Don't Open Your Eyes is a deliciously twisted thriller. As she juggles her busy work life (social media marketing) and home life (husband James, daughters Scarlett and Olivia), Annabelle starts having troubling dreams - dreams that seem to be coming true. Is Annabelle really having dreams about the future, or is it all just a coincidence? Can she keep her family safe? Is the past about to catch up with her? The novel alternates between past and present and among several different voices, which deftly adds to the psychological torture.

This was a page turner!! It hooked me from page one and I couldn’t stop!
This is told from multiple POV’s (Annabelle, Scarlett, and the wife). Annabelle keeps having terrible dreams. When some of them start to come true, she becomes more and more paranoid and protective over her children. Annabelle continues to struggle to tell which of her dreams are her anxiety and which may come true. When Annabelle dreams something terrible may happen to her daughter Scarlett, she subsequently uncovers a heartbreaking truth about her past.
This was so addictive! I didn’t want to go to sleep because the story was so compelling! I loved the different POV’s, especially the one from The Wife. Her chapters were so short and mysterious and my mind was racing trying to figure out how it played into the story.

Liv Constantine, known for her gripping psychological thrillers, returns with Don't Open Your Eyes, a chilling and thought-provoking novel that blurs the line between fate and free will. With an irresistible mix of suspense, premonitions, and maternal instincts, this book keeps readers hooked from start to finish.
Annabelle Reynolds has a picture-perfect life: a loving husband, two wonderful daughters, and a fulfilling career. But her peaceful world is shattered when she starts having vivid, disturbing dreams—glimpses of a future where she despises her husband and her daughters are in danger. At first, she dismisses them as mere nightmares. But when details from her dreams start manifesting in real life, Annabelle realizes she isn’t just imagining things—she is seeing glimpses of a terrifying future. And then comes the most horrifying vision of all: someone wants her daughter Scarlett dead. Now, every choice Annabelle makes feels like a step toward or away from disaster. Can she change fate before it’s too late? Or is she simply playing out a destiny already written in stone?
Likes:-
1 Unique Premise: The concept of premonitions shaping real-life decisions adds a fresh and compelling twist to the psychological thriller genre.
2 Relatable, Strong Protagonist: Annabelle’s journey as a mother trying to protect her children makes her a deeply sympathetic and engaging character.
Dislikes :-
1 Some Predictability: While the novel keeps you engaged, seasoned thriller readers might see certain twists coming.
2 Minor Repetitions: Some of Annabelle’s internal struggles are revisited frequently, slightly slowing the pacing in the middle.
Overall :- Don't Open Your Eyes is a gripping psychological thriller that masterfully explores destiny, paranoia, and the lengths a mother will go to protect her children. With an eerie atmosphere, relentless suspense, and an unforgettable protagonist, this novel is perfect for fans of Before I Go to Sleep and The Last Mrs. Parrish.
Thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group Ballantine Bantam for giving me an advance copy.

I’ve been a fan of Liv Constantine ever since I read the first Mrs. Parrish book. This book didn’t grab me quite as much, but I still enjoyed it. A solid psychological thriller!

Amazing!!!! Author duo Liv Constantine NEVER disappoints!
They suck you in from page one with Annabelle's story of young love that leads to some huge changes in her life.
Filled with sadness, friendship, happiness and secrets of her past that like a ticking time bomb will go off in this perfectly paced tale! Her life will blow up with so many twists and turns. I could not put this one down, I had to know the truth and would happen in Annabelle’s story! Great ending as well!
Well written, great character development. Kept my interested from page 1! Loved it!!!! Can’t wait the next book!!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this eArc for my review!!

Boy was I excited to get this arc!
Such an interesting plot based around a woman with premonitions. It did drag a bit for me at times but the ending had great twists and was exciting.

Thank you for the ARC. This story bouncing between the past and present in the life of Annabelle. She also has these dreams that come true. Even though it was a bit of a slow pace, overall, it was an enjoyable and quick read. It had some great twists at the end. It also reminded me of my dating days and being catfished, haha.

Liv Constantine always delivers a fast paced can't put down read. Her latest, Don't Open Your Eyes does not disappoint and was the perfect book to get me out of my reading slump. Higly recommend for a quick fun read that will keep you guessing.
Thank you to net galley for the arc in exchange of an honest review.

