I devoured this in one sitting!! Holy crap was it SO freaking good!!

Luna Mason has now become an instant buy author for me! I can’t believe this was the first book I have read by her! I have definitely been missing out and can’t wait to read the rest of her books!

Distance has absolutely everything I love in a mafia romance! OMG was it AMAZING!!

I was immediately hooked from the first chapter and couldn’t put it down! I absolutely loved Sienna and Keller together! The chemistry and tension between them was absolutely incredible! Luna had a way of making you fall in love with all of the character and man does she know how to write a story!

I cannot wait to read Detonate (Grayson + Maddie)!!

I absolutely adore insta-love trope! And this one didn't disappointment! Keller Russo is delicious MMC! All hard angles but truly soft inside.

I just love Luna Mason and Distance Beneath The Mask was amazing. I love me a dark deadly alpha male and Keller “The Killer” Russo made my heart beat so fast. Sienna and Keller met at his club and it was insta attraction, and it was so hot. Of course being as awesome as Sienna is she has a dumpster fire of an ex fiancé who won’t let her go. I love how even though Keller doesn’t want to bring Sienna into his world he also can’t get her out of his mind. These two just can’t keep their hands off each other and I freaking love it. And when he calls her his goddess, freaking swoon!! Distance has great spice, an amazing plot, drama and the HEA I was freaking craving for these two.

This is Keller and Sienna’s story. You will definitely fall in love with these two! He is a product of the foster system. She was never wanted and suffered neglect from her the woman who gave birth to her. Two broken people who together form a bond that makes them whole.

This is a story of overcoming and healing. Sienna is determine to give back and formed a program for foster children. Keller helps her enlarge her system and is in awe of what she accomplished.

Both very cautious with each other and on love in general it will warm your heart watching them navigate their feelings and the life they live to survive.

Keller wants to cut ties with the mafia to remove any threat that might put her in danger. She already has an ex-boyfriend lawyer who is determined to do just that.

You need to read this book to find out how it all plays out. I very highly recommend!

I had to DNF this book unfortunately it just wasn't for me. The ebook formatting also was annoying for me to try to read. But thank you for the opportunity.

This was an interesting dark romance. Overall, this book did not grab my full attention, the characters felt underdeveloped and I didn't believe the chemistry between the two.

Distance, was an addicting read & I was completely obsessed with this book! It consumed me! I finished it in a day! A dark mafia romance with a boxer! If anyone knows me, mafia romance is everything to me! It had all the mafia vibes I needed! The chemistry, tension, heat, angst & spice in this book was wow! I loved all the characters, even the side characters!

I was so invested in Keller & Siennas story from the first time they met! I could not put this book down. At one point in this story I was crying, but such happy tears! Keller is oh my goodness, he was everything! A hot big tattooed, strong, mafia, boxer & totally obsessed with Sienna! But has a heart & a softy for no one but Sienna. The lengths he would go for her, is amazing! A true touch her & d*e read! Keller & Sienna were destined to be together! I need me a Keller, please & thank you!

Reading their story was just beautiful & I was here for all of it! I CANNOT wait for the next book! Now, I think I need to recover!

If you're looking for an ott obsessed mmc who will literally kill anyone who looks at the fmc, this is the book for you (who doesn't love a morally grey mmc). Keller is obsessed from the moment he sees Sienna and he falls harder every moment of every day. Sienna needed to learn to love herself after she got out of an abusive relationship, but she grew to trust and love so much more throughout the story.
The story had a lot going on and it kept going at a decent pace. A great start to the series, letting us get to know a lot of characters!

“God, I want her. I want to possess her, claim her, and make her mine. I want to protect her and care for her.”


Really enjoyable read. It was fast paced and full of action which I really enjoyed. Keller Russo is a boxing champ by day mafia enforcer by night bad boy. Sienna Anderson is a British girl wanting to help kids who have had a go start to life and is down on the dating luck. She meets Keller and the chemistry is undeniable. And their chemistry is HOT! 🥵
They go through a lot of setbacks and troubles but Keller is down bad and won’t quit in his determination to keep Sienna as his. Very fun mafia read!

Absolutely loved this book! I have heard so many things about it as well as this author and I’m so glad I read this!

