Ooooooh boy I loved this book. Let’s be real, I love this whole series. It’s dynamic and all of the relationships are woven through the main plot so well. The writing isn’t always perfect but it never takes away from the storyline.

Meph had my attention from the very beginning. I know masking with comedy intimately and I knew there had to be more to his story. Same with Iris. She’s prickly and rude but it’s clear it’s out of self-preservation. Dig a little deeper and both of them have depth beyond what you see on the surface.

Tropes include: Grumpy/Sunshine, Black Cat/Golden Retriever, Paranormal Romance, Enemies to Lovers

This was a book that stayed with me even when I wasn’t physically reading it. I couldn’t stop thinking about it or talking about it. The plot throughout the series had me in a chokehold. This book in particular had me laughing and fanning myself when things got spicy. So SO good.

The Basics:
Demon 😈 // Witch ✨
1st Person Dual POV
Standalone, but #3 in the “Hell Bent” series
HEA 🖤 + epilogue
CW: violence
🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Thank you to NetGalley & Kensington Publishing for the ARC 🤍

Demon with Benefits might just be my favorite in the series now. Meph and Iris are SO HOT together and I loved every second of them. Not only because of their insane chemistry, but because of how hard won their relationship was. They very much had some stuff to work through and getting there with them was so heartfelt and emotional.
I’ve loved Meph from book one, so finally getting to see his soft, slightly damaged side underneath his sarcastic, tough guy armor made me appreciate all his chaos even more.
Learning more about Iris and her spark made her character make so much more sense and her growth was so remarkable.
Each installment in this series is always so much fun to read, but also full of tender, real moments, especially between these demon brothers I’ve come to love so much.
Thank you so much to Aurora and Kensington for sending me an early copy of this one, and for allowing me a place on her team!

TBH I was really nervous about this book because I didn't like Iris at all! I obviously should have had more faith in Aurora Ascher, because she's making me eat my words.

The first half of this book was focused on Iris and Meph's internal struggles. They both need to work through their inner demons (ha, see what I did there?) so their parallel growth is nice. It doesn't hurt that heir physical relationship is pretty explosive - I'd say this book has more smut in it than both of the previous ones combined. The second half of the book focuses on them as a couple, and is the climax - the fight with the boss/villain. Without giving anything away, it's quite satisfying and ties up multiple loose threads.

I really enjoy the way the author incorporates all the characters we already know and love (Jacqui and Dan, Eva and Ash, Lily and Mist, Raum, Bel), while slowly introducing new characters. I also like that each book tackles one couple with their own issues while also addressing the overall problem of the series (the demons being runaways from hell).

Another great book in the series - can't wait for more!

Thank you Kensington Publishing for providing this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

1 star because I dnf’d it. I just couldn’t get into it. The premise was what made me want to read but it just fell flat for me.

This book is everything I crave-sharp banter, grief-hiding demons, and steam that hits hard. Iris is done with demons after a messy past, and Meph… well, he’s the jokester demon with tattoos, sarcasm, and scars deeper than his smile. When they’re forced into each other’s orbit, the tension? Off the charts. “We’re not falling for each other, right?” Yeah. Spoiler: they totally do.

It’s enemies-to-lovers taken up all the way, with bonus found-family feels from the demon crew. Spicy, emotional, funny, and chaotic in the best possible way.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was fun, steamy, fast-paced and kept me reading. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next book by this author.

I binged read this in one night. I was hooked from the few chapters.

Iris is a witch and she's a little withdrawn from her twin sister and her friends. Iris feels guilty about her parents and keeping secrets from her coven. Iris also is hesistant with her feelings towards demons even though her sister is dating one. She's slow to trust people and she's still discovering more about her powers. Meph seems like the funny guy with his brothers but he has a dark past that he tries to ignore and also hopes it never comes back to haunt him or the ones he cares about. He's fiercely protective and he took me by surprise when I learned he was also artistic.

Meph and Iris' relationship is complicated. Iris can't imagine being in a relationship because of her ex and she still getting over the hate she felt towards demons. Meph's past has left a mark on him and he sees a relationship as uncessary because he thinks no one can know the real him and understand or accept him.

When they both strike a deal to be frenemies with benefits... its spicy and it launches into so much more as time goes on, which I absolutely loved for them. I love reading Meph falling so hard for Iris he was willing to make any deal to save her. And I loved Iris putting aside all fears to comes to rescue Meph no matter what. I was happy how she accepted every part of him and amused by his reaction when he learned of that.

Overall, I'm determined to read the previous books in this series because I enjoyed this one! I love the characters and want to know more about them!

I can’t help it, I love the unhinged ridiculousness of the characters in these books.

After living in hiding among humans for over a year with his demon brothers, Mephistopheles finally has to deal with his literal inner demon. As reluctant as he is to have any emotions at all, he and Iris (a blood-born witch) can't help but acknowledge their mutual attraction.

I loved Meph after the first book and it was fun to see more of his relationship with Jacqui and his irreverent humour. We get a solid look at his past and trauma in this story and it was everything I hoped it would be. The demon brothers continue to be the perfect mix adorable, hot and horrifying all at the same time. I didn’t think I would like Iris, but she grew on me as we saw more of her insecurities and vulnerabilities. The lore and mythology mixed in makes for an intriguing world that I just want to see more of!

Meph & Iris

Love, absolutely love this book! I was eagerly awaiting this one after reading the first two books.

Definitely a different dynamic those two. Unlike the first couples these two just wanted to be "friends with benefits"
I wouldn't quite say enemies to lovers but more like nuisance to desire to love.

