This book has great photos of all kinds of kids reinforcing that Jesus loves us all no matter what. There could have been more words to describe this.

I am honestly confused how this children's picture book qualifies as a book, although it is an absolutely delightful compilation of photographs of young children absolutely enjoying themselves and having fun. The lyrics of the timeless song, "Jesus Loves All the Little children Of the World" reappear reminding those looking through the pages that each child is a wonderful creation of God and deserves all the love He has to offer. At the conclusion of the book, readers find a delightful short bio about Tara Hackney, the author, describing her wonderful adventures and accomplishments which again remind readers that sometimes the smallest moments can equal the happiest.

I do wish that there were pages of narrative to actually become a book...

This version of the song drops outdated references to skin colors while sending the same message that Jesus loves every child in the world. I have encountered attempts at changing the lyrics before, and this book does a much better job than I've previously seen. This version also adds new verses.

The photographic illustrations are charming and involve many diverse representations. The photos make this book even more appealing, because kids love seeing the faces of other children. My only critique is that the font is sometimes a bit difficult to read, with different colors over photographic backgrounds.

I would recommend this book to families, churches, and Christian schools who appreciate the original song and want to introduce it to today's children with updated lyrics. This is really great, and I hope that this gets the large audience that it deserves.

What a beautifully rewritten version of this classic song. I loved the lyrics and the beautiful diverse faces of all the real life children.

I just finished reading thos wonder picture book based off a song we all know and love.
I enjoyed the new verses the author added as well as the beautiful photography that captures all the diversity of all of God's children.
This is definitely a book I would purchase and share with my grandchildren.

This classic song has not only been made into a picture book, but it also includes 3 additional verses! Children will enjoy singing the catchy new words and admiring the photos of children of various ages, colors, and abilities. Little ones who read this book will see themselves in it and learn that Jesus loves them too. They may even be inspired to come up with some new verses on their own. I absolutely adore this idea and highly recommend! Would make a sweet gift.