Well, well, well… that was a fun one! I devoured this book and finished it in a day! I couldn’t put it down. Keller “The K!ller” Russo and Sienna were so good together.

I really enjoyed the characters, plot, and the delicious spice! 🥵 The spice in this one was so freaking good. And you don’t have to wait very long it! It starts to get spicy in Chapter 4!

I loved Keller and Sienna. They were so good together. And how they met was so funny. 😂 The push and pull between these two was really good. I loved how Keller tried to stay away, to keep Sienna away from his dangerous life. He wanted to protect her, but he just couldn’t resist her pull. I loved their attraction and draw to each other.

This was my first read by Luna, but certainly not my last! I cannot wait to read more of her books! I especially can’t wait to start the Beneath The Secrets series. I’m obsessed with those model covers! 😂 Yes, I judge books by their covers… Have you seen them?!? 🔥🥵

Distance is the first book in a stand alone dark mafia series by Luna Mason. This is a refresh originally published in 2023.

Sienna is newly single and trying to piece her life back together after walking in on her fiancé sleeping with another woman. She’s moved back in with her best friend and is just trying to lay low and focus on her job and friends, not looking for another relationship any time soon.

Sienna reluctantly joins her friends at the newly opens night club in town and quite literally runs into the owner, not realizing he is also the deal and broody boxer Keller. After their brief run in, neither can stop thinking about each other.

They decide to spend one night together to get each other out of their systems but it only proves how good they are together. Keller is reluctant to bring Sienna into his dark world but when her ex starts working with the rival mafia, Sienna is caught in the crossfire.

This book and plot had a ton of potential. There is a lot of spice but the writing needs some work. These characters are a bit all over the place, insta-love but break up with very little thought. Together, not together, can’t live without each other. I enjoyed the premise for the most part but with this being a debut, the writing could use some maturity and growth. This was a 3 star read for me.

The beginning of a great series that has everything you need from a dark mafia romance, a morally grey man obsessed with his girl and willing to fight for her and a broken hearted girl looking for her happily ever after, can she find it with once the mask has bene removed? Something about a fighter who is willing to use his strength to protect what is his while also being the softness his girl needs just turns me into a puddle.

Who doesn't LOVE a possessive hero in their books. Luna Mason delivered on that front! The chemistry between the two characters, Keller and Sienna is phenomenal and wrote so well. It makes me want more of the authors books immediately.

𝐈 absolutely enjoyed Sienna and Keller's explosive chemistry. Filled with thrilling mafia drama and angsty moments, this is a great binge read for fans of mafia romance.

Ok, like OMG! These characters had me obsessed, how different they are but their beautiful love brought them together. Keller has such a dark back ground and how he was brought up and he was able to turn his life around once he found a stable home and his foster brothers. The authors attention to detail with this main male character will have your lady bits on high alert the entire time. Sienna has a a horrible relationship growing up with her mother, she had a horrible ex that you will follow throughout the story, but Keller enters the picture and his motion changes her look on life. The back and forth pull they have for one another is intense. By the end, I wanted more of their later life. I cant wait to see where book two takes me. Definitely a fantastic read.

Unfortunately this book was just not for me. I had to DNF it at about 50%. I had a hard time connecting to the characters. I may give it another try at a later date but for now it’s a DNF.

I was expecting more from this book. It’s labeled as mafia romance but there was barely any mafia. I like how the FMC was described as firecracker and was very lively and not afraid to speak her desires.
Keller the MMC was a bit much for me. Also the whole story was kind of chaotic. There were a lot of repeats. The third act break up was totally unnecessary.
I am 98% I will not be reading the rest of the series.

sienna catches her fiancé cheating on her and makes the decision to call off her wedding. her best friend Maddie takes her out to the city’s newest club on the weekend to cheer her up where sienna almost falls on her behind but is caught by a sexy-looking man covered in tattoos and muscle.

they both feel an instant connection and electricity - this man, Keller, happens to be a famous boxer who is also the enforcer for the New York mafia which his brother runs. they begin an entanglement of tension and danger.

this was a great story for someone who is wanting to dip their toes into dark romance/ mafia romance.
