This is my second round reading Distance and let me just say, it feels like I am reading it for the first time. With the new release of its brand new cover, I was able to get an ARC from Hambright through NetGalley and I have been enjoying it. I have forgotten how much Keller and Sienna brought to the table with their story. Luna Mason is a stupendous writer but give her some Mafia Romance and she will have you reading this stuff on speed.

These characters are very likeable from the start but also processive. Please check triggers before going into this one, as it does discuss certain topics that can trigger and be hard to read.

Keller-is a boxer trying to find his freedom from working in the mob. He not only owns a nightclub but this is where he meets Sienna. The woman who will take over not only his mind but heart.

Sienna-A heartbroken girl who discovers her cheating fiancé' with another woman and decides to go out with her best friend to get out of her funk. In the club she meets Keller and they hit it off right away. The sexual chemistry is buzzing the moment they lay eyes on each other.

These characters will come to not only fall head over heels but obstacles to be able to move forward and have the future they want. Overall, this book is a 5 star in every way possible. Luna Mason kept me on my toes with this one. I was so engaged in this reading that even the second time around I was done in no time. If you enjoy Mafia Romance then this one is definitely for you.

Distance is a dark romance story with mafia ties. I love a good dark romance, and this is one with a QUICK Burn. Sometimes, love at first sight... or lust... just happens and that's exactly what went down in this one! Sophia is fresh off a breakup and her best friend has tickets to the opening of a new club in town. At the club, Sophia stumbles directly into a beast of a man, and one thing leads to the other... and Sophia thinks she's going to hit it and quit it for a fun time!

Well... that beast is Keller, champion boxer, club owner, mafia hitman... and a man who decides he has to have Sophia. This story is super spicy, just a heads up, but yall already know I liked it lol. But there was more than just spice to this story. Sophia's ex is stalking her and the warnings Keller gives him to stay away are ignored, repeatedly. So there's definitely some suspense as well, which was a nice addition!

I really liked Keller and Sophia both. I always love MMCs who are dark, broody, dangerous but then just turn into teddy bears with the right woman. Why is that? Both MCs had troubling childhoods, which I felt added to both their characters. Sophia is sweet but also she can take on the world. While no one ever needs a man, Sophia knows how to balance that line between independence and love.

I'm excited for the next book, because I want more from these characters- especially Maddie. I need her story!

I requested this book because I do love a mafia romance so I was super excited to pick this up. I am someone that loves a blend of plot and romance and I think there needs to be a good balance of both in a story to keep the reader interested. What I found with this book was that we jumped straight into a relationship so quickly that I felt myself losing interest in the couple quite rapidly. I felt that there wasn’t much of a storyline until we got to around 70% of the book. It picked up and I was suddenly very excited for what was going to happen for the FMC… then we had a third act breakup which felt really forced and then the dreaded pregnancy trope…. It is a shame because I was really interested in the mafia side of the story and blending this with a boxer that wants to get out of his ‘mafia chains’ so to speak. It just felt like a lot of spice with not a lot of substance. This book is great for anyone that likes to read mostly spice and focuses more on the relationship. Unfortunately it just wasn’t for me.

This was such a good dark mafia romance! I needed something darker after all of the small town fluffy romances I’ve read recently and Keller and Sienna were perfect for that!

This book was fast paced, and I loved the instant attraction between Keller and Sienna. I loved seeing the growth between the two and their scenes were extra spicy. I especially loved the banter between their best friends which added to the mix . The writing and plot were engaging and fast paced. I like the found family trope which was present in this book. This was a very enjoyable read, and I look forward to more

I could not put this book down and finished this book in a couple of hours!!!

The concept of this book and the first few chapters really drew me in. In the beginning, I really enjoyed Keller and Sienna’s characters. Their spicy scenes were scorching! However, throughout the story, I felt as though their relationship was just lust with no real depth and a big lack of communication. The overall plot also felt a bit chaotic, there were just so many different things happening that Keller being a Boxer or an enforcer for the mafia just felt forced at times.

Sadly I got 50% though this book and then I DNF’ed it. After reading the blurb I thought I would enjoy this book so much unfortunately it just felt flat for me, I struggled to find a connection to the characters and the plot.

Whoo! Where to start with this insane love story!
Keller is an insanely hot boxer but also the mafia leaders main hitman. He has his own mental demons to fight and thinks he's not worthy of a woman's love. Enter Sienna! She just found out her fiancee is cheating on her (literally walked in on him) and she ends up at a club with her best friend Maddie. Side note, I loved Maddie and her love for wanting love!
Sienna trips over heels in the club and Keller catches her when she lands on his lap. The connection is instant and fireworks are never put out between these two.
They both had hard childhoods and are determined to heal from their pasts.
The spice in this book is written so well and there's a ton of it! Not only is the spice written well, but the trust they put in each other to allow themselves the pleasure they want, is incredible.
The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5, is because it was a little longer than necessary but I still thoroughly enjoyed it!!

It took me a little bit to get into the book but once I did I couldn’t stop! The plot was great, the instant attraction between Keller and Sienna was hot and tension-filled. Luna Mason provided a super entertaining read. Sometimes the writing felt a little off or stilted but other than that I really have no complaints. The smut was great, the romance had me giggling and the plot had me in my seat.

So i really wanted to like this one, but it didn't quite hit for me like i hoped it would. It was a little cringey and I normally like insta love but this wasn't it. I was going to DNF but decided to push through

This book was full of banter and spice! I picked it up because of the cover but the characters really dragged me into their world and kept me captivated

I am obsessed with everything Luna writes and Distance was no exception. I love seeing a strong and scary MMC go soft for his woman and that is exactly how Keller is when he meets Sienna. He is so protective right from the start and I was melting. Sienna just got out of a relationship and isn't looking for anything serious, but even she can't resist this big, bad boxer. But the chemistry between them is so insane, they have to give in and indulge!

This is a great read for lovers of dark mafia romance. You can feel the chemistry between the main characters and it makes for a perfect read.

Keller has never been one for relationships. Never really wanting to get to know women or wanting anything besides one night. All of that changes when he meets Sienna. He is instantly drawn to her and that infatuation only grows.

Sienna has her own package and trauma, mainly stemming from her parents. She has been on her own most of her life. After she finds her fiance balls deep in another woman her life takes some unexpected turns.

Sienna and Keller!! These two are a spicy duo. Their relationship definitely has their ups and downs. They both have a lot of healing they need to do in order to make their relationship stronger.

Oh my goodness, I love Sienna’s and Keller’s story! I love the love and then heart break and love again. I love the action in it, the smutty scenes and all the characters except for Jamie! Absolutely amazing work! 10/10!

Keller has a dark past as a street fighter. Sienna had recently broken up with her boyfriend and was trying to let loose.
They had immediate chemistry but they wanted to deny it.
Of course Keller did not want to bring her into the dark parts of his life, but he could only stay away for so long.

There was A LOT of back and forth with this book, but it really worked with the storyline.

If you're a fan of mafia romance, this one definitely checks the boxes. It’s packed with spice, a bit of violence, and all the drama you’d expect from the genre. The romance leans heavily into insta-love, and while some of the steamy scenes were a little over-the-top, it was still a fun, fast-paced read. If mafia love stories are your thing, this one’s worth a shot.