I will say a lot more spice in this story compared to the two previous books.

FOUR STARS ****

A big thank you NetGalley & Kensington Publishing for this arc opportunity.

this is a vibe read

I enjoyed this but I think I would probably enjoy this a lot more if I would have read the first two even though this is a stand alone, I would appreciate the characters more.

Lowkey though this book was so funny, I giggled and laughed a lot. And it was my first demon sexy time romance which i didnt think id enjoy but here we are hahaha sometimes the writing switches from third to first person view in like a sentence so that confused me a bit.

Thank you Hambright PR and NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

3.5 stars :)

freaking loved this! I loved the story and characters. I had been looking forward to Mephs story. And now he is my favorite so far! I love the found family and the banter. The vulnerability he shows in the book touched my heart!

Meph is a demon, a terror of the underworld, and a bad boy with a dirty mouth. Iris is a blue-haired young witch who is full of sass. They have a complicated relationship, but it does work, and getting there is fun, bantery, and full of steam, despite Iris’s feelings about demons.

Meph is a complex demon with quite a challenging past. What he shows on the outside is not who he is, which also surprises him, especially when it comes to Iris. As Iris learns more about demons and Meph’s past, their relationship does too. The plot does get a bit dark, but I liked the shift.

Demon with Benefits is a contemporary paranormal demon/witch romance that appeals to a reader like me. Though I read PNR and Romantasy, my interest tends to lean towards the contemporary side rather than the fantastical realm: the plot, characters, and spicy scenes of Demon with Benefits catered to this for me. And I still have demons, witches, angels, and a cute puppy hellhound.

I’m horrible about reading series in order. Demon with Benefits can be read as a standalone, and I had no problem following the story or characters mentioned. I definitely feel some Hell Bent FOMO for not reading Books 1 and 2. Reading Demon with Benefits, which I highly enjoyed, is prompting me to jump back and start at the beginning.

While this book can be read as a standalone I think I would've enjoyed it more if I had read the first two books.

Happy Pub Day for this beautiful deluxe edition! I love a good fun rom com and honestly this series has delivered that on another level! It’s paranormal romantic comedy and it had me rolling but also swooning!

Meph is supposedly the jokester of the demon brothers. But he acts differently around the witch Iris. Iris avoids relationships after her toxic ex.... But they must work together to save him...

Love the humour. The romance is sweet and just the right amount of spice. Enjoy it a lot.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Thank you publisher and Hambright PR for the #gifted ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, it was a wonderful read 📚💖

This was my first book in the series (book three), and while it can be read as a standalone, I did feel like I missed some relationship depth from the earlier books—so I’d recommend reading them in order if you can.

The story pulled me in right away with its immersive world, layered characters, and the perfect mix of tension, desire, and emotional depth. Meph’s artistic side and slow personal growth were so satisfying to watch, especially with Jacqui’s support giving him the maternal care he’d never had.

Iris was a standout for me—prickly and guarded, but with a soft core that only Meph managed to reach. Together, they were absolutely perfect, and I loved seeing them slowly embrace one another, flaws and all.

This was such an enjoyable paranormal romance! The story features many popular tropes like enemies to lovers and found family. I really liked the main characters, a badass fmc and a demon mmc, as well as the writing style which made the book very bingeable. When I requested this book as an arc, I wasn’t aware that it was book 3 in a series. Now that I’ve finished it I can say that it is fine to read it as a standalone book, although it might be better for the world building and overall experience to read the books in order. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun and spicy read!

Thank you netgalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Out of the three in the series that's out, this was my favorite! I have been waiting for Meph's book since My Funny Demon Valentine and it paid off. I honestly wish this book was longer cause I feel like I sped through this book and I was like Kylo Ren MORE with this one. Meph, bless him, as someone who breaks things with everything he touches but discovering that creating art helps him and was creating sculptures left and right. Iris started to grow on me once we started to get to know her more. Also FAUST, SWEEET HELLHOUND BABY. This found family keeps growing on me and I can't wait for the next one, ESPECIALLY when I get a Belial book. I will be SAT

Also, thank you for the arc Netgalley!

Who knew demons had feelings?? And positive ones at that...

We're back in Montreal with our favorite band of (demon) brothers in their quest to find happiness and escape their fates back in Hell. This time, our goofy artist hiding his pain Mephistopheles gets his chance with Lily's fiery twin Iris. Still beating herself up for lying to her sister, hating her lack of power, and having a hard time in love leads Iris down the path to a fun ... arrangement with Meph that turns into more than either of them expects (including a very well-timed panic attack).

I love this series, its funny and hopeful with some antiheroes we can all root for. The stories move quick, the characters have a lot of heart (surprisingly!!) and their Montreal seems so very chic.

Thanks so much to Aurora Ascher, Kensington, and NetGalley for a chance to read this in exchange for an honest review.

Meph and Iris were everything and more! A witch and a demon hooking up no strings attached? Sounds simple enough. But something darker lurks beneath Meph that forces him to keep his feelings distant from others and the more time he spends with Iris, the more he’s forced to face his demon within.

I loved Iris! Her sassy and witty attitude, how fiercely independent she was, and how she challenged Meph every chance she got. And Meph? Who doesn’t love a demon artist who is covered from head to toe with tattoos and is pierced?! He was so funny, cocky, and knew exactly how to get a rise out of Iris. Their hate to lust, to love, hit so perfectly! The banter, the tension, and spice were delicious and so much fun to read.

If you’re looking for a fun, sexy, supernatural romance that has amazing character growth and gives you all the feels, add this to your tbr now!

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for this early copy! ❤️✨
