I expected a quick, spicy read and whilst it was spicy it also had a decent plot!
I really liked this, easy to read, entertaining and a solid enough plot to keep you hooked to the end.
I'm glad it's a series because this will be a fun one to keep up with!

I thought this was just going to be a quick spicy read but about 1/2 through the plot started plotting and I couldn’t put it down!
Meph is a demon with a sense of humor and a big smile who finds Iris, very attractive. Meph + Iris flirt and fight and for a while until they finally decide to become friends with benefits. Their friendship grows and shifts the more time they spend together.
Meph is bound to never change into his demon form again and is haunted by his past.
Iris is a witch who struggles to see where and how she fits in and doubts her power
When Meph + Iris find themselves in a dangerous situation, everything they thought they knew about themselves and each other is tested.
I really enjoyed this book and will continue with the series!
Thank you for the ARC!

I am just loving this series, and I think Meph's book is my favorite so far!! It was just terrific, and I didn't want to put it down. I can't get enough of the demons who became brothers, and can't wait for the rest of them to get their story too!!

This was fun and funny and just overall a good time. Paranormal romance will forever have my heart, and this is exactly that AND enemies to lovers. Two of my favs. Then we get into the emotional trauma and learning to love... Just yes. I bought a physical copy.

This book had me captured from page one and I could not put it down! It really does have a little of some thing for every one!

Thank you NetGalley and Kensington for the ebook of *Demon with Benefits* by Aurora Ascher❤️🖤🥀
This book is an enemies to lovers romance. It's the third book in the Hell Bent series and though it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading them all.
Meph and Iris begin with a casual friends-with-benefits arrangement, but as they spend more time together, their connection deepens, and they come to realize they genuinely have feelings for one another.
The character growth in this story was phenomenal! Watching Iris gradually let down the emotional walls she’s built, thanks to Meph’s support, was so satisfying. Meanwhile, Meph’s journey of confronting the hidden pain he conceals behind humor and playfulness was equally compelling.
I also enjoyed the subplots—switching perspectives offered fresh insight into events happening alongside the main storyline.
🖤 enemies to lovers
🖤 paranormal romance
🖤 forbidden love
🖤 found family
🖤 dark humor
🖤 adventure
🖤 fun sidekicks
🖤 anti-hero alpha MC and strong FMC

Loving this series! I especially love the found family aspect. Each book focuses on a different couple. This one follows LiLy and her tattoed bad boy demon. It starts off as an enemies to lovers. But quickly dissipates because they can’t resist each other. They agree to keep things casual, friends with benefits only, no feelings. This is also a spicy one! It’s great!

I liked the book but it didn't seem to really have a plot until close to the end. Its worth a read once but not a reread.

Reading about Mephistopheles almost makes me wish I could find a demon best friend in the world. I love his seemingly carefree attitude (while keeping everything internal and not letting his friends know how he is feeling), how he expresses himself in his art passion, his absolute obsession with shoes and clothes (and apparent aversion to cleaning and putting them away), while also being completely enamored with our favorite, prickly witch. The dynamic between Iris and Meph is perfection. All the tension, the taunting, the goading to the snap and the fire and passion and cheesy nicknames that made me grin each time I read one!
Iris is so relatable. The self-recrimination for past choices and the guilt about her parents. The lingering anger that bleeds into her everyday life and eventually affects who she is fundamentally as a person. And then the freedom of letting go, finding out who she is, and what she wants, while also learning to accept Meph for who and what he is. Their chemistry is absolute fire. I can't wait to continue this series and find out who we get to fall in love with next! Raum or Bel?
Thank you NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for the opportunity to read this wonderful book!

I received Demon With Benefits in return for an honest review.
This is the third installment in the Hell Bent series. I loved the chemistry between Meph and Iris they have this snarky banter that just makes me giggle and love them more. It's totally an enemies to lovers story which I'm hear for because they both are a little broken but just so perfect for each other. I love the dog in the story he made me remember all the puppy training, and may have puppy fever now.
I love all the characters in this series they are easy to connect with and you can't help falling in love with their stories. I think Iris and Meph may be my favorite but I feel like I say that every book. I love that they are single standalone stories but the past characters are still very much a part of the story. I love the demon brothers each one is unique with it's own story to be drawn into.
I ended up reading Demon With Benefits and devoured it in just one afternoon. Like all the authors books she hooked me right from the start and I couldn't put it down till the very last page. I've loved every book in the series and each one just steals my heart with the characters. Highly recommend as it's one of my favorite series and a must for the monster romance fan. It's a perfectly balanced story that has just the right amount of action and spice. I loved everything about it.

This book was not my cup of tea but it was still good I was just hoping for more from the plot but I loveeeee the characters and the romance definitely would still recommend

This Book is a fierce, emotionally raw continuation of the Hell Bent series. Meph is the demon I didn’t know I needed: snarky, broken, and secretly tender. His banter with Iris is electric, but it’s the vulnerability beneath the teasing that really got me. Iris, the blue-haired witch with a sharp tongue and a guarded heart, is the perfect match for him. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is messy, spicy, and surprisingly healing.
The story picks up seamlessly from book two, deepening the world and relationships without losing momentum. There’s more action, more emotional stakes, and yes more monster kink… Tentacle tongue? Aurora really said “go big or go home.”
✨ Tropes I loved:
• Enemies to lovers with serious emotional baggage
• Found family vibes with the demon crew
• Beauty and the Beast energy, but make it spicy
• Artist hero with a monstrous side he’s afraid to show
This book is a wild, heartfelt ride through trauma, healing, and unexpected love. If you’re craving a romance that’s equal parts filthy and tender, this one delivers.

