. I will continue to read whatever Liv writes because I know it will be nothing short of that. The lies were many, but there were no loose ends in the end and that’s what I prefer.

Wow what a rollercoaster, I think I have whiplash!
This book was SO fun, I ate it up. This is the kind of book where you’re thinking “wtf is going on?” “Where is this going?” I absolutely loved the dreams aspect because it really kept me guessing. The characters & their relationships were so well done & that ending! That ending!! Just when you think you know, you don’t.
Part of me wishes “the wife” chapters were left out, as well as the hotel dream because it kind of lead up to the reveal in a way. But that still didn’t take away from such a ride this book was!
Overall a 4.5 star read, I loved this so much!!

Thank you NetGalley and Bantam for the digital arc in exchange for my honest opinion.
Annabelle has a seemingly perfect life. A devoted husband, two daughters, and a career she loves. But then she starts dreaming of a completely different future herself. At first, she assumes it’s just an overactive imagination. Until they start coming true.
This was a decent popcorn thriller, but I found it too predictable and was disappointed by the ending. Not my favorite of her books.