A woman with a seemingly good life starts having nightmares, that seem to be coming true. Can she trust herself and the messages in the dreams or what is going on with her. This was an entertaining fast read, twisty and with a strong theme of who can you trust. the scenes from the past could have been mostly left out and the story would have still worked and been tighter. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Liv never disappoints, what a wild ride! I kept thinking I figured it out , but then my jaw would be hanging on the floor. So grateful to be able to read an early copy thanks to NetGalley and random house publishing.

A fast moving thriller that i think my students will really like. I think they will identity with the daughters, esp Scarlet as she struggles with self esteem, friendship, online relationships. The main plot of the dreams coming true, will also be intriguing to them. Enjoyable read 4.5

‘Don’t Open Your Eyes’ by Liv Constantine centers on a woman tormented by nightmarish visions of her future that start to come true. Once again, the author delivers a fast-paced beach read. It has some cool twists and characters you’ll love to hate. Do yourself a favor and add it to your summer reading list.

Ever since The Last Mrs. Parrish, Liv Constantine has been at the top of my list for delivering well-written thrillers. Their latest book, Don’t Open Your Eyes, follows Annabelle, a mother with a seemingly perfect life—she’s married to a doctor and has two healthy, beautiful daughters. But suddenly, she starts having vivid dreams where terrible things happen… and then they start coming true.
There’s so much I want to say about this book, but I don’t want to spoil anything. I truly think the less you know going in, the better the experience. I will say that at the halfway mark, I was convinced I had it all figured out. In reality, I had only pieced together one small part of the puzzle. This novel is incredibly original, packed with twists and turns right up to the very end.
A lot of thrillers leave me with more questions than answers, but this one wrapped up perfectly. I’m giving it four stars instead of five only because I found the motivations of a couple of characters a bit far-fetched. Other than that, this was a top-notch read—exactly what I’ve come to expect from Liv Constantine.

This was a page turning domestic thriller with many twists. I just could not put it down. There were a few different plots, which in the beginning could be a bit confusing, but keep reading as they will get revealed as the story progresses. I love this author and will read anything that she writes.

Liv Constantine is an auto-read for me ALWAYS. She never misses! thanks netgalley & the publisher for the arc in exchange for an honest review

5 stars out of 5.
I really enjoyed reading this book and could not put it down. I was immediately drawn into the plot and loved the different twists and turns. Some of them were shocking to say the least. The book is told in multiple POV so we get an inside scoop on what is going on. I'd highly recommend if you are a fan of these authors!
In Don't Open Your Eyes, we met Annabelle. She is married to her husband James and has 2 daughters. Suddenly she starts getting very vivid dreams that sometimes come true. One dream, in particular, is about her daughter Scarlett. It seems someone wants to harm her so Annabelle needs to figure out how to protect her.

I got planted on the couch with a sick kiddo today and just happened to get the email for this ARC on Friday – meant to be! This was another single sitting read – once I started, I wasn’t putting it down. I love a thriller with multiple POVs, and I really enjoyed the pacing throughout the book. This one is right up there with The Next Mrs. Parrish for me!

DONT OPEN YOUR EYES ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Release date 6/17/25. What would you do if you starting having dreams that were coming true? Annabelle has the perfect life, beautiful daughters, a doctor husband, a great job. When her dreams and nightmares start to show form in her life what control does she have over them? In typically LC form there are lots of twists! However, this one fell flat for me. I did leave with questions, and for some reason it just felt really long, even though it was 90 short chapters. About 60% in I just wanted to finish to get it over with vs. the twists. I know it will be a hit in the domestic thriller fan base. Thank you NetGalley for the ARc in exchange for my honest opinion.

Do dreams hold power? A question I asked myself first while reading Sara Pinburough’s Behind Her Eyes and revisited during this book. I’ve been a fan of the “Liv Constantine sisters” from the beginning and have read everything by them. Don’t Open Your Eyes did not disappoint. I’m

Annabellle and James are married with two kids. Annabelle starts to have dreams that see the future. She dreams and then it happens. The story goes back in time in college where James was a friend of her boyfriend at the time. We also know that James and Annabelle are now married. We also know that Annabelle got pregnant by her college boyfriend. And we learn that that child dies. We also meet a new client for Annabelle Chase who starts to get close to Annabelle and Annabelle has dreams about Chase. We also meet Scarlett Annabelle’s daughter who is messaging a mysterious boy. All these things are on a collision course to a juicy story on what happened all those years ago and how the pieces of this puzzle come together. Really enjoyed to trying to figure it all
out and how it ended.