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Kindle Unlimited: Yes!
I went into this one with high hopes for a spicy good time. And I got it! Though I never felt like the spice took away from the plot and I appreciate that there is a slightly more overarching plot to the series, though this book seemed more focused on the plot within the book and I’m a little confused as to what the whole overarching plot is. It was easy to read and I had a great time. I’m especially obsessed with Meph’s demon form and I hope he makes more appearances as the series goes on. He’s stupid adorable.

This time around we get Meph's and Iris's story! They're both a bit stubborn when it comes to admitting their feelings, but they're just as perfect for each other as every other couple in the series. When Iris found a hellhound puppy and named it Faust, I definitely squealed from joy and bit. How cute?!
I loved that we got to see Eva's mom Jacqui in this book as Meph's art teacher. I was happy to get more of Dan as well as crazy as that might sound.
I couldn't believe the conversation they had when everyone was watching a horror movie. I didn't realize I would like Meph as much as I did then. I truthfully loved Meph's playful teasing far more than I thought I would. I originally thought I was going to find him annoying, but he fits in with the rest of the demons perfectly. I laughed so hard when Iris called him when she was at the coven and had to pretend the call was to someone else. Meph is just such an amazing flirt and tease!
The spicy scenes were all perfection and I swear after every book I say that demon was my favorite, somehow they always exceed my expectations.
Oh how I had a funny feeling about Iris' neighbor, but I never expected it to get dark so quick. It sure was a wild ride, but I did enjoy the parts in the cave. This book was an absolute blast from start to finish and this series is one of my absolute favorites! Thank you to Netgalley, Kensington Publishing, and Aurora Ascher for an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion.

Filled with banter, this “begrudging acquaintance” to lovers follows Meph and Lily. We finally learn about Meph’s history & his demon form, while also watching them both heal and grow into themselves.

I’ve been waiting for Meph’s story since the moment I met him in book one of the Hell Bent series — a lovable, heavily-tattooed demon with a wicked sense of humor and a soft heart. And wow, did Aurora Ascher deliver.
Iris Donovan has sworn off relationships. After a string of failed romances and terrible taste in men, she’s ready to keep things simple. No strings, no heartbreak. Who better to have a casual fling with than her sister’s mate’s impossibly hot demon friend, Mephistopheles?
From the start, the chemistry between Iris and Meph is electric — sizzling banter, stolen glances, and that delicious push-pull that keeps you hooked. But as they spend more time together, their connection deepens in unexpected ways. Watching their dynamic shift from playful and physical to something tender and real was one of my favorite parts of the journey.
With equal parts humor, heat, and heart, Demon with Benefits is a satisfying, steamy, and emotional addition to the series — and easily one of my favorites. ❤️📚😈
Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for providing me with an eARC of Demon with Benefits.

This was a really fun and spicy read! I caught myself laughing out loud several times! Iris and Meph have this amazing chemistry and their banter off the charts!! I really loved the enemies to lovers vibes - oh they class at first! There are also some very steamy scenes!
Oh Meph, there was so much more him than Iris knew and I love how she slowly starts to trust him and see who he really is on the inside. But she’s not the only one! Yes she has some great character growth but so does Meph as he works to reconcile his demon nature.
I also LOVED the relationships between the demon brothers - they were so funny and I loved their banter!!

Meph is easy to fall in love with. The story is engaging as is the overall arch. It's marketed as a standalone but I'd recommend reading in order. It may be confusing otherwise. This was very comforting to read and still a page turner otherwise.

I adore these books!
This book continues the “Hell Bent” story where book 2 left off. I always have fun with these demon brothers and Mephs story does not disappoint.
He is the big, scary tattooed demon with jokes. She is Iris, witch & twin to Lily from the last book. Together have a haters to lovers kind of thing going on.
I so enjoyed the soul-searching these 2 characters did separately and with each other.
The smut is absolute fire 🔥.
You’ll never get me to quit these books, keep em coming!

Surprisingly heart wrenching at times, filled with the painful growth that is life and the monster smut that makes everything better. I started out having mixed feelings about Demon with Benefits. Part of it came from that though these are interconnected standalones I did feel as though I needed to have read the previous book at least as that was where we learn more about Iris's backstory and our introduced to the relationship between Iris and Meph even though they were not the central couple. I would recommend reading the previous book to anyone looking to jump into this story. The other part of it came from seeing too much of my own flaws in Iris. She is hardened. icy, has walls up to the point of self destruction and a complete inability to forgive herself for any misaction. She hurts herself and Meph and that isn't always likeable. BUT and a big but is watching her growth through this book was touching and real. Her and Meph were messy and beautiful and my end feeling was that I loved the story even that parts of it that made me emotional or want to scream as they were hurting each other. AND this but is not just angst it is also funny, and smutty, and involves an adorable hell hound. I am going to go back through the series in order to read about more broken heroes and monster smut.
