This was a suspenseful, well written thriller. The concept was intriguing and the twists were many and shocking.
Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the digital ARC.

Don’t open your eyes by Liv Constantine
I just Recently just scooped up this author, and after reading the last Miss parrish, I knew that I had to read this next novel by this author. I absolutely love how she builds up characters and the creation of the world to which these stories are in. This book starts off with a character by the name of Annabelle Reynolds, who loves her life is happy with her career until she starts having these premonition type dreams where Things start coming true. Her whole family waves her off her husband who is a doctor tells her to cool it that it could be a sign of being exhausted from being over worked which in turn creates even more chaos because after some of the instances start happening and coming true, it puts her even more on edge. This book was an absolute trip. I loved the character build, and I loved the suspense of not knowing what was going to happen next. I loved the thrill of this book. I could not put it down.
I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for an instant thrill ride, and somebody that wants to be invested in the characters to know what happens next
Thank you NetGalley and Random house for this Arc!

This was a slowwww start. I liked the concept of dreams that are like premonitions but the writing style and I weren't meshing and I felt myself interest fading with each chapter, instead of growing. I just don't think this was the thriller for me.

I found Don’t Open Your Eyes to be a compelling psychological thriller. The narrative skillfully explores the aftermath of a profound betrayal, weaving a tense atmosphere that kept me engaged throughout. Liv Constantine’s adept handling of suspenseful pacing and complex character dynamics marks this as a noteworthy addition to the genre.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for providing an advance copy of this intriguing work!

A friend in book club picked one of Liv Constantine's previous books for our monthly meeting and I was hooked right away. I feel like there is so many elements in this book that the author has your mind going in all directions and then she'll drop a little hint of drama to come and you find yourself unable to put the book down. There was so many parts I couldn't predict and that's makes a great suspense book. Highly recommend.
Annabelle loves her job and family life and wouldn't change a thing, unless she could go back in time that is. Out of nowhere Annabelle starts having very vivid and haunting dreams and then watching those dreams come true in some form. Try as she might to prevent the events from happening she can only change part of the dreams, but not before her husband James convinces her she might be a little crazy. James has always been her biggest supporter and she feels so lucky to have him as her biggest supporter but some of her dreams are making her wonder if he is hiding a big secret.
Scarlett has been talking to Ben online for awhile and the two are ready to meet. He has asked that she don't tell her parents about him because they might put an end to their relationship. I mean her parents are overprotective and her friend thinks he might not be real but she is going t o trust her gut and just meet him so she can see for herself before she tells her parents. I mean they seem to have secrets in their closet so who are they to judge? If Ben is who he says he is then her families lives are about to change. And if he's not who he says he is, they'll still never be the same.

In a nightmarish journey into psychological terror, Don't Open Your Eyes by Liv Constantine plunges Annabelle Reynolds into a terrifying world of vivid, prophetic dreams that start coming true in increasingly disturbing ways.
Hitting bookstore shelves on June 17, Annabelle’s already anxious nature ramps up when her nearly perfect life with a husband, two daughters, a great career, and a wonderful home are threatened by bad dreams that turn into reality: an almost head-on collision with her husband and older daughter in the car, a serious fall from a balance beam that could have happened to her younger daughter.
Both scenarios are altered by Annabelle when she changes the timing for James and Scarlett to be on the road and picks up Olivia from school before she can go to gymnastics practice. In reality, a collision did occur causing James and Scarlett to be tied up in lengthy traffic and a gymnastic team member did fall from the beam, breaking her arm.
Relieved beyond words, Annabelle explains why she changed elements in both scenarios to her husband James, a medical doctor, who scoffs at Annabelle for believing her dreams could predict the future. He explains she is overly anxious and needs to return to her former therapist.
As the visions in her dreams become increasingly detailed and terrifying, both Annabelle’s and readers’ dread escalate as the most horrific predictions come true placing one of her daughters in a deadly situation. Beneath all the terror of Annabelle’s dreams and their realizations is a scaffold of past memories and secrets that are coming back into her life.
Liv Constantine has crafted yet another twisted thriller that will not let readers down. She lives in Milford, Connecticut.
My review will be posted on Goodreads, Instagram, and the Cherokee Scout starting June 6, 2025.
I would like to thank Bantam Books, an imprint of Random House, a division of Penguin Random House LLC, and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in return for an objective review.

Alternating chapters and point's of view of Annabelle, 'the wife', and Scarlett (the daughter). It works so well. This was a quick read from start to finish and it really pulled me in quickly. Annabelle has vivid dreams that end with tragedy. She seeks to find the source of them and stop the outcomes of the dreams from happening to her daughters, her husband, and her semi-charmed-kinda life. The mysterious nature of the dreams, alternating view points, and page turning suspense really kept me going. Thank you to Netgalley, Random House Publishing, and Liv Constantine (dynamic duo) for this kick off to summer and a psychological thriller. I can't wait to recommend it to my friends!

Thank you Random House/Ballantine for the gifted book!
I LOVE author duo Liv Constantine- I've read all of their books, so I know exactly what to expect: a wild, crazy, (possibly unbelievable), and fun time!
The way I absolutely INJEST their stories is unlike almost any thriller author! The twists aren't saved for the end, they're woven in throughout the entire story keeping every page insanely readable and unputdownable!
This story was an absolute blast! I was immediately locked in and never once wanted to put it down! I did NOT see the ending coming a mile away and thought it was absolutely brilliant! I haven't read a thriller like this before and I think it's going to be a huge hit!
4.5 Stars

I couldn't keep up with all the twists - caught me off guard so many times. Somehow this is my first Liv Constantine book, but it feels like the start of an obsession. I finished Don't Open Your Eyes within 24 hours of starting, I couldn't keep my mind off it... Thanks for the ARC!

