What an addicting book! This had me hooked from page one. I didn’t want to put it down!

Annabelle seems to have the perfect life with two daughters and a doctor for a husband. She is quite successful in her own career involving social media marketing . One minor issue, Annabelle is having nightmares that an actuality are turning out to be premonitions. And not win the lottery kind of a premonition. James, her doctor husband, of course, does not believe her and attributes them to stress.

The story is mainly told through multiple points of view, obviously from Annabelle both her past and present self and through Scarlett her eldest daughter. This helps provide a little bit of backstory as well as another alternating perspective. I will say some of Scarlett’s actions made me shake my head, but she’s a teenage girl so I assume that can be expected. I like the past and present timelines as it helped paint a picture of what was going on with Annabelle, with the past time, being my favorite

I loved the first 3/4 of this book. I absolutely could not put it down. Then the ending happened and I was just disappointed. It’s certainly wasn’t boring. It just went more into LMN territory than what I was expecting. I also felt the dreams, once their use as a plot device was finished, they sort of never got fully explained minus a small reference to Annabelle‘s grandmother. It isn’t a loose end. I just was curious that’s all! Overall, it was still an entertaining book and I would highly recommend giving it a try.

Our Last Resort is the second novel by Liv Constantine. It follows Frida and Gabriel who are siblings from a cult. They are relaxing at an exclusive resort when a murder occurs. The novel has two timelines and goes back and forth through the chapters of the hook. This novel is less thriller and more mystery.
I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review. Thank you Random House publishing and Net Galley.

I was fully engaged in this! I had no idea what was going to happen, and I loved the way the premonitions played in.

5 STARS. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat flipping page after page. This is the first book in a WHILE that I have read that I truly could not see how the author was going with it. I can not recommend this book enough. I have loved everything I have read by this author and Don't Open Your Eyes did not disappoint! Thank you to Netgalley, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, Bantam, and Liv Constantine for gifting me this ARC in exchange for my honest review

"Don't Open Your Eyes" is a classic example of why the duo Liv Constantine is such a success.

With multiple POVs, readers are taken on quite the journey in this thriller. There are several intriguing characters in this twisty thriller.

I guarantee so many readers will read this in one sitting, I know I did.

Thank you Bantam for selecting me for this ARC.

I have loved everything by this duo. Nothing has disappointed. I was a little worried when I realized this one had a little bit of a supernatural theme, but I was wrong to even doubt them for a second. It was great! I loved the shifting of POV's. That always makes for a fast paced thrilling read.

Read if you love:
🚨 Unhinged Characters
🚨 Multiple POVs
🚨 Psychic dreams
🚨 Dual Timelines

A thriller with just a sprinkle of the supernatural to keep you constantly second-guessing what’s real.. yes please!

Annabelle is haunted by nightmares… ones that start coming true. At first, she thinks it might just be stress or coincidence, but as the dreams get darker and more accurate, the fear builds. Her desperation to protect her family is clear, and I was hooked from the very first chapter.

Told through three POVs, the story never lets up. The shifting perspectives only add to the suspense, making it harder to figure out who’s trustworthy and what’s really going on. The flashbacks are woven in seamlessly, offering just enough backstory without slowing the pace. And every time I thought I had the twist figured out, surprise! I was wrong. Again.

This one had me flipping pages as quickly as possible. There’s a little bit of spice, but the real heat comes from the emotional tension and suspense. If you love thrillers that mess with your mind and keep you guessing until the very last page, this one is a must-read.

Thank you NetGalley, the author, and publisher for the arc.

Thank you so much to @netgalley @randomhouse & @livconstantine2 for this gifted e-book in exchange for an honest review 🖤

From the very first page, I was hooked & I literally didn’t even have time to update what I was reading on Instagram because I tore through it that fast! 🙈

Don’t Open Your Eyes by Liv Constantine is a twisty psychological thriller that blends family drama, professional pressure, and spine-tingling premonitions in the best way. I connected with Annabelle immediately-- her desperation to keep her family safe while trying to untangle the meaning behind her dreams had me fully invested.

It was stressful (in the best way), suspenseful, and so unbelievably gripping. The dual POVs and shifting timelines were done so well and made the tension that much stronger. I was constantly second-guessing everyone and everything-- exactly what I want in a thriller.

Highly, highly recommend this one if you love a fast-paced, layered story that will keep you up way past your bedtime.

Don’t Open Your Eyes hooked me right from the start. It’s sharp, fast-paced, and keeps you guessing without feeling overdone. The tension builds in all the right places, but what really stood out to me was how personal it feels, like you’re right there, piecing things together alongside the characters. If you’re into psychological thrillers that keep things twisty but grounded, this one definitely hits the mark. Quietly intense in the best way.

Rating: 4 ⭐️ - I Liked It

Liv Constantine, the author of the beloved, THE LAST MRS. PARRISH, is back with a new totally WILD thriller!

❤️ for my LOVERS of SLOW BURN thrillers, phenomenal ENDINGS that leave you shocked, JAW DROPPING twists and turns, stellar audiobooks!

💔 I struggled on my thoughts of this one - the first 80% of was SLOW and constantly wondering where this story was going but let me tell you the ending….was worth it

❤️ the last 20% DELIVERED!! It was filled with so many jaw dropping twists and turns you were convinced it was over but then nope more came in to just leave you shocked!!

❤️ like all of Liv’s books, I loved the audio! And especially given how slow most of the book is, this definitely gets you through the slow parts quickly!

Annabelle has what seems to be a perfect life. with 2 daughters a successful handsome doctor and the life of comfort she should be enjoying. Dreams predicting future events start to plague Annabelle as she is thrown into a world she cannot control. Loved and supported by her husband, everything seems to be turning out to be true, as these dreams become an almost reality.. The reader will be wondering who to trust, in this emotional rollercoaster. Nothing and No one is who they seem. Thank you to Net Galley for another Liv Constantine book, that you will enjoy from beginning to end.

Don’t Open Your Eyes
Liv Constantine

I did not enjoy this one as much as The Next Mrs. Parrish or The Last Mrs. Parrish. It felt slower and I was not crazy about some of the characters. It also has a supernatural element. It was still a decent thriller, just a miss for me. 3⭐️

One of Constantine’s best psychological thrillers that will keep you turning pages u til the very end! Great beach read! Thanks for the ARC!

This was a fun popcorn thriller. Told from three POVs…mom Annabelle, eldest daughter Scarlet and The Wife.

This is fast paced read filled with psychological and domestic drama with the hint of a supernatural plot twist. The multiple POVs and short chapters kept me turning the pages and reading way past my bedtime. There were so many twists in the last part of the book that even when I was sure I figured it out, another plot twist proved me wrong.

This is a perfect book to pack in your beach bag or carryon to read on a plane. Thanks to NetGalley and Ballantinebooks for this ARC. This is my honest opinion.

This was a good thriller, but was a bit slow for me. I tend to prefer fast paced thrillers, so it took a bit for me to get into the story. Overall really enjoyed this read, but didn't capture my attention as much as other thrillers!