FMC Annabelle loves her life. She has a devoted husband, two wonderful daughters and a job she loves. When she suddenly starts having dreams about her husband and children being in danger, she tries to rationalize away her bad dreams. When some of the details of her dreams come true, Annabelle realizes that her dreams are more premonition than nightmare and she must fight for the safety of her family.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc and to PRH Audio for the alc.
Liv Constantine is back with another amazing thriller, I loved the last two books Constantine released so I was super excited to get approved to read this book.
I absolutely loved this book and I totally did not see the twist coming. Trust me, you will be shocked!!
Furthermore, I highly recommend that you listen to the audiobook version of this book. It is narrated by a spectacular cast including Christine Lakin, Valerie Rose Lohman, and Alex McKenna. These three ladies did an amazing job bringing this story to life.
I wish I didn't have to wait so long to read Liv Constantine's next book now!!

As a fan of other Liv Constantine books I was thrilled for the opportunity to read this ahead of its publication. Knowing their previous works, I knew the husband was going to be one of the villains. Annabelle was a likable main character, but I did not find her backstory compatible nor believable with the main plot line. It also took more than half the book for the story to get interesting. Of course there are twists, but they come the last quarter of the book. This was an okay read, but nothing like Mrs. Parrish page turners!

There is something about Liv Constantine's writing. It pulls you in and keeps you in its grasp from beginning to end. This particular story was perfectly paced and solidly structured. The words flowed seamlessy, and the story was compelling. I really liked that this story revolved around the protagonist's dreams. While this was more about predicting the future with dreams, it still held on to reality to make it feel believable. The twists were well done. Some predictable, some not. Overall, I really enjoyed this one and give it four stars.
Thank you, Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for this ARC.

My favorite sister duo is back with another twisty page-turner. "Don't Open Your Eyes" is a gripping and unique thriller. With some elements of magical realism, this novel was different from their other works, but I really enjoyed it. Told in dual timelines from the POVs of Annabelle, her oldest daughter Scarlett, and an unknown narrator, the story is full of tension and suspense. I truly had no idea who or what to believe. I can usually figure out the twists ahead of time, but this book was full of surprises and definitely kept me on my toes. This was quite an addicting book, and I finished it in just a few sittings. I was a little disappointed with the ending, and I wish Annabelle's dreams were explained a bit more. But overall, this was a fun thriller!
Thank you to NetGalley and Ballantine/Bamtam for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Annabelle Reynolds has it all—a loving husband, two amazing daughters, and a career she’s passionate about—until vivid, terrifying dreams start to shake the foundation of her perfect life. At first, she brushes them off, but when pieces of her dreams begin happening in real life, she realizes they might be warnings of a future she desperately wants to avoid. And when one vision reveals her daughter Scarlett is in immediate danger, every decision Annabelle makes feels like it could change everything. Don't Open Your Eyes was such a wild and gripping ride! I loved how the story unfolded with dual timelines and multiple POVs—it kept things really tense and made it hard to put down. The way the dreams started blending into reality totally messed with my head in the best way. Definitely a great read!

Thank you Net Galley and Random House Publishing for this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Annabelle is having very vivid dreams, dreams that seem to be predicting the future. She keeps dreaming that her daughter Scarlett is in trouble. Scarlett has met a new friend online, but is keeping him a secret. Told through several different POV's, and the past and present, this book is full of betrayal, secrets, deceit, and lies!

When I got this ARC I was SO EXCITED!! I can always count on Liv Constantine for some anxiety inducing twists and turns. This was an extremely fast read, at no point did I think it was dragging. The premonition-like dreams were a very interesting plot point, it was very different from her other stuff. I do wish that was explored more on a deeper level, we just sort of got the dreams, we didn't get to dig into where they came from or why she was able to get them. It was glossed over. The rest of the book really made up for that though. The POV between Scarlett and her new internet friend, a mystery "wife", Annabelle with the dreams and new client, and Annabelle in the past were so engaging. I could not wait to see what happened and how their individual stories unfolded and came together. And OMG the end, this book really delivered on the twists and turns. Some of them were obvious I must admit, but there were quite a few that kept coming after I thought we were done. This book did not disappoint, perfect summer thriller.

I love books with dual timelines and multiple POV’s and Liv Constantine did it so flawlessly. It all fit together perfectly. I was hooked the entire time with a great ending. I was gasping!! I definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a twisty thriller!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.25/5)
This one had a slow burn kind of buildup, but then outta nowhere—bam!—some wild stuff goes down. 😳 There is seriously no way you could guess the twist with how it’s written, which I actually loved. It kept me hooked and wanting to know more the entire time.
Overall—super entertaining, twisty, and definitely one to pick up if you like those “wait, WHAT just happened?!” kind of reads.

Thank you, @ballantinebooks and @netgalley for the gifted ARC!

Thoughts 💭
Liv Constantine are favorite authors of mine, and I've read quite a few of their books. This one took me some time to get into it. It was a real slow burn, but it's laid out beautifully. I was leaning towards giving it three stars because nothing really happened in the first 75% of the book, but the ending was explosive, and I moved my rating up to four stars. Everything comes together at the end, and you just have to be patient enough to wait for it. I do wish the premonition part of the story had more of an explanation other than it just started happening one day, and sometimes things came true. It was a little random for a main plot point.

This was an interesting read. I enjoyed it but did have to suspend all belief. I love how Liv Constantine weave their characters together.
